Lovely evening with friends, always friendly, welcoming staff and good food. Nice atmosphere. Steak was particularly good on this visit as was the calamari. Thanks

Recognition was the key here - the manager was very welcoming on arrival & mentioned that he had recognised me & my name on the booking sheet. I was dining alone but was offered 2 tables to choose from. I was advised that my main choice would take about 15 mins to prepare. All this was good customer service & I will return again!

As usual very efficient despite our booking not being found on the system. Fast, efficient service and great food. Staff are brilliantly trained and we knew we would get served in a relaxed fashion before our theatre trip.

Having had dinner many times in Cote Chichester before, last night was a little disappointing. They were extremely busy, we dined at 8.15pm,and as a result the service was slower than usual, we finally left at 11.15pm our dessert only arriving at 11pm! We had not slowed down ordering our courses by delaying placing our ordering. A good job we were not in a hurry! My main course duck breast served pink which I have had many times before, they don't change the main menu very often only the specials, was served overcooked, maybe it had been plated a while before as it was cool. The staff were rushed off their feet but still maintained a smile and were as polite as always. The ambiance was party like and somewhat noisey, especially where we were seated so it was difficult to make conversation without raising our voices. The moral in my opinion is to dine their at a quieter time which is our normal as we dine after the theatre so are dining at around 10.15pm!

Great food ,friendly staff fast service and a good atmosphere ,would thoroughly recommend the restaurant cannot wait to go again ,it's a really lovely treat.

As usual the food and service were very good. There was a pleasant relaxed atmosphere and we were made to feel welcome by all the staff. The house red was a good wine.

First class service and food for a birthday breakfast this morning- complimentary mimosas delivered to the table as soon as we arrived (a lovely touch!) attentive staff throughout and excellent food as always.

A really excellent meal - we had the prestige menu - well balanced and delicious. The service was as good as ever - unobtrusive, friendly, polite and above all very professional.

Really good food and service. It is great for a restaurant to have daily and monthly specials. I had crab bisque followed by pork belly. Both were really tasty and served piping hot. We'll go again.

Really lovely food. Chicken supreme with artichoke- very satisfying- partner had duck - equally good. All that spoiled it was the very slow service and a patronising waitress that told me the wait felt longer as I hadn’t had a starter! Been to many Cotes - this was the slowest but great food.

Yet another enjoyable breakfast at Chichester. All round excellent quality, super coffee and very pleasant service. We will be visiting again very soon. My only regret is that there is no cote brasserrie in Soutjhampton. Brian W

I visited Cote yesterday with a friend and as usual we had a great lunch. Plenty of choice and such good value. Our Portugese waiter was excellent - helpful efficient and so polite. We will be back its always so busy so please book ahead.

The 2 menu fixe were interesting with plenty of choice. We thought the wine by glass varied and good value. The waiting staff were well trained, attentive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the restaurant and will certainly return.

Overall, ok but forgot to take one drinks order at the start and forgot a sauce with one main meal that we had to ask for twice

It was ok, meal quite nice, service adequate but overall a bit disappointing compared with other visits to the same place; it seems to be loosing some of it's shine

We enjoyed the set menu - haddock with pea puree was very good as was the 'cottage pie'. So good we are looking forward to our lunch at Cotes in Winchester next Tuesday.

It was very good just for the one course we each had - time is always short when one of you is working- but the meals - one onion soup and one chicken and walnut salad were both substantial well prepared and the service from all who contributed from arrival to departure was very good.

Nice staff. I thought my mushroom and spinach crepes were a bit disappointing and small portion. Creme caramel delicious as always. My friend had seafood linguine - the sauce was very thin and did not cling to the pasta - again disappointing. Its a shame - it is the first time I have been disappointed in the food at Cote Chichester.

My son and I went there for the Goodwood Revival. We were not disapointed Whale (That is his name) was an excellent host, the food and service were superb!

Only a 5 as my white wine was not chilled enough and I was offered ice to put in it! It was the special of the month.

My favourite French Toast breakfast and staff couldn't have been more helpful in making sure I had a quiet table for an online meeting at the same time.

Another excellent meal served by an outstanding waiter who managed to get the balance just right. Cote continues to provide great quality and for a chain restaurant.

Quick and efficient service, helpful, friendly staff. Food and drink always high standard and for me, as a coeliac, I KNOW I can rely on it being gluten-free. Côte never fail to meet our expectations.

This is my 3rd visit to Cote Chichester and it doesn’t disappoint. The staff are also pleased to see you are the food is alway of the highest quality.
