Lovely and pleasant experience. The waitress was very quick with everything and very helpful. The food was gorgeous and it has a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Not as good as previous visit. Food not as good. One desert didn't arrive.

Our first visit to the restaurant and we were quite simply ‘over the moon’; from the attentive staff to the utterly delicious food, everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be returning soon. Thank you!

Excellent meal as always. Service quick and efficient. We were not rushed at all, time to wait to order desserts and coffee. Problems when paying due to technical hitch but staff apologetic. Will definitely visit again - especially for Breton fish stew.

Our meal was very poor,three of us ordered the Cod goujons which were dry and tough. Two dinners accepted alternative meals and none of us were charged for our main courses. However,this has put us off visiting again,we have always relied on Cote for value for money and a pleasant meal in the past but will not recommend or visit again. The service was good.

Our food was incredibly bland. We had the sea bass and calamari. We are quite disappointed considering it was quite expensive. We've had some good food previously but after this experience we would reconsider going back again.

Really good atmosphere, a good buzz but still able to have a conversation. Good menu with some seasonal specials. The asparagus was lovely, as was the rhubarb martini. Thoroughly recommend.

We love Cote & visit probably monthly, choosing the seasonal specials, usually at Cardiff Bay but choose Cardiff Central on this occasion. Food is always faultless. There was nothing particularly wrong with the food but neither was it particularly good. We choose the specials. The crevette salad was fridge cold & tasteless, the veal was dry & the chicken was tiny. The potato side dish was a little overcooked, as if it had been waiting around for a bit. The profiteroles were dry & lacked sauce. It wasn't awful & we'll go again next month, but this was the most disappointing meal we've ever eaten at Cote. There was also a vibrating beat coming from the nightclub next door. Hopefully a one off.

Our meal at Cote in Cardiff central was perfect, we were looked after so well by the manager Harrison and our waiter Niko, our food was perfect and everything arrived promptly. We really enjoyed our Friday evening with you, thanks very much to all the staff there.

We booked for lunch. We were warmly greeted and taken to our table. The restaurant was quite busy. There was a pleasant atmosphere. The service was very good and the food excellent. Really good value .

Prompt service for pre-theatre supper. Opted to upgrade to rib-eye on set menu. Preferred the usual steak frites to be truthful. Calamari starter was good.

Busy evening at Cote Cardiff Central The place was jumping for a Tuesday evening. There were a number of events on in Cardiff and still standards were high with food and service being to the normal high standard. Thank you for a lovely evening.

New Year’s Eve at Cote French flair on New Year’s Eve. What more could you want - excellent location, lovely food and excellent staff. The right combination for a great night.

Cote delivered as it always does . A very busy evening due to a concert , the service was excellent , food superb as always . The pork loin was beautifully cooked , the mushroom ravioli excellent as were the fishcakes and burger . Calamari is always a winner , as was the salad and mushroom brioche as starters . How they constantly produce such good quality food and service at extremely busy times amazes me

Having heard a lot of good reviews, we booked for a party of 6 We were all slightly disappointed and only consider to be of average standard, both food and service Two steaks were considerably under cooked. We were compensated with gratis wine however would if preferred the food to have been better as we were celebrating a special burthday

One waiter lacked communication skills (happy to provide name, confidentially). Why display March specials on Board when are in Feb’?

Another first rate experience at Cote, with fine food and a good choice of wine. As ever, the service was excellent and I’d happily recommend this restaurant.

I like really a lot Cote Brasserie and usually I go in the one located in Bristol. The customer service was quite ok but to be honest I didn’t like so much the quality. Different from the one I find in Bristol

Really tasty! Only bad point was they run out of potatoes to go with the duck!!! Soup was amazing and the dessert platter even better
