Enjoyable lunch can always rely on Cotes for a good Lunch friendly helpful service food excellent and choices of menus We went for set lunch and were not disappointed. Will visit soon.

Great value but my steak was just about warm enough and quite sinewy. When requesting the bill we were given the wrong one. Waiter was excellent and a good atmosphere.

We were a rather noisy group of ladies totally charmed by your waiters nico and Ethan who couldn’t do enough for us oh and the food and wine was amazing too we’ll definitely be back if you’ll have us !!!

Staff extremely helpful and pleasant However the birthday suprise that I had arranged for one of my friends to have at the end of the meal was slightly spoilt by an over zealous waiter who misread my wishes. Who presented it as soon as we sat down. . But it was kind of the manager who apologised and gave us free glasses of Prossecco. And my guests had an extremely enjoyable time which was the most important thing.

Excellent my friend and I had a great time .The food together with the staff are second to none. Thank you all. Only fly in the ointment was a table near by full of very loud customers which made chatting at a normal level very difficult.

I have dined a few times, and everytime have enjoyed. This was my mother's first visit. At 86 she sets a high standard and is herself an excellent cook. The service was 1st class. Just a little disappointed in our choice of main course. But we will be back.

Were quite slow to serve even though only very few customers. 2 of our party ordered the eggs royals, which for some unknown reason came in a half portion and only corrected when queried, go figure. Waiting staff were, however, polite.

Excellent food & service- I had the belly pork which was really good but no crackling???

Another big group were very loud.. we asked if we could move.. the group were told several times to keep the noise down. The manager apologised to us and offered a free round of drinks. Very nice of them.

We had really good service this evening however I couldn't eat half of my steak because it was so fatty. I wasnt asked at the time how my meal was then when I paid the bill I commented how fatty the steak was. The reply was just that they had changed the meat supplier. No apology, no fresh meal. Nothing. Slightly disappointing considering how much we spent there.

Always enjoyed Cote. Great menu choices, excellent quality and reasonably priced. Would have been perfect if they still had the veal escalope on the menu! Maybe in the autumn menu?

We are all retired colleagues who visit Cote on a monthly basis and are never disappointed with the food, atmosphere and service. In particular, Sam is excellent, cheerful, welcoming and someone who always makes you feel welcome.

Really good food and the staff especially Sam in the Cardiff Cote are all friendly and professional.

Tomato starter was a bit acidic. Ribeye Steak was good, though staff member did not want to serve it medium rare. Air conditioning actually made the restaurant a bit too cold.

I think my star rating says it all.. I took a friend there for the first time and she could not stop.. saying.. how much see enjoyed.. the food and the service.

Really good food with a wide selection on the menu

Had a lovely meal here today with my 6th form French class. Very attentive waiting staff, lovely authentic French food for them to try, the pupils commented on how much they liked the decor of the room. The meal was very good value for what we got to eat. Would definitely go again, with and without kids. Thank you so much!
