Staff were delightful. Food fine. However, where we were sat was so very cold we couldn’t enjoy anything! IF I go again, I will request a table as far as possible from the door Please note I booked the table well in advance Yep disappointed

Decent food, chaotic service. We've eaten here a lot but service has slipped. It took a few attempts to get our aperitifs right. And they were very straightforward! Nibbles never arrived until we’d started. Then served the wrong mains. After a few minutes they were then switched to our neighbours. I would have been more circumspect if I was them as they had been stuck in front of us for a while. But then it wasn’t their right order either!

Arranged a meal here a few days after Christmas for a group of 9 after a previous visit. We were taken straight to our table and service was prompt afterwards considering the restaurant being busy with other parties. The food that came out was tasty and well presented. However our waitress whilst taking the orders seemed to get a bit confused and unsure of the orders and how to take them down on her iPad. One of our friends also ordered ice cream for desert and was very disappointed by the lack of ice cream. There was only one small scoop of ice cream in a pot and that was pretty much it. Even the waitress looked at the desert for some time in confusion. This is something that needs changing or avoiding for customers. A great alternative pudding is the chocolate mouse, I highly recommend it.

Great service as usual. Nice wine. Burgers were a dissapointment compared to past as they had a spongey pre formed texture and a frozen burger taste. I’d rather pay more to retain quality

The food was lovely, steaks cooked beautifully and heard no complaints, which was good considering there were 22 of us. Pre-order service worked really well, everyone impressed with that - no mix ups. Staff were very friendly and polite too. Many thanks for the welcome and compliments to the chef. Would recommend. A fabulous meal as always. Food, service and ambiance all excellent.

A nice warm welcome on arrival and that was it! Our waitress was rude and didn’t listen and wasn’t attentive in the slightest and the restaurant was even half full. Definitely needs customer service training or left in the kitchen if she doesn’t want to engage with customers. Leaning on the counter, didn’t bother showing us the bottle of wine to check it was the right one. Simply poor levels of service

Brilliant. A wonderful way to end a ladies’ shopping day in a windy, rainy Cardiff. The restaurant was full of people enjoying pre- Christmas celebrations which gave it a wonderful, buzzy atmosphere. The food, as usual was brilliant and the service exemplary. Thank you to all at Côte.

VERY APPEALING MENU, GREAT STAFF, AFFORDABLE PRICES. ONLY BUGBEAR WAS THE FACT THAT THERE WAS NO RUNNING WATER IN THE RESTROOMS, SO NO FLUSH AND UNABLE TO WASH HANDS PROPERLY. HAVE VOMITTED SINCE ARRIVING HOME, BUT SO FAR MY WIFE IS OK, SO CAN'T 100% ATTRIBUTE IT TO THE RESTAURANT YET.

I had lunch at Cote today with a friend and, as usual, It was lovely: delicious food, cosy setting, good wine and excellent service. V Christmassy!

A first visit to this particular restaurant, although Cote is our favourite chain restaurant. Arrived at 18.00 ahead of our reservation time, but were welcomed and quickly seated. My wife and I very much enjoyed our food from the "cheapest" of the menus - I am a real sucker for their dark chocolate pot! Without hurrying us, we were in and out within the hour, which suited our plans. Service was up to the usual friendly and professional standard we have come to associate with Cote
