Nice welcome . Set menu with a good choice. We were attending a concert and had limited time. The waitress was very accommodating in getting our food served quickly. Would definitely recommend .

Always a welcoming restaurant which serves good food well. Very pleasant staff and a menu which changes monthly makes this restaurant one of our all time favourites.

Never been in this Cote, normally go down the Bay. Service was fast and food was normal good quality. Very convenient when going to a show/ theatre. Good Value. Will go again.

We were a party of twelve today and the staff in the restaurant were very accommodating.They were so very helpful and the lunchtime menu food was first class.

Amazing service and lovely food. Nothing was too much trouble. Ramps ready by the door for the access of the wheelchair in our party. Excellent.

I would have given the highest score as the food was excellent, reasonably priced, etc. but we were rushed between courses. Our Starters arrived whilst we had only just received bread and olives and I had to ask them to delay our main course. Cote is not a fast food restaurant but that was the impression. Apart from that, everything else was great.

Food excellent, but approx 5 - 10 minute wait for side order which was explained as the chef being new. Would still recommend to friends & family however.

Once again we had a splendid meal despite it being Saturday evening and very busy. We don't live in Cardiff but when we visit for shopping Cote is our 'must go to' restaurant. The food is delicious, I can recommend the duck, and the staff always friendly and attentive. I look forward to our next visit.

Fantastic food as usual , staff can't do enough for you . Highly recommended for couples or families as there is a very relaxed atmosphere .

Great atmosphere, great staff, great food, one of the best places to eat in Cardiff with family, friends and for those romantic moments 10/10, will soon return.

The lunchtime meal was very tasty and the ambience in the restaurant was lovely. The service was spot on, we will definitely be going back again.

First class food ,well presented and tasty at a fair price. Fine dining at a budget price and served with civility by well mannered staff. Most enjoyable.

The staff as always were excellent, but my sister & I didn't enjoy the soup. It was tasteless & had too much olive oil on it. We had to add a lot of pepper & salt to make it edible.The steak was excellent & thanks for the beautiful bottle of gratis wine. We will be back again very soon. Regards. Wendy.

We were a party of four on Saturday night. We had the 10 year anniversary menu. It was excellent and really good value. This is the 4th or 5th time we have eaten at Cote Brasserie during the last few months and it has always been spot on!

We had a lovely evening. Complimentary Kir Royales as it was my birthday. Service was excellent, as always at this Côte. Overall the food was very nice - my duck was just how I like it. Only slight criticism was that my friend's Tuna Nicoise was let down by the tomatoes (not terribly tasty) and green beans (absence of!).

Côtes in Mill Street is one of my favourite places to eat and relax with family when in Cardiff. Great location, very French outside eating area under trees, fabulous service, lovely interior design, great food any time of day. Best breakfast in town.

Good food and wine. Excellent service. Dishes put together with Gallic flare. Prices reasonable. Hard to think of another restaurant chain that does this type of meal better.

This restaurant has gone down since our last visit. My son ordered a steak to be cooked medium rare it came well done. It was replaced by a thin piece of frying steak which looked and tasted awful. That was also sent back and he ordered the duck. By the time it came out myself and daughters in law had almost finished our meals. The duck meal had just been thrown together and this was particularly disappointing as we were celebrating my son's birthday!! A discount which we had asked for was applied however this did not compensate for what should have been a lovely birthday evening. We will not be returning.

Our main choice for lunch when I meet my friends. Ambient restaurant with attentive staff. Menu changes seasonally. Food very good, and at lunch and early evening is very good value for money. Have also eaten later in the evening from the main menu. Always a good atmosphere in the restaurant.

Super service on a very busy day. Food was outstanding, definite return visit for another day. It's always amazing French food at good value. Keep it up

Excellent calamari and duck breasts with cherries. Still a bit too pink as asked for it to be medium. Very good spinach and gratin potatoes. Good rose wine from Provence. Excellent service by waitress from Romania. Only thing was we were charged for the anniversary meal and mine was just calamari and duck breast. I don't drink champagne and never eat more than two courses. My husband's veal was a bit tough. We requested air con turned off as it was cold on arrival which they did.

My second visit not as good as the first. There seemed to be a shortage of staff as the restaurant was very busy. I would even go as far as to say some staff seemed uncertain as to what they should be doing. My side salad arrived after I had finished my meal so asked them to take it off the bill. I did receive a free coffee for the mistake. I also asked for ketchup which did not materialise. The chairs were not the most comfortable having sat on a padded seat along the wall on my first visit.

Extremely slow service, was in a rush due to graduation. Was not busy but we spent two and a half hours in there in total.

Food was amazing as usual but, it's the staff that make it good. They are very pleasant and seem to enjoy their jobs. Alas happy that the tips go to the hard working staff. Will be returning.

Lunchtime meal with my niece and her partner who were going to Coldplay concert. It was extremely busy but the service and food were excellent. The atmosphere was good. It was the first time my niece and been to a Cotes restaurant and she loved it and can't wait to visit again.

Bizarrely on entering the restaurant the girl on the desk tried to send us to sit upstairs on our own even though we had booked a table and the ground floor seating was half empty?

Lovely to be able to eat delicious, safe, gluten free food. Gluten free flags are very reassuring to a Coeliac who always has concerns when eating out. Restaurant staff are knowledgeable and provide excellent service.
