10% service charge was a bit of a cheek. Pay enough as it is. Had a nice meal though. Steak was lovely and tender.. but only came with a few fries and bit of lettuce 🙁

Usual excellent standard of food and service , never lets you down , can’t really say more . Best chain restaurant around , eaten in many and always same excellent standard

Lovely starter. Breaded chicken for mains. Very nice. No carbohydrates with it. Ordered fries on the side. Shouldn’t have to. Should be a balanced meal. Lovely wine 🍷 and good service.

Lovely restaurant in the centre of Cardiff. The food was excellent as was the service. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. An excellent experience and worth visiting.

Excellent customer service, excellent food, good choice of wine and a complimentary glass of Kir Royal. The restaurant is very elegant but it is a bit of a trek to the toilets.

The service was good but the food was not up to its usual standard. Disappointing as I took some friends there for the first time and they were not impressed.

Always enjoy visiting Cötes Brasserie, we love the food and the service is first class. First choice when choosing a restaurant . Have also converted friends to enjoy the Cötes experience.

Service was excellent and the food was very tasty. The lunchtime menu is good value . We were not rushed which was exactly what the party wanted. I would definitely return for the same sort of group.

Surprised, the food especially the French Onion Soup was warm but not really hot and on such a cold night that would have been welcome.

The food at Cote - both savoury and sweet - is presented beautifully and tastes delicious. The monthly special choices keep the main and set menu fresh, and the service is always impeccable.

Had the two course set lunch menu which was very good value for money. Food came quickly and was very tasty. Friendly and attentive staff. Would return.

First time visit to a Cote and it was a Lovely enjoyable and relaxing meal. I would come back here again and I would definitely recommend.

Had a family dinner. An average meal, very slow service. Gratuity IS optional - so, don't include in the bill for patrons to awkardly ask for it to be removed. If service and food are worth the while, patrons WILL give the gratuity...just don't pre-include.

Usual good food well prepared and presented. Staff very welcoming. Good experience for my family. Varied menu with good choices and offers before peak time.

As always fabulous food, excellent service from professional, friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble from all staff. Our favourite place to dine when I can get my ladies together.

We had a brilliant night here. The food was excellent very tasty and tender enjoyed every bite. Booking again for March after the rugby to celebrate a Welsh win. Only one request for some rose^ wine to be put on the menu. Must not forget the staff very professional and helpful.

It would have been good to have some salad / veg included with the steak, and potatoes with the fish. Also rather a noisy environment.

Really great gluten free options. Thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate mouse for dessert. Stunning coq au vin for main. My husband really enjoyed the venison pie he had too! Thank you for a good meal x

The restaurant was busy/buzzing but unfortunately we were seated upstairs - much quieter than downstairs and lacking in atmosphere. Despite this food and service good.

Didn’t get the servers name but he has a broken wrist! My girlfriend and I dined on Thursday night for our anniversary! Excellent service, our waiter gave recommendations on wine and food and the food was out standing! Lovely atmosphere and all of the staff and management where very friendly!

Fab meal as always. Had the set menu- blood orange salad and chicken along with the nicest chocolate mousse. Huge portion of the mousse. Service was great as well

I had booked a table for 5 people for breakfast. The service was excellent and the waiter very polite and helpful. Although we all quite enjoyed the food - it was all served cool to cold. The poached eggs that 3 of us had on various dishes were hard done - not lovely and soft as they should have been. The holandaise sauce was far too thick and it was served as a solid lump which had to be spread like butter rather than poured over the food. Not up to the Cote's usual standard - but the coffee was lovely and strong. Would not put me off but if it was served like this again I would complain and not return.

Great service, great food for a really good price and we had a lovely evening there. It wasn't really loud like some restaurants and we had plenty of space from other tables.

Staff always very helpful and obliging and willingly made adjustments to our order when requested. Quality of food very good but did find the breakfast sausage quite spicy..

Good, friendly welcome at Côte in Cardiff Mill Lane. Pace of service is good where you can order and you don’t feel rushed. As always with Côte, the food is very flavoursome and satisfying

An excellent choice of restaurant, I would highly recommend, especially for 5he lunch/early evening menu. It's very good value for money and very convenient for shopping.

Excellent service from the lovely waitress (sorry can’t remember her name but she was going on holiday to a surprise location).... fantastic food.. would recommend the beef bourginon... only downside are the toilets which are situated up some very steep stairs, a fair distance away from the main dining room.

Booked this earlier in the week due to the rugby being on that weekend. It was not full when we arrived. We were taken to our table straight away. We had a short wait to order our drinks. My self and my wife order the steak. It was the worst meal I have had. The steak was tough as old boots. I have eaten at the Chester restaurant many times and the food is always of a high standard.

Excellent customer service. Our main course venison was over-cooked; it was replaced immediately without question and we were given a complimentary bottle of wine by the waitress. The manager also came to our table to apologise. Why aren’t all restaurants like this? We’ll be back!

Friendly and efficient service. Fish Permenter dish appeared with less fish pieces, more prawns now added;together with more sauce. Disappointed compared with this menu 2027.
