Excellent service and food , very enjoyable. Good choices on the gluten free menu and the wine / champagne is cold enough . Would highly recommend even for a mid week lunch/ dinner

Good food, lovely friendly staff, and it was a treat to be able to eat outside on a warm summer evening. The pre-7pm menu was great value for money.

Had fish as main course it was over cooked! The Creme caramel had a bitter topping to it! The service was very good! Atmostphere great!!

The food was excellent. I always love the escalope de veau, but this was the best ever. The salad could have done with more french dressing though.

Lovely meal and the staff were very pleasant and friendly. There is a special lunchtime menu as well if required. I had food from the gluten free menu and everything came with a gluten free flag on, so I was very well catered for having coeliac disease. The food was lovely. The only thing I didn't like was that a 12% gratuity charge had been entered on the bill. Not everyone would notice this. We asked for it to be removed and left the waiter a tip we could afford.

Small mistake with breakfast order took nearly 20 minutes to rectify. The Air conditioning was on so high food went cold very quickly. Happily affected breakfast was discounted from the bill.

Good food & good service The calamari was excellent & a good size portion. The belly pork was also excellent and very tasty. We had an enjoyable night

Food was great only reason didn't get full marks had to send chic fondant back as it was cold, staff dealt with it well though

Very central location for St Davids Hall and Motorpoint arena, providing a set menu with more than the normal Range of choices usually available for similar set menus. It's excellent value and there is an extensive wine list. Service is friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Excellent food as usual, something for everyone. Good service, even though I don't think the waiter believed us when we told him we were celebrating my birthday.. probably gets that all the time! No worries - still great food and wine.

We had a great meal in cote , superb service too so reassuring after our last experience and we would definitely return in the future

Food was really tasty and the choice on the menu was plentiful, something to suit everyone in our party of 9 people. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was very busy and the wait in between courses suited us as we were making a lazy afternoon of it. 😊

Great welcome. Good menu choice especially as I am gluten free because of Coeliac disease. Food presented and served nicely by pleasant staff. Got a little noisy, but was very busy. Good central venue

Slow service to start. About 15mins for drinks and 35mins for starters. Apart from that very good good and service. Friendly management that took the time to speak to us even tho very busy

Excellent evening for our wedding anniversary. Service was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. There was a large party next to us, which was noisy but overall it was a good experience.

Always lovely quality food and good friendly an efficient service. The early evening menu is also excellent value. Wine was good quality and reasonably priced also

Relaxed atmosphere with excellent and efficient service. Food was served promptly and was very good quality and freshly cooked. This restaurant has a typical French brasserie ambience about it and you could well feel you are sat in Paris. We will definitely eat here again.

the better of the brands currently in Cardiff but over priced I thought, for what we had? nicely cooked basic food, starter and dessert very small for the price?

The staff were pleasant and professional and the food was lovely. I have visited Le cote many times and it is always great. It is my favourite restaurant in Cardiff.

Lovely meal at reasonable prices. We booked in advance for a meal before a concert at the Principality stadium and glad we did as it was very full. We had the lunch time menu which had plenty of choice. Definitely recommend for a pre-concert treat

Food excellent and service was just right. Always love the steak frites and the creme caramel for dessert, please never change it. Would like better choice of wine by the glass.

Small portions for the price. Pierre bistro has almost identical food but is cheaper. Food and service was good. The mains were too small for me and annoying to have to pay extra for sides like salads or chips

Another fantastic meal at this restaurant. The Fish Soup is divine and the staff are excellent. Great atmosphere, fair pricing and can't wait to return.

Fine food with excellent service served in a lively, busy restaurant. Very enjoyable experience. The decor and , ambiance of the restaurant are ideal for enjoying dinner or a light meal. Great deals before 7pm.

Sadly during our visit there was a power failure so we could not complete our meal. It was stiflingly hot as the A/C was off and it was the hottest day of the year. The staff tried hard but very much against the odds. The food we did have was very good as usual and the experience will certainly not stop us revisiting one of our favourite restaurants

We were a group of 5 and each one of us had a delicious main and dessert and lovely wine. The service was excellent and very friendly.

My friends and I had set price lunch menu, a good selection of choices from starter, main and pudding - all very enjoyable and good value. Staff friendly, attentive to our needs but not intrusive. Busy but nice atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely food and great service. Good value set price pre-7pm supper. Nice interior and prompt delivery of the food which meant you were not worried about getting to the concert!

Friendly staff and the same good food I'm used to in other Côtes. I enjoyed the 10yr anniversary menu and my glass of champagne that came with it, my husband and me were shown to a lovely upstairs window table looking out onto the courtyards trees. A lovely evening meal. Thank you again for lovely evening.

As it was our first wedding anniversary, the staff greeted us and wished us a happy anniversary, followed by bringing us both a complimentary drink. The staff were friendly, attentive and the food was delicious.

Good food and service. Great location in Mill Lane in the centre of Cardiff. Perfect for sitting outside on a sunny day with a cold drink.

good - reliable meal, specials particularly good. some main courses lacked seasoning, particularly the fish Parmentier. A pre theatre menu would be a good option to consider
