Excellent food. Very friendly staff. Good choice on menu for all courses. Been there many times never been disappointed . Near to shops railway station great location. Watch for service charge added to bill but can choose not to pay it. Booked again for next week.

Experienced and helful staff , food served very promptly and well cooked. We have been using this restaurant for a number of years and will continue to do so. Our waitress was very pleasant and efficient.

Friendly,efficient staff. Restaurant clean and comfortable, food well cooked and very tasty. Manager was most helpful and attentive explained the new Cote reward system which we will certainly look out for.

First of all the food tasted wonderful and the service was quick, you weren’t left waiting long for your order. Fairly reasonable prices also, would recommend.

Perfect, as always. Excellent food, comfortable surroundings, and attentive staff. Interesting varied menu which changes from month to month, with authentic French cooking and ingredients.

Normally have fantastic service in Côte but was really disappointed. I had told them in advance that I would like to use my birthday offer of free kir royals for me and my guests but the waiter fussed so much about it I said don’t worry about it-it was actually a bit embarrassing. Then when the bill came they got the amount wrong twice. Not as good as usual!

Really friendly service. Bill was wrong at the end but instantly sorted out. Only criticism is the "optional gratuity" of 12.5%. Happy to leave a tip but it should be at our discretion. Very difficult not to if something was not quite right.

Excellent food with French flair, staff polite but friendly. In relation to the steak they do an excellent fillet which also offers good value for money

Good menu and service. Busy restaurant that put some pressure on staff but overall they seemed to cope well. Good gluten free menu for those interested.

Warm welcome, excellent food as always. We chose the set menu which was fantastic value with a good range of choices. We will return again.

Great food, pleasant atmosphere. Particularly enjoyed the steak and frites. Service generally good although did have to ask for our coffee again, apart from that staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great atmosphere loads on a Sunday night warm welcome had lovely window seat very tasty food and great value for money and wine excellent will be back soon for another treat

Another good couple of hours being wined, dined and made very welcome as always. Staff and food continue to excel and we shall return again.

We were warmly welcomed back by the manager, which was lovely. As usual the early evening menu delivered excellent food at very reasonable cost. This is food you - or certainly we - don’t cook at home. It’s delicious. What’s more, the service is quick and friendly. I have never had to think twice about paying the service charge that they automatically add to the bill. We’ll be back!

Fantastic food once again in Cote. You can always rely on getting excellent service too. Highly recommend Cote wherever you are. Roasted sea bream with fennel is my ultimate favourite.

Atmosphere and food good, service was prompt but forgot one item on the order. Very convenient for shows and concerts, reasonable value. Will definitely go again.

The welcome was excellent as was the manner of dealing with the ever growing number in our party, eleven in the end. The food was delicious but was slightly erratic in delivery probably due the size of our group. We will almost certainly return again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Food was excellent, especially the risotto and the cream caramel! The staff are all so friendly and helpful, and service superb. We all will be back again soon. Also very good value lunch menu!

The meal was beautiful and service was fantastic however I do think the drinks are way overpriced for what they are. Friends were charged over £8 for 2 very small bottles of lager which I thought was way overpriced! Other than that, it was fantastic!

Food was lovely as always, we went for a special occasion, but felt we were very rushed. Starters arrived 5 minutes after ordering them, the wine, bread and finger bowls came after the food was placed in front of us. Just felt rushed on this occasion.

Splendid service, food and always very good value. A most enjoyable evening once again. The range of courses and combinations is a core benefit of Cote restaurants..

Food OK but slow service. Breton chicken is their staple . French onion soup was too thick . Overall a reasonable value for money evening.

First time visiting Cardiff, we went there for the evening and had the prestige menu, it was delicious and great service. Staff were friendly, helpful and the food was very enjoyable.

An excellent meal with good wine once again at Cote. Well worth trying the fillet steak with bearnaise sauce. Lovely ambience with attentive and polite service. Never disappoints.

We were greeted pleasantly and taken to our table. We ordered our food quite quickly. However, I ordered calarmari and asked if I could have it without the lemon - as I sometimes react badly to it - but the calamari came with the lemon on top. I am pleased to say that fortunately I didn't react to it but if I had it wouldn't have been pleasant. My husband ordered steak and he said it was the worst steak he had ever had at a Cote restaurant (and we have eaten at quite a few since we live close to London). He also said that his food was not very hot.

Good menu selection at reasonable prices. Friendly service and relaxed restaurant atmosphere. As with many other restaurants the prices of side dishes are becoming absurdly high.

Love this restaurant the food is always excellent and the staff are friendly and efficient! Great atmosphere and central location. We tried the breakfast there recently and it was delicious will definitely return.

We had another excellent meal at Cote in Mill Lane Cardiff. The staff are always friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very pleasant and we look forward to our next visit.

Very good food, good staff. The bread is the best bread i had in 2 1/2 years in Great britain. (Source: I am French) i recomend having a meal there.

Food was good a great selection and catered for our coeliac son which was good. Fish stew was fantastic and steak was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back

A brilliant lunch with friends. Great food and service in a lovely atmosphere. The lunch menu had a great selection at a very reasonable price. The bottle of rose wine was also very good and excellent value.

my family and l had a good variety of starter's and main courses followed by delicious puddings a good bottle of wine and not one complaint from any of the six of us.The service was friendly and professional what more could you ask for ...well done

The service and food was amazing but unfortunately the free gin and tonic was just watery. Also the wine prices have risen to exorbitant levels.

Always made very welcome and the staff always ask if everything is good. Nothing is too much trouble. The windows were open to the street which made the setting wonderful watching the world go by sipping beer and wine. Very pleased.
