Good atmosphere and very friendly service making us feel welcome. Overall food was to Cote’s high standard although the fish stew was not the usual recipe being full of leeks and a disappointment.
Excellent food and service as always. The special menu is great value for money. I always have the steak frites. After starter and main usually no room for pudding!
A friendly welcome, as always, excellent service, really tasty food, and despite it being the festive season we were not hurried along at all - consequently we were able to have a good catch up whilst enjoying our lovely lunch.
Always very attentive service and nothing to much trouble. Always a good atmosphere and the quality of food is excellent even though it is a chain, ribeye steak always my favourite.
Excellent food,a good choice of dishes, friendly staff. Always good to eat here. A place to book early to avoid disappointment. I can thoroughly recommend eating here .
Really good meal out with friends for a Christmas lunch ,good food ,wine was corked ,no problem replaced immediately, great service from Lesley ,in a warm inviting atmosphere, will definitely go back !
Lovely, a very pleasant dining experience. A very comprehensive menu, beautifully cooked and presented. The service was very good, all the staff were polite and attentive.
My friends and I meet up for brunch once a month, always at Cotes in Chichester. The staff are so attentive and friendly and we love the food, always choosing something different each time we are there. The spice of life :)
We have always had a very good experience at Cote Chichester. However, this time we were a little disappointed. The duck in the cassoulet was crispy instead of moist (this was a new idea they were trying). The chicken in my salad was a little dry too. I think they were extremely busy and a little short staffed because the attention from staff was not quite up to the normal standard (bottles not removed from our table and water not topped up). The maitre d' was accommodating and we were not charged for the cassoulet, which we would have been happy to pay for. However, this experience has not put us off returning to Cote because we have been many times and found it excellent.

It never varies....how do they manage that, fantastic staff Great prompt response to all questions. , can't wait to go back and relax with another fillet steak...well done to the management. .
We go here quite regularly and it is always good but unfortunately my food didn’t come out hot today, they did redo the dish but unfortunately my boys had finished eating by then so sadly I didn’t eat at all, not the same eating on your own. It was a shame as it was a treat after our Christmas shopping.

Christmas table d'hote menu excellent and very good value. Onion soup, steak and chicken were great. Pain perdu was delicious, vaguely related to bread and butter pudding and should be exported to french restaurants nationally as it was so good, and so much better than "ile flottante".
As usual, excellent service, really good food. One small thing to mention, they do not sell sherry nor do they have balloon glasses for my gin and tonic which I like with lots of ice
Definitely the best place to eat in Chichester, and I recommend Cote restaurants anywhere as the perfect place for a pre-theatre meal as the service is quick but not rushed, combined with excellent food.
Superb two course meal from the pre-theatre menu with a glass of Kir Royale. Staff attentive without being intrusive. Great atmosphere. Excellent value for money.
Excellent service and lovely food - as ever! The Poulet Grille, fish parmentier, tuna Nicosia and cassoulet were wonderful. And my ice cream to finish was superb.
I would like to see all of the more senior staff being more attentive to customers, the other waiting staff were great, food and presentation was excellent

enjoyed the food. service very friendly and good. bit noisy as it was quite busy. long trek to loos. amazed that kitchen is upstairs. got fed up putting comments in
another good meal at Cote. have to say I was disappointed with the frozen fruit and white chocolate sauce as the sauce was too thin and tasteless.. The starters and mains were lovely though.
Definitely the best place to eat in Chichester, especially if you are going to the theatre there, as the pre-theatre menu is excellent value. Our meal this time surpassed itself, with moules in white wine followed by coq-au-vin and chocolate pot. They make the best cappuccino. Coupled with quick but not hurried service why go anywhere else?
A very warm, friendly welcome from this lovely restaurant. Food was good value and extremely tasty. I thoroughly recommend Côte in Chichester and will be going back soon!
As always the meal was of very high quality. The bream was cooked to perfection. The mussels in the cream sauce are to be recommended. The creme caramel delicious
This is the second time I have eaten at Côte and it didn't disappoint. The decor and atmosphere are conducive, the food is delicious and very good value, and the service is polite and attentive. My only niggle is that the background noise because of all the hard surfaces can be a little intrusive at busy times. Otherwise, top marks.
Never ever lets us down. Perfect steak frites every time. Perfect chocolate mousse and frozen berries with hot sauce. Excellent wine and service always spot on.
As usual, everything was made freshly, and served hot, with properly warmed plates. Service was good, with delay between main course and dessert as requested. We go here regularly because we know we will have a good time.
If we eat out in Chichester, Cote would be the restaurant we head for. We find the staff friendly and courteous, food delicious and overall experience always very enjoyable.
Once again an excellent meal together with good service. My husbands soup was not very hot but this was rectified with sincere apologies. Always my favourite venue for a meal in Chichester
Booked online and asked for window table - that’s what we got - service from start to finish was perfect - could not have asked for more
Excellent atmosphere, excellent staff and excellent food - all you need for a great evening out. Cote Chichester never fails to delight and it is good value.
Another enjoyable visit to Cote Brasserie in Chichester, where one is guaranteed a welcoming atmosphere, dependably good food and professional waiting staff that are never intrusive. The restaurant was decorated appropriately for Christmas, and tables were occupied by a few works Christmas outings and late-night Christmas shopping shoppers taking a well-deserved break from their shopping expeditions. We partook of the special 2/3 course menu, which offers good value for money and never disappoints. Keep up the good work, Cote!
Staff excellent a most enjoyable lunch as always will be back .The restaurant was packed but staff and kitchen were not phased we were treated like returning friends not just customers

The restaurant offers a combination of good food at a reasonable price for the quality and a pleasant ambience . It is well managed and with friendly and efficient staff
We had a fantastic experience at Cote this evening, thanks to superb service and lovely food. It was helped by complimentary champagne on arrival, as I’d mentioned in passing that it was my wife’s birthday. That aside, it really was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had for a long time and at very reasonable prices. Thanks to our lovely waitress.
Another great meal in Chichester served on very hot plates - such a difference between Chichester and Farnham where food is served on stone cold plates!
Lovely food. Professional but friendly staff. All in all an excellent pre-Christmas lunch with friends. Go to Cote regularly and it's always good, so no surprise that it was so enjoyable
Really lovely evening at cote brasserie.. Delicious food. The best scallops I've eaten in a long time! All the staff are very friendly and efficient.
Always a good experience at Cote, Chichester but rather disappointed as booked online (and had print out to prove it) but they had no knowledge of our booking , fortunately not busy at the time but could have been rather awkward.
Warm welcome, attentive service, great menu choice, really good specials menu. This is a place to visit over and over. Gets really busy at peak times so booking a must.
My booking was satisfactory and an enjoyable meal. The staff were very efficient. I will book again this way as it is very convenientl without any trouble.
cabbage under the pork belly was only just warm,as was the puff pastry in the apple sweet.staff were very welcoming and helpful with prompt service although we were told there would be a 20 min wait
We ate at Cote Chichester 4 times in November so it was good to have the new December menu this week! As always, everything was excellent! - food, service, atmosphere.

Always a warm welcome here, the staff have time for you. We went for a late lunch, the service was a little bit slower than usual but that wasn’t a problem as we were meeting friends. Staff here are very aware of Coeliac customers and what that means, providing a menu with the minimum of fuss and checking when food comes from the kitchen. Altogether a very pleasant experience.
The food was excellent. However, we were told that frites were included in our meals , but when our meals turned up without frites we asked for frites, but were charged extra for them.
Excellent food and love the cooked breakfasts' and I am a raving fan of the professional staff. Always time to smile and chat with you
Excellent food, excellent service all at a very affordable price. This is by far the best restaurant in Chichester, so not waste your time and money on the others!!
Always excellent food and a buzzing atmosphere. Whenever we visit Chichester, we always book to have lunch at Cote Brasserie because we enjoy it so much, plus the staff, who know us, are always very friendly. Thanks once again Cote!
Excellent meal. Very attentive service.Very good value for money. The sea bream was cooked to perfection and the chocolate pot is very moreish. Will definitely be back!
2nd visit. Excellent food. Reasonable price for the quality. Friendly, attentive, but not overbearing staff. Enjoyable ambiance. Not too cramped. Clean facilities. Complementary water served at table.
