Clean, good menu and food; and a warm atmosphere. Pleasant and friendly staff. A bottle of wine incorrectly added to the bill and waiting for drinks that didn't come and needed reminding twice.

Excellent food and service as usual. The restaurant was busy but the waiter s appeared relaxed and helpful. This has become our go to place for a night out in Cardiff.

Being there on a Monday meant that there wasn’t the usual “buzz” about the place, but everything else was up to the usual high standard. It so good to get a chance to eat quality food, don’t thenkind that we would be unlikely to prepare at home, for such a reasonable price. It comes in at around the £40 mark for two, including a drink and you’re service charge, you’re there before 7pm.

A cousin from the States was visiting her Welsh cousins. We needed good food, non intrusive service and a quiet place to talk. Cotes provided all of these points.

My wife and have regular customer to this restaurant, we took along some of our friends who had never been, they were very impressed. Excellent food and attention to dietary/food allergies. 5stars

We always enjoy Cote at Cardiff Bay but tried Cardiff Central for a change. We weren’t disappointed and as ever the three course set lunch was excellent value and delicious. A very fussy child enjoyed every course.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The service was attentive and helpful. My food was fab but husband not so happy with his food choice as he felt it was more commercial than is usually found at Cotes. However, when next in Cardiff we will be back!

Brilliant service on a VERY busy rugby international day. Food spot-on, wine great. Have previously used this restaurant on many occasions and will continue to do so in the future.

A regular customer as the staff are great and food consistent. If they do get it wrong they sort out.

Felt that we were sat too close to the table next to us (so we could hear all of their conversation). Asked to move one table over but was told that was booked

Our recent experience was up to usual very high standards of both food and service. We have eaten here on many occasions, and continue to choose to go back. If you eat before 7pm there is a very good value set menu. Furthermore, the "Prestige" set menu is also very good value.
