Excellent service and great staff on a very busy match day in Cardiff. Great atmosphere. Food great would definitely recommend this branch of Cote Brasserie .

We arrived to discover that due to a power cut the restaurant was closed. The waiter was not very apologetic, said I had been phoned to let know and when I said I hadn’t received a phone call argued with me and wasted time looking on the computer for proof when obviously we just wanted to move on to another restaurant to find a table to eat. Very poor customer service. Disappointing as usually Cote is good.

My husband, daughter and I went to Cardiff Christmas shopping today and as usual booked to have a meal in Cote Brasserie . Our table was ready for us and the staff gave us a warm welcome. Our meals as always were delicious. Thank you once again Cote. We shall definitely see you very soon.

On top form today .Excellent food and service.The staff are friendly and welcoming but also very efficient.There is a good choice of food on the menu.

Expensive,but a very nice meal and atmosphere. Taking into account it was a rugby week,the service could be improved and did not justify a 12% service change. ( we paid) May consider another visit.

Lovely food and great service especially with regards to choices of wine. Only criticism is that I was the first to arrive in my party and sat there for a good 10 minutes but no-one came to ask Me if I would like to order a drink. I had to flag some one down in the end to request one

We have eaten at Cote several times, in different cities and towns, and have never been disappointed. The staff are welcoming, polite, and attentive. The restaurants are always clean, proper napkins ! On this occasion we had the pre theatre menu, which was excellent value for money. The drinks and food came really quickly, before we made our way to the theatre. On another occasion, the speed with which the food came out would have been too quick, and we have before had to ask that we have a pause between courses. Overall, a great place to eat, and will be going again - and again.

Booking on line was first class , I got the time I wanted straight away. On arrival we received a warm friendly greeting and were shown straight to our table. Attentive waiters served us excellent food , Cote is my go to restaurant in Cardiff.

Staff were excellent very attentive and pleasant. On a very busy evening did not wait long to be served. The food was very good. Have eaten in cote before but in a London cote restaurant, Cardiff was very good

Tasty food and excellent service. We booked in for lunch before an international and they coped well with the numbers and sent us on our way in good time.

Tasty french influenced food chosen from a good choice menu together with good service and super staff who are always efficient and friendly. Several menus to choose from depending on time of day and month. Good quality wines.

The food was good. A good specials menu. Service was also very good. It is a very noisy venue but, I guess that is down to location and the building itself.

We had such a wonderful experience during our visit on 13th Nov, we decided to dine again the following night. This time we chose from the standard menu and once again all 6 of us were delighted with the wonderful delicious food and excellent service.

Excellent food and generally excellent service from friendly staff. Only thing that slightly let them down was the unavailability of cafetieres which resulted in the mix up of some of the drinks . Overall though a very good experience, happy to recommend and looking forward to a return to try the dinner menu.

First class meal which on a rugby international day is a bonus. Had the table for as long as we wanted and had very good service too. All round great choice.

Food excellent. The service was also excellent. This was a rugby weekend so coping with a huge number of customers was a challenge but staff coped wonderfully.

Usual high quality from Cote at a particularly busy post rugby match evening in Cardiff. I would recommend the Steak with Béarnaise sauce and the chocolate mousse

We were a party of 8 and for 6 of us it was the first meal at Côte. We all ate from the Christmas menu and everyone thought the food was delicious. We had excellent service from the delightful lady who took care of us and the rest of the staff. A wonderful experience. Many thanks for making this such a special evening.

Our first visit here, lovely decor and great atmosphere! Although the restaurant was very busy, our order arrived swiftly. The steak was beautifuly tender and I didn't even need a steak knife! My partners cod goujons were also very tasty. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again!

Arranged a meal for a party of 8 discerning friends. We all enjoyed the quality of the food, service and the ambience of the restaurant.

Excellent meal as always. Friendly, helpful staff equals good service. I do think, however that adding 12 and a half percent service charge is a little steep. This is optional though and we paid ten percent approx instead. Watch out for this on your bill. Excellent choices on menu and something for everyone. The fish is good, likewise the chicken. This is my favourite restaurant for a quality lunch at a very reasonable price.

Staff were friendly and the service was timely and the food was excellent . Given it was a busy international Saturday it was an enjoyable experience.

Despite being a busy saturday night the food and service were excellent. The steaks were especially highly praised and the matching red winw was very good value.

Usually have a positive experience however this time we waited a long time for our dirty plates to be collected then when we asked for the bill waited a good 15 minutes before a card machine was bought over to us.

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Food was of a good standard . First course we ordered pate and prawns although pate was delicious the prawn dish contained a little too much chilli for my taste.For mains we ordered the fish pie which was very well seasoned, full of flavour and an excellent choice. Will be back.

Great early evening set menu, lots of choice and excellent value for money for three courses! Great choice of drinks too! The service was prompt but not rushed.

The food was well presented and tasted delicious. Recommend the poulet, from the November specials light menu. Service was very good, with friendly and efficient staff. Conveniently situated, and great for a pre - event meal at St David’s Hall.

Good quality, tasty food and wine served in authentic French bistro setting. Service pleasant and unrushed. Reasonable value though I thought chef could have been a bit more generous with the Toulouse sausage in the casserole!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were made to feel welcome. The food was absolutely beautiful and service was pleasant and relatively quick. This was my second time visiting but first time with family, however I would definitely return and so would the others who dined with me.

Good English breakfast except back bacon was very over cooked and therefore hard. My Eggs Benedict had a tarragon flavoured sauce which is a bearnaise not hollandaise sauce, a strange mistake from a French restaurant. Good service and ambience.

Everything was wonderful, food and service excellent. Only one negative, the service charge was, in our view, excessive. We wanted to leave a generous tip but felt the amount on the bill was too much. When asked, the waiter removed it.

Once again excellent service, great atmosphere and wonderful food, I had the chicken my husband the fillet steak, both were really enjoyable.The restaurant was buzzing with everyone seeming to be enjoying themselves.

Food wasn’t even hot. I had the sit there in my coat as the air con was blasting whilst it was freezing outside but they refused to turn it off. 12.5% service charge is absolute daylight robbery. Would never go back & telling my friends to stay away. I come here on the Saturday 28/11/17
