Great food and great service made for a brilliant meal after my Dad, Brother and I had just had to sit through Scotland getting thrashed by Wales at the rugby. A cracking evening and we will certainly be back.

Although I turned up early and had booked for two they very kindly found us a table for three as my friends wife joined us at the last minute. Very helpful and courteous.

Great location in the centre of Cardiff, ideal for shopping before/after meal. The food is fabulous, the staff are very friendly and we would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Friendly welcome and excellent service and ambience. We all enjoyed our meals. Only slight negative was my starter of warmed dressed leeks with egg. Not enough of the tough outer leaves had been removed from the leeks, Had also expected a warm rather than a cold egg. However flavour was good but just had a bit of food envy at the alternative starters my fellow diners were enjoying! The steaks that followed were excellent. The whole meal was excellent value for money and we'll certainly be returning.

Delicious food, attentive staff and reasonable prices. I always enjoy a visit to Côte. This time I sampled the venison cottage pie and it was excellent.

I often frequent Cote In Cardiff , either with my partner or with my friend.....and enjoy the ambience, service and delicious food. Always a pleasure.

Great service. My spinach and Gruyere crepes were disappointingly sloppy and not good value and were taken off the bill, which was appreciated. My partner's steak frites was lovely! Will return, maybe won't have the crepes......

As usual my husband and I had a fantastic meal at the Cote Brasserie in central Cardiff. The food was superb as always. Can't wait for our next trip to Cardiff and Cote naturally!!

Brilliant service, great food, quiet early Sunday evening. Try the Fish Pie - AMAZING!! As always, the Steak Frites was also spot on. We'll be back.

The food and the ambience were both very good. There was a wide choice on the a la carte and specials menus. The service was very attentive but a little too rushed. Ovrrall though it was a very enjoyable experience.

Good service and food, but 12.5% service added to the bill just takes the edge off the experience though, especially on the breakfast menu, you do feel obliged to pay although it states optional.

Our meal was very nice, & will return, but thought that the surcharge of 12.5% was far too high....... £25 for a table of 6 is very cheeky

Visited Cardiff central after a previous disappointing visit to Cardiff Bay Côte. This time service was excellent and food was hot and tasty, can't ask for more than that! We will return

Pleasant helpful staff. Food always prepared and served well. Occasionally some food choices are removed from the menu as they prove to be very popular. I always enjoy my experience at Cote restaurants and will visit again in the near future.

Cote Central never disappoints. Buzzy atmosphere. Great attentive unrushed service. Delicious food. Nice wines. Reasonably priced. Cote Rewards programme provides great incentive to go If above not enough!

The Cote is consistently excellent: reliable but never boring. The atmosphere was spoiled by squawking children in pushchairs but apart from that it was perfect.

Amazing service from our waiter, came to us promptly and made sure we had drinks quickly etc. Food came in good time and was really delicious

Went for my 21st birthday. Staff were incredible and so friendly, even offered me a complementary drink. Food was divine, definitely recommend the pork belly. Can't wait to go back

We chose lunch from the A la Carte menu and took advantage of the January offer of a free bottle of wine. My salad with goats cheese and roasties was delicious, though onions were undercooked. My husband's confit of duck was really good. Cote is one of the few places where I can get a really nice salad as a main course.

Amazing food. Wine was exquisite! Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Waiter was great and catered to our every need. Highly recommended and will most definitely be visiting again!

First time we had visited any cote restaurant . It was fantastic, wonderful food, freshly cooked, excellent service and relaxed 😌 we were so impressed we booked two evenings in a row! Def need one on our area 👍

Côte cater very well for someone like myself, with Coeliac Disease. Full menu available with a wide choice that should suit most tastes. The service was friendly and efficient which married well with the good food to make for an enjoyable experience

The food was great, however the service let the experience down. No request for sides when taking orders. the waiter had to be called back. Waitress continued to lean across a few of the guests to collect plates without any need. Atmosphere is great and the décor.

Service and food good. Not a problem. Just felt a little rushed. Would like to be offered where to sit as there was plenty of room but was placed on table against the wall which gives less room for manouvere. Happy with experience though.

We had a very pleasant evening in a Cote Brasserie Cardiff. The staff were friendly and helpful without being too over attentive. We ate from the a la Carte and as ever the food was tasty and of good quality.

I found the restaurant friendly and the service was great! They looked after my pregnant friend and she felt comfortable. I would of thought they would have given us a better table, as she was pregnant, and we were right in the middle with people pushing past, they could of had more options on the set menu .

Fantastic food and service, but remember there is a service charge. We always tip well for good service, but with a service charge you don’t always know the tip has gone to the right person. Dan looked after us and was very good. The food was fresh and well prepared we will go again

Excellent meal. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Just one thing. Gin and tonic should not be served in a thick water tumbler. My wife and I tipped our drinks into the water tumblers provided on the table - which were shaped and thin glass - much nicer. We will definitely visit this restaurant more often. Thanks

It was a very pleasant evening. The staff are attentive without being intrusive. The food and the wine were excellent and it felt like we were being spoilt. I would definitely recommend Cote Brasserie. Only slight complaint is the size of the table which was a bit small but not really an issue.

Spent a lovely evening here with old friends. I had the beuof borginion which was delicious and so tender. Followed by an oozing chocolate fondant. Delicious!

Excellent meal and service-enhanced by the bottle of wine offered as a Loyalty promotion. Zoltan our waiter was excellent and the whole experience was enjoyable from start to finish.

Service is always good at Cote. Quality of food is consistently good. The main course was delivered after a lengthy delay, however without any prompting they acknowledged it and offered dessert on the house. So we shall return.
