Great for a pre gig meal, staff were accommodating and food tasty

One of our go to restaurants when I'm Cardiff to go to the theatre.

Good customer service. Food was good. Great for meeting a friend for lunch.

Great supper. Both went for fish (tuna and sea bream. Washed down with lovely bottle of chilled Chardonay . Shared an almond based dessert. Great service. Our go to restaurant in Cardiff.

It’s great to mark the arrival of Christmas with a great meal. For us it doesn’t get any better than Cote de Boeuf washed down with Chateauneuf du Pape at our local Cote. Not the cheapest dish on the menu but utterly delicious. Usual great service. A benchmark for future visits.

My train from Bath was cancelled so I arrived horribly late. However, Côte was really helpful - they phoned me to ask if we’d be still having lunch. Excellent service and lunch was excellent, as usual.

Really delicious breakfast. Freshly cooked. Decent sized portions. Nice coffee (extra). Great way to start the day.

Really yummy dinner. Both had beef Bourgignon washed down with Treviac, our favourite red, then shared panacotta dessert and glass dessert wine. Delicious and good value. Service unrushed and courteous. Really enjoyable meal.

Lovely post performance supper. Calamari followed by poulet Breton washed down with beer and delicious glass white wine. Attentive courteous service. Just a shame more Cardiffians don’t seem to want to savour the joys of a great meal after a great concert.

Went to see the lights in Bute Park. Rounded off the evening with a lovely meal in cotes. Great night out.

Heaven for me is the new Cote de Boeuf with frites and all the trimmings washed down with a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pspe. Not the cheapest items on the menu but a combination from heaven. Usual great service and ambience.

Another great dinner at Cardiff Central. Beer aperitifs. Smoked salmon and crab starters, chicken and salmon mains with sides and fruity tart with ice cream dessert. Washed down with entry level white. All delicious, Around £50 pp with service. Great value at great restaurant.

Service and food both as good as always. Sea bass was particularly good.

Another yummy lunch at Cote Cardiff Central. Obviously extremely busy as just before Christmas but high service standards maintained. Lovely calamari starter and boeuf Bourgignon main. Great wines to accompany them. Reasonably priced. Our go to restaurant in Cardiff.

Another great post performance dinner at Cote Central. Kicked off as usual with a shared Fougasse (bread) and a beer to contemplate the pleasure that lay ahead. This time my wife and I shared cassoulet de Toulouse, beef Bourgignon, tarte fine aux pommes and cheese. Washed down with bottle Treviac which happily is also available by glass as one bottle is never quite enough. All delicious. Excellent value. Great service. Our go to restaurant in Cardiff city centre.

Change for us - lunch instead of dinner and Cote Cardiff Central instead of Cardiff Bay. Same high standards in all key areas - yummy food and wine, great service and buzzy atmosphere. Great place to eat!

So good that we’d booked - it was a busy lunchtime but the tables are well spaced and it felt Covid Safe. Excellent service and delicious food, as usual.

Had a great meal with some friends who were visiting from Cornwall. They were amazed - nothing like this in Falmouth!

A lovely table outside, in shade/sun. So good to get together and enjoy the food and drink, although it’s a shame they wouldn’t do a Starter size Moules (it wasn’t on the menu previously but they would always do it) and have taken the Frozen Berries with Hot White Chocolate Sauce off the menu!!

Service was great food was delicious however we were directed to leave in haste as there was some sort of emergency on site, which we did. We therefore did not sign off our bill. I hope they will write so I can sort it out
