Côte Chichester

Every element of the visit was excellent. Good table, super staff, brilliant food and well priced. I would highly recommend Cote Chichester to family and friends.

Nice meal, a little let down by the service at the end of the evening. Almost like they forgot we were there. Not normally an issue here.

First visit to the Chichester restart. Disappointing meal which was refunded. Helpful staff. Would try again maybe not at pre-theatre time as kitchen seemed to be rushing meals out.

I had breakfast with my family to celebrate Father's Day. All 4 breakfasts were excellent, particularly the vegetarian option which my daughter declared contained the best vegetarian sausage she had ever tasted! Very busy, good buzz and service faultless.

We ate early evening at 1930 unfortunately the whole experience wasn’t as good as we would expect being regular users of this chain. The food didn’t have the edge mainly being over cooked from Calamari smothered in a coating to duck being dry and finally steak frites which showed no life whatsoever just a grey piece of meat, I have ordered steak frites many times over the years when it has been red and moist and very enjoyable. In conclusion we decided cote would be breakfast only in future. The staff did replace my food with the same results not good.

We had good service, pleasant atmosphere, good food and value for money. We like the fact that the tables are far enough apart not to have too much background noise.

Brunch for the family as a Fathers Day treat. As always food was very good. Understandably it was very busy so service was a little slower but staff still friendly and attentive.

Not anywhere near the warm friendly inviting service we have always experienced in the past and the meat in my main dish was over-cooked - again, never experienced that at Cote before. Overall very disappointing experience

Very good service and atmosphere. I made the mistake for selecting an omelette and it was over cooked despite asking for it French style. The pea soup was good but overheated. However, I still enjoyed the meal!

Polite staff, good food albeit a bit minimal on the pre-theatre menu. For lunch it is the right sort of quantities but for dinner (it that it your main meal) it it a wee bit mean (e.g. could include vegetables instead of having to pay extra). I don't approve of adding 12.5% service charge without any mention or having to read the small print.

Service was amazing you felt like the only person in the room! I would definitely visit again!! Well worth a visit if you are outside of town!

Food and service were excellent as always. Great value for the money on set lunch menu. It is always best to book as restaurant is very popular with theatre goers.

Each course was well presented and enjoyed. A request for an off the menu desert was accommodated without difficulty. All in all a good experience.

Another great dinner in Cote. The steak was even better than before with a delicious sauce. The staff were as friendly and helpful as ever.

As always, a very good meal and excellent service. Our waiter was delightful and helped to make the evening even more enjoyable. My asparagus starter was outstanding - an utterly delicious tarragon and chive vinaigrette. All the food was very good and excellent value.

My meal was good, but my wife's cod goujons and chips tasted of old cooking oil ,obviously oil has not been changed recently. Shame because it is always very good.

Excellent service. Great food. But no non-alcoholic cocktails. This is a pity as the only other alternatives are diet coke, lemonade etc. Not particularly suffisticated.

The lady who served us was amazing. Genuinely cared about her customer service. She kept her eyes on the tables, giving her service so promptly. The food was great.

Met a friend for a late breakfast and had the usual Croque Monsieur. Unfortunately it was not up to the usual standard and when we mentioned it to the waiter their response was “sorry about that”. Overall, a disappointing visit to a restaurant that we use regularly and normally has high standards.

Visiting Chichester for the weekend, the food was superb especially the goats cheese starter and the apple tart. Would definitely return on another visit back

This was the third time that I had dined at a Cote Brasserie - twice at Chichester. I only gave a rating of 5 for my visit on Sunday.Whilst the staff were excellent and the ambience was good,the food was not of the excellent standard which my wife and I enjoyed at the Lewes restaurant.

Absolutely awful customer service, after arriving with our 4 children, we were turned away by the rude manager, second time he has done this now , I don’t think the new manager wants family’s with young children in his restaurant. After visiting the place for 6 years we are disgusted

Greeted on arrival and offered table of our choice. Give time to choose both our drinks and food and offeredsomething whist we purused the menu.Excellent food and excellent service as always. Would recommend.

I was in Chichester overnight and had to check out the Cote there as I normally frequent the Glasgow (home) one. It lived up to the Cote standard with good food, service and atmosphere.
