Lovely service. Very attentive and professional waitress (Cardiff central). Food tasty.

Good food with excellent service from experienced staff. Sat upstairs which sadly seemed very noisy. An added bonus a member of staff kindly allowed us to use the lift instead of the stairs. We have eaten here often and pleased to say it never disappoints.

Went to Cote Sunday 8th of july for my boyfriends 30th with some friends, had dropped off some decorations earlier that day and when we arrived the table was beautifully set up the staff at Cote did everything perfectly. The service was amazing as usual and the food absolutely delicious, we just had the best evening. Special compliments to Samantha who i always have the pleasure of seeing when im there, she really looks after us, so smiley and lovely, such an infectious personality, and always remembers us everytime we come back .

Our party of four all enjoyed great food, with excellent service. A very enjoyable evening.

We booked for the early evening set menu before going to a show in St David's. There was a good variety on the menu and we were delighted with our choices. The food was well presented and delicious, and complimented by a lovely bottle of rose. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I'd go back again in a heartbeat.

Have been to this restaurant many times and the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Quality of food remains consistently good and we enjoyed a very pleasant bottle of house wine with our meal. Staff were attentive and friendly ensuring we had a most enjoyable evening.

Really love this Cote. Never get a bad meal. The manager (I think?!) with the burgundy trousers is just lovely every time. He suggested a lovely off menu rose for me and was so helpful. Will always recommend this place to friends.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and allowed us to stay for quite some time without hurrying us. Everyone in my group enjoyed the food with a lot of choice on the menu. Also the G and T was amazing!

The food was excellent, the 2 waiters were very friendly but were over zealous giving us the impression that we were being rushed. For example our main courses arrived just as we were finishing our starters. The evening was affected when 2 groups of fairly loud people were seated near us after we had begun our meal.

I cancelled a booking elsewhere as I can’t stand overly fussy food with ingredients I have never heard of. Cote always delivers on taste without being pretentious! The food was great and the service was outstanding.

Sad to say a very poor experience based on eating outside. Food was fine but service was let down by a waitress (grey dress) who seemed to have a very superficial manner when dealing with people. False manner. Many huge seagulls swept down to eat off a plate at a table near us which had not been cleared. She said yes yes I'll deal with it when we mentioned it and left it for a further 5 mins before just placing a napkin over the plate. After this we did not appreciate it when she handed us our bill and said very loudly "your bill without gratuities". Very sarcastic attitude. Final straw the bill was incorrect and had to be amended and again a false brightness. She could have an oscar for acting. Couldn't wait to leave. Will not return. I never write poor reviews but this was terrible. Its very simple to fix. Clear tables ! And educate your staff in customer service

Cannot fault Côte Brasserie (Cardiff Central) in any way. Excellent service, food out of this world and great value for money. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Taken to our table and left far too long until we were offered a menu and our drinks order was taken. Service was poor.

Everything was lovely, food was delivered quickly and very tasty, the wrong coffee was delivered to the table, bit apart from that it was very nice.

Service was very poor. Restaurant was not full but not enough staff to service all tables. Food took a long time and half of it was cold. Not impressed.

Food and service was great, as usual. However,I booked via the offer of complimentary negroni and we weren't offered any. Slightly disappointing.

It was very pleasant sitting outside in good weather. I didn’t enjoy my meal as much as previous ones. I ordered steak frites. The steak was not very tender and was over cooked. The portion of frites was rather mean in size I thought. If I visited again I would order something different.

Unfortunately on this visit, food was like warm at best. Desert sent back as stone cold, replaced for free but still barely warm. Not what we’re used to here.

Excellent food, ambience and service. I love Côte in Cardiff. This is the third time I have dined here when have stayed in Cardiff. It has never disappointed. Thoroughly recommended. This time I brought my wife too and she was similarly impressed. My steak was delicious and beautifully cooked.

Excellent service, the staff were super helpful with our wheelchair requirements. The food was delicious and great value for money. Our only disappointment was the bill, it included an extra bottle of wine, good job we were vigilant!
