Busy for a Thursday lunch so suggest booking. Staff were very attentive and the service was efficient. Food is consistently good here but the basic set menu dishes I had didn’t stand out. Still good value and a nice experience.

Excellent welcome, great table with banquette seating as asked. Drinks and food served quickly and as always at Chichester, piping hot.

My wife and I enjoyed yet another lovely pre-theatre meal this evening at Cote in Chichester. The staff are simply superb and the food delicious! As usual, there was a lovely ambiance with a real buzz, but still with plenty of staff to go round. We have enjoyed excellent meals from Cote in a number of locations around the country, from Bath, to Winchester, to London and Edinburgh, but Chichester remains our favourite Cote destination! A sincere “thank you” to all concerned!

July specials on the a la carte menu excellent - especially the lobster. Service very attentive and friendly.

Delicious food, perfectly cooked and simply served; a very enjoyable experience.

Had full English breakfast usually delicious as often has. However the fried eggs came almost hard boiled i.e. almost inedible (why not checked?) and not runny as asked. Also our orange juice came halfway through our brunch after we asked it was. Usually the service is impeccable here and the staff lovely. The manager who is great, gave me a free coffee for the delayed meal. We still enjoyed ourselves and will always eat there in future.

Great experience. Staff very friendly and we were given a nice welcome on arrival. Service was excellent with charming waitress. Complimentary bottle of wine and delicious food. I had forgotten my reading glasses and our lovely waitress managed to find me a spare pair. Only criticism - my chicken was rather tough. I must have been unfortunate as my daughter and son in law both said how good theirs was. Third visit to Cote this week and we will be going back as soon as possible.

Atmosphere was lovely. Timing was great, I was amazed at the quality of food when there wasn’t much waiting time. Tasted amazing. Staff all friendly. I was shocked at the bill at the end and very happy overall!

Tried the lobster mains at £24.99. Unfortunately this was a big disappointment and did not live up to expectation. The lobster was of a small size, very little tail meat, no real lobster flavour and the claw meat was a soggy mess.

As usual, our experience of Brasserie Côte in Chichester was excellent. The staff are always so cheerful and welcoming, as well as providing first class service. The popularity of the restaurant can be seen by the fact that it is always either full or nearly so

This was the first time I had taken my 12 year old granddaughter and this was a birthday treat. Her two brothers have been on several occasions and she was thrilled tonight to go to a real french restaurant and to eat real french food which she thoroughly enjoyed - two empty plates made it abundantly clear!! The Staff go out of their way to make their younger diners feel at home. Once again thank you Cote!

Once again we had a lovely meal, thank you. I have to say I was rather disappointed this evening in the waitress and restaurant manager. I had ice-cream for dessert, only to find a piece of broken glass in my mouth which was from the edge of my sundea glass. Fortunately I hadnt swollen it. I pointed it out to the waitress who apologised and was going to speak with her manager. I would've expected the manager to come over to me but didnt. Just before leaving I asked the waitress if she had spoken with him, she said yes. She said she would get him but I said no as too late as had already paid was leaving.

As always, the staff were welcoming and helpful even though we were late for our (already late) booking. The food was as good as ever, and we had excellent negronis and a bottle of chablis which was expensive but worth it. We shall continue to treat Cote as our go-to late eating place; one day we might try to get there earlier in the day!
