Fabulous food and impeccable service. A good variety and choice of menu. Very welcoming staff and a friendly atmosphere in stylish surroundings. Best place to eat in Cardiff.

Very helpful, friendly staff for whom nothing was too difficult. We arrived at the wrong time, but were treated kindly, found a table and looked after . All with good, straightforward French cooking and well served wine. We had a lovely night.

Very good food for a very reasonable price. The only downside was that the (very tasty) desserts took rather a long time to arrive, probably because the venue was very busy.

We asked for our hot drinks to be served with our meal, unfortunately by the time our food arrived most people had finished them as they would have gone cold otherwise! The food is nice but the drinks are very small, presumably in an attempt to get you to order more. A shame really as felt a bit cheated '

Another excellent meal with very good service. We were warmly greeted on arrival and shown to our table. The Cote de Rhone was excellent as was the food apart from one of the steak frites which arrived cold and over cooked. As stated by the waiter it was supposed to be pink! The replacement arrived very quickly and was perfect. In fairness the cost of this meal was removed from the bill. This was much appreciated. Overall very and we will return. Recommended.

Two course lunch at £11.90 delicious chicken but had to pay extra £2.95 for frites, creme caramel was outstanding. Small glass of wine £5.35 so not an inexpensive lunch!

First time at this restaurant but the quality was the same as other Cote that we have visited. Good welcome. Food served quickly but when we indicated we were not in a hurry that pace was a bit more relaxed.

Excellent food and atmosphere. The service by Samantha was outstanding. She was very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much for her. A definite asset to the establishment.

Friendly staff and superb food. The menu offers a wide choice and the ambience and service is great. However, ne sure to book, especially on Saturdays.

Girls catch up night. Good atmosphere. Food great. Staff good our particular waiter could have been a little friendlier! Would definitely go back and recommend.

Everything was perfect from food to service we were not rushed and although it was busy we were will looked after would certainly be going to Cotes again

Very impressed with the quality of the food and the efficient and friendly service, we were served quickly, and dietary requirements were catered for correctly. We enjoyed our visit.

Great service and as usual the food was excellant. The specials were very tasty and we all had great steaks which we all enjoyed. Good selection of drinks and desserts so highly recommend this one!

Really rushed service, main ciurse was brought out within at least five minutes of ordering and was tasteless. We were in and out within 40 minutes.

Food was ok and service was good. However I don't agree with the 12.5 service charge they add on to bill. In our case it was nearly £11!! I think it should be up to individual whether you tip or not and although it's meant to be ' optional' I doubt many people query it and just pay up.

Great food, prompt service with a comfortable atmosphere before the Wales V France game. The steak was cooked perfectly but the duck was over cooked. Overall, we really enjoyed. Hope to visit again soon. Thank you

Love the restaurant. Good food and efficient and friendly staff. All down to a very professional manager. As I’m normally the bossy organiser it’s my favourite place to take friends and family. I organise my French class parties and my group of tennis ladies parties and they all love it.

Staff were excellent. Very courteous and attentive. The food was very tasty however was just not enough of it. Was a combined Mother's Day/pre rugby meal for the Wales v Italy match. Four of us had various meals, steak, beef bourginon, chicken and mussels followed by four sweets. The size of the meal was very disappointing and when we arrived at the rugby match immediately after the restaurant, we were still hungry so ended up purchasing food. We have had meals at many Cote Brasserie restaurants however this meal was very disappointing and it is very unlikely that we would return. It cannot be right to leave a restaurant hungry. If you are looking for a filling and substantial meal, would recommend not attending the Cote Brasserie in Cardiff.

The staff were absolutely fabulous. It was a busy Mother's day and Rugby day and they were cheerful, funny and helpful. Food was fab too

Staff very efficient and friendly . Menu varied and I consider it to be good value for money . Ask to sit upstairs by the window !

Lovely food and service - the staff are friendly and food is consistant. I dont liked the new music system installed at can be loud and music some what unsuitable in my opinion. A customer who absolutely loves Cote.

Great service. Food imaginative. Would have got full marks but main course served lukewarm. This was dealt with by the maitre d'. Will not detract from our liking of the concept and food. Service always top notch.

This restaurant is consisent in its presentation, friendliness of staff and quality of food. In the Summer it is lovely to sit on the terrace on Mill Lane soaking up the atmosphere.

The food was delicious, absolutely brilliant, but it wasn't unique. It was just lovely food you could get anywhere from any chain. The manager wasn't the friendliest, considering our order had been delayed and we were waiting for half an hour for our main, but the waiter who told us was delightful. It was a pleasant enough meal out, but not the best.

Busy but as usual did not disappoint shown to our table early everything delicious staff helpful and attentive went for a dessert this evening the profiteroles enough for two!!!make room

Really enjoyed the food and the staff were exceptional. Only gripe is every one was huddled together at the front of the restaurant when there were plenty of tables free in the room. Strong smell of bleach as we came in that lifted a little during the meal. It was a birthday lunch so I was a bit disappointed with the experience. I have visited before and had a lovely table and experience.

Love Côte it’s consistently good, staff are first class. Excellent value for money! Both had Steak and it was so tender and delicious and I just love the coupe du noir a simple but delightful desert. We eat here regularly when in Cardiff

As always very good staff and food as well as catering for my GF needs. My friend and I will return, because . I know that I will enjoy the experience of dining in your restaurant.

Fantastic experience and great meal but service charge was excessive.Would have preferred to tip waiting staff direct. Will definitely return for another occasion.Great stuff thanks.
