Really tasty! Only bad point was they run out of potatoes to go with the duck!!! Soup was amazing and the dessert platter even better

Great breakfast in a great location on a Wales match day

The quality of the food was very good and our server was helpful, attentive and cheery. We weren't impressed however by the Valentine's menu. Having opted for the 14oz chateaubriand to share we were disappointed to see that not only was it served already plated (and not "to share" as advertised) but that the size was certainly not 7oz each. We were also upset at the dessert to share; it was as advertised, did not match up to the photos on the website and had individual items missing.

We are regular visitors and spend a significant amount. On this occasion, as usual, food and service great. However, when ordering more cocktails we were told we needed to vacate our table in 15 minutes. We asked if we could move but told fully booked. There are tables upstairs! This would never happen when Sam Thomas was manager; she is now across the road at the Ivy where we spent the rest of the evening. We may chose to eat there instead in future.

Absolutely loved our experience with Cote Cardiff Central. Food was exquisite and the staff were just amazing so attentive and friendly could not do enough for us and took the time to chat whilst serving so many others. We will definitely be visiting you again and could you say a huge thank you to them for us. Best regards Debs

Once again, my husband and I had a wonderful evening at Cote. Excellent service from the minute we stepped through the until we left. I am even more delighted about coming here because the chicken is Free Range (so the waiter told me) and they provide Free Filtered Water:) It always feels very special coming here....we will definitely be returning in the not too distant future. We chose Cote for our Valentine’s Day meal as we have never been let down by the atmosphere, service and most importantly he food. On this occasion, we felt that the valentines menu could have been better and also the quality of food wasn’t at the standard that we have come to expect of cote.

Overall I really liked the atmosphere and the service of this restaurant, but the main course I had of the Valentine's menu - Poulet Rôti - was nothing special, like a meal that I could have cooked at home.

As always, the food and service were exceptional. We have been to cote many many times, it is always our go to place for any meal out. I don't think I have ever had a bad meal there. The steaks are exceptional and desserts are the best of any restaurant I have ever been to. That coupled with the service means I will always recommend cote to any friends looking for a place to eat.

Asked for marmalade to have with our toast but was told they don’t have marmalade only jam, thought toast and marmalade went together also asked for one slice of toast but told you have to have two as that is the portion So disappointed although the food and service was good don’t think we will return

Spoiled by being seated on what looked like a garden bench. The bench was too low and had a very thin cushion on which to sit. Staff were very good, menu excellent. Chicken too dry.

Superb. Everything was just right. Delicious, properly French food (I lived in France for years), warm welcome, and everyone who served us or took our orders could not have been more helpful and efficient and could not do enough for us. Tables not squashed together. The prices are excellent, particularly for the standard of food. Having been to a few Cotes and Cardiff Cote on a few occasions I enjoy it so much, and nowhere else matches up the their very high sandard. that I can't really see the point in ever eating anywhere else.

Always a good experience & well priced early evening menu.

Table was booked in advance as it was 6 Nations Rugby opening day. Restaurant was very busy but staff were brilliant. We were quickly seated and the baby chair requested in advance was provided. We had one meal that was not up to the usual standard and this was immediately changed to another meal at no charge. Excellent service.

Considering it was a rugby international day, everything was excellent

Within sitting down and ordering we received our starter within 5 minutes which was amazing, one minute after finishing they cleared the table and served our main meal which was a 20 out of 10 again once finished the table was cleared to summarise the meal was amazing and the service was even better

We dine in Cote once every couple of months, food and service in Cardiff is always really good and real value for money.. Highly recommend.

Once again a fabulous meal and friendly staff just wish you would open in Swansea or mumbles. There is a premises in SA1 Swansea the J Shed that has become available which would be perfect for cote. So I wouldn’t have to travel to cardiff
