Food was fantastic! Service was a little slow and hard to get the waitresses attention to get side plates, water etc but overall it was good

Always use this restaurant before a show at the millennium centre. Plenty of choice on the set menus. Good service even when very busy. Excellent value.

It was a birthday lunch with my team and all staff couldn't do enough for us. Also, my food was a complimentary which was such a nice touch. Food was great value for money and service was quick. They even sang happy birthday to me (which was nice but pretty embarassing!) We all said we would definitely come again. Thanks to all at Cote! James

Really gorgeous food. Service was very good but they put extra tables out as it was so busy. This made it very difficult to move around to go to the toilet etc. Would definitely return and would recommend to others.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. The moules were well cooked and perfect with bread for the dipping, The wine was lovely and paired well with the fish.

The service was excellent as was the food.My only small criticism is that the white wine was not chilled enough. We went for a meal early evening before going to the opera so the restaurant was full and consequently quite noisy. A later meal would probably result in a quieter more relaxed atmosphere.

Had a super meal on Friday. The place was packed out, but the food was of the highest quality. Thoroughly enjoyed our pre-theatre two course menu. We will be back x

As always, the staff and service great, mussels should never have left the kitchen but the staff handled the situation very well. An unfortunate moment but we shall still be revisiting!

Great food, friendly staff, excellent value for money. Very busy and a bit noisy but it was at the time of the Urdd Eisteddfod so we felt very fortunate to get a table.

Had a problem with one of the starters but was very pleased it was not charged for. Otherwise it was a delicious meal

Service and food very good. A slight misunderstanding regards our dessert order led to the wrong crepes being brought out, but that was generously discounted entirely from our bill despite only my partner not eating hers. As I had eaten mine I only expected one dessert to be discounted so cannot fault Côte on service/customer satisfaction

Excellent service. Our waiter and the restaurant manager ensured that every detail of our meal was just as we required. Quality of food was first class.

Steak was dry, grey and not pink and cold as though it had been lying around for a bit. The noise level was low and I was able to speak to my wife without shouting

We were given a warm and friendly reception. We had the offer of a blood red Martini cocktail with a main meal from the a la carte - it was very nice! And the food was excellent - calamari to start, which were exceptional! fish pie and tuna salad. Tuna cooked just perfectly. The atmosphere was good, service good, but a particularly large group came in towards the end of our meal and it did get a bit too noisy, but only to be expected with very large groups. Would not let that put me off going again.

Really nice meal, nice ambience. Enjoyed the whole evening. Service was prompt, pleasant and efficient. Reasonably priced. Food was well cooked, fresh and hot. Service charge automatically added, but option to remove if you ask. However, we were happy to pay the additional.

Consistently good food and excellent service, as always, from our waiter, Antonio. Very goid choice for a pre theatre dinner, but best to reserve a table. We will return and frequently recommend the same to friends.

It is our favourite place to go in Cardiff Bay. Perfect for pre or post Theatre dining, marvellous.

The meal was lovely, but the bill was completely booked wrong, coffees added on even though we paid independily, we were charge for 3 course, when 2 of us had 2 course, & 2 had 3 course, & we were made to feel uncomfortable when we pointed this out

We can always rely on the standard of food at this Cote restaurant. The main courses are well cooked and prepared, and the service is swift and polite at all times. The menu is a little limited, with meat in most of the options, though there is a vegetarian option - an expansion of the menu to include more vegetarian options would be welcome. The atmosphere on a Saturday evening was lively, though the noise level rose a little too high for our small party of three. Nevertheless, an enjoyable meal.

We went last year had a great experience, so we booked again never disappoints, had a good meal. The only negative was the peppercorn sauce

Lovely lovely staff , smashing martini and calamari starter but my sea bass was awful, so over cooked and even a second go didn’t improve it at all but the staff handled it so well and they are why we keep coming back , just wish the food matched them

We used the special offer Spring menu. The food was delicious. We had the soup and the salmon and haddock fish cake. Very tasty!

The restaurant was very quiet, understandable. Food ordered and served. One sign of good service is how the restaurant and staff deal with you when something goes wrong. My mum's piece of steak was way too tough for her to manage. She remarked to the waiter. Without a blink her meal was replaced with a more acceptable piece of steak. Well done Cote.

The food, table service was very good no complaints. One thing, l noticed it wasn't to warm in the restaurant when we arrived.When new people arrived at the door the wind/draft that came in, made it even worse needs attending to better design.

This is our favourite restaurant in Cardiff. This time we took 3 friends for a late lunch on Sunday and all went very well. The a la Carte menu offered a wide selection and everyone agreed that the food was first class. Attentive service as always
