My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Côte today. The food was delicious, with a good range of options available, and good value. The ambiance was lively and relaxed and the staff were very efficient and friendly. A very good experience - we'll be back!

Excellent meal as always. Service quick and efficient. We were not rushed at all, time to wait to order desserts and coffee. Problems when paying due to technical hitch but staff apologetic. Will definitely visit again - especially for Breton fish stew.

Our meal was very poor,three of us ordered the Cod goujons which were dry and tough. Two dinners accepted alternative meals and none of us were charged for our main courses. However,this has put us off visiting again,we have always relied on Cote for value for money and a pleasant meal in the past but will not recommend or visit again. The service was good.

Staff were attentive and engaging Really helpful in accommodating my elderly aunt’s wheelchair and seating requirements. Food as always very good, although pissaladiere was a tad over grilled. Great coffee!

Had lunch at cote cardiff yesterday, very friendly helpful staff, food was excellent and also enjoyed our complimentary cocktails we only wish that there was a cote around mumbles Swansea area as we have to travel to cardiff for our nearest cote

As usual we enjoyed a pre theatre meal in Cote .We took advantage of the cocktail offer this March and it was a very enjoyable start to the evening .

Seating was not what I'd asked for, despite having booked a week in advance, but there were no better options on the night (they obviously don't read your requests and preferences when taking a booking). Probably try somewhere else next time though, but it was fine otherwise.

First timeers at Cote and we had a really lovely meal. Couldn't fault the service. We will undoubtedly be back.

The Cote restaurant is a favourite of ours in Cardiff city centre. We booked a table for 6pm before walking across to the St.David's Hall for a Catherine Jenkins concert. The restaurant was almost full when we arrived but we were served quickly by the very professional waiters and waitresses. We very much enjoyed our meals from the Prestige menu available before 7pm. The Breton chicken and the Pork Belly were excellent. We left in good time for our show.

The savoy cabbage with the pork belly was not great but after pointing this out to the waiter , who apologised and offered recompense. Would prefer to have a little time between course ( but understand how busy the restaurant is) otherwise lovely experience.

Went for lunch before seeing Take That. Very busy but extremely well organised and staff couldn’t have been more attentive. Food was served quickly and was delicious. Great start to our girlie day out , thank you!

Côte offer fabulous service and tasty meals. It’s one of my favourite places to have a romantic meal or socialise with close friends. The staff are always welcoming and very clued up on their wines and range of meals. 10 out of 10 from me!

Great food - particularly the Breton fish stew - and lovely wine. And the creme caramel is still perfect. I've been a fan of this Côte for very many years. Hardly surprising really, it's the best place in town.

I find Côte always very good for a chain restaurant. Food usually very good. Today I rated it average because I had a very watery cooked breakfast. This is because I had opted for poached eggs and somehow they hadn’t been drained very well before being transferred to my plate. Having said all that everything else was great.

Wonderful breakfast and great value. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We both had the eggs benedict on the cooked breakfast deal with a hot drink and fresh juice.

Staff happy to help and friendly but forgot knife for steak until asked. Had to ask for desert menu. Had to ask to order drink and food. Seating cramped and menu limited. Quality good and allergies taken and alternative offered. Shouting from kitchen distracting.

I thought the service from start to finish was very good , the food was very good and no fault with any of the food in standard . I would go back to coate and have a meal again as i have no complaints on food and service in any way .

Had a later booking at 8.45pm was greeted very happily and shown to table, the waiter we had was very professional and open to advise with menu choices. The food came promptly and was cooked to perfection, I love a rare fillet steak and it was the best I’d had in a long time! Atmosphere was buzzing it was just a lovely experience and we will be back!

Consistently good service and the food is always very good

The occasion brought a cousin from the US to meet with the Welsh cousin. As a group we needed a quiet place to talk, good food and excellent service. That is what we had at Cotes.

Some bumps in the service and the staff went out of their way to make amends which we really appreciated- thank you and food was fabulous as always!

David was amazing and really helpful with his suggestions! The prestige menu choices were brilliant and everything was cooked to perfection. We will 100% be returning. Our galentines evening was amazing!

Great menu, tasty food, excellent gluten free choices. Great cheese. Nice atmosphere. Table for 2 a little small. Wine choices by the glass could be better.

Great food at a reasonable price, the staff a friendly and knowledgeable. A good range of French classics with a good wine list at reasonable prices. We will definitely be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. When I received my French cottage pie Parmentier the chef had not put in the meat filling..it was just mashed potato. The staff could not have been more helpful and apologetic. My meal was replaced quickly and we were then offered free drinks or desserts. When we politely declined the offers they cancelled the cost of my meal, both starter & main course (£11.50). This was extremely generous. I would strongly recommend a visit.

Main course disappointing, Paulette roti dry and pototesa not cooked properly, limited mustard sauce, seemed as if food had been precooked and standing for a while, very unlike the times we had visited before. Service good but food disappointing. Also sat in the middle of the restaurant where both tables were available, lacked ambiance. Very unlike our other visits.

The staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive. We choose ( four of us) the £19 set menu for three courses. The food was delicious, well presented and in sufficient quantities.. lovely ambiance supported by great staff, without exception.

My friends and I meet once a month for lunch and always come to Cote and always have a wonderful meal. The service is excellent and the atmosphere always convivial.

My friend and I enjoyed the place and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, my friend did not have the stake as requested but (to our surprised) the management decided to discount her food and desert as a gesture of good will. We were very surprised but thankful about this. The salad Had too much dressing on it, but we eat it. We are definitely going back to the restaurant. Staff was very nice and helpful.
