Excellent breakfast at a reasonable price.I would have preferred if the dish I had was called a “Full Welsh Breakfast”How can you have Full Ennglish” in Cardiff the capital city of Wales?
Excellent service and meal.Staff were very friendly and efficient,Meals very good. Not to impressed with the added service charge,as we would prefer to set our own,Charge not fully explained,so you have to be aware.
Amazing food , outstanding service we will def be going back ! Loved it ! Happy
Lovely airy restaurant. Staff were amazing. I had booked online and mentioned that it was my friend's birthday. We were seated at a lovely booth and each of us (3) were presented with a Kir Royale. Good choice of set menu and a la carte. The 3 of us were all impressed by the quality food and excellent friendly service. I would totally recommend Cote Brasserie Cardiff Bay. My friend's dessert also came with a candle. I not usually a fan of chain restaurants, but I will definitely make an exception for Cote.
We were placed on a table for 2 which was in the corner of the restaurant at the back . We thought this would be an ok place to sit as a low traffic area , unfortunately all the restaurant staff used it to go to back of restaurant . Wouldn’t have minded if restaurant had been full but it was really quiet there. Food was mediocre, steak tasteless , we were given complimentary desserts because we weren’t happy with the food. Bit annoyed that we were charged 12.5% service charge when not a good experience though. Such a shame as food had been of a high standard on our previous visits.
Antonio and other staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful The food was outstandingly good. The drinks both complimentary and bought were excellent. The staff were fast & the food appropriately hot. A very good experience.
Food excellent, waiter rude and made us feel very unwelcome. We were told what time we had to vacate the table before we'd ordered our food. Toilet sinks blocked and we were told we could not wash our hands after using the facilities. Not my best experience of this restaurant, although funily enough a tip was still expected to be given!
Good food. Good service. Good atmosphere. Great value for money.
Good tasty dins🙂 would recommend the pork belly . Friendly
We were stuck on a tiny table for two pressed up against a pillar. i had come specifically for the Breton Chicken which was not available. The place was full of pre theatre people and if we had known we would have come later or not at all.
Booked the set breakfast for £10.50 great choices including veggie options thoroughly enjoyed by us as a family of 4 - we’ll be back thanks a lot
Excellent starter and good main course - fine service until then. But.... dessert menu arrived and LONG wait - well over half an hour, before I finally had to make a determined effort to catch they eye of the waiter, and tell him, though we’d wanted dessert, we’d have to settle for coffee as we needed to reach the theatre. Further 1/4 hour delay and we had to pay, leave coffee, (which was, admittedly, taken off the bill) and rush to make our ( elderly and slow) way across to the theatre, reaching our seats just as the lights went down at 7.30. We were in the restaurant promptly at 5.15 - we didn’t get out until 7.00. Surely 2 courses and a coffee shouldn’t have left us late for the performance? Good start - unpleasant finish.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good selection on menu. I enjoyed perfectly cooked moules, ribeye steak and apple dessert, my wife had chicken parfait, sea bass and apple dessert A thoroughly enjoyable experience
Good food at decent prices, professional friendly service in a nice bustling place - what's not to like? Except maybe being charged for some bread with our starters!

Excellent service excellent food book early to make sure of getting a table when going to a show been to a few Côte Brasserie and they are all good looking forward to my next visit
Service was average and food was below average, chicken. I would't return. quite disappointing
A very good experience .Staff were pleasant and helpful .Very attentive to our 92 year old guest Good food and wine reasonably priced
Booked ahead. Restaurant was fully booked that evening, so was irritated to order food only to be told 3 times they had sold out. Did order some food that was pleasant and prompt, and accepted a glass of wine as gesture of good will without prompting, so handled well. Very noisy, and draughty by the window unfortunately. I felt it was pricey for 2 starters and 2 main courses, one drink and water.
First time dinning here but may well become our regular choice after the opera. Absolutely loved the ambience, and the very quiet jazz playing in the background was perfect. Staff very friendly and polite other than one slightly sultry waitress, but nothing major. We can all have a bad day. Excellent wine, and delicious food. All in all a wonderful dinning experience.
Very lively atmosphere as restaurant was full. Excellent food and service. Very flavoursome and the creme caramel dessert was amazing. Cardiff Bay restaurant very convenient for Wales Millennium Centre.

Pretty good, lovely food.. bass was awesome Staff were lovely. Great venue. Lovely welcome and attentive throughout. Would recommend this restaurant indeed. Many thanks for a fab experience
Very busy but service and food was excellent Would recommend it to anyone The fish stew had a good amount of fish and shellfish in it
Another delicious meal at our local Cote Restaurant. 4 of us ate from the Prestige Menu and had plenty of choice in all parts of the meal Only problem - we chose 13.00 on the day of a matinee at the nearby Wales Millennium Centre - so Cote was packed - but the staff coped bravely with the deluge of guest all the same time
Good food, lots of choice, slow but good service, felt quite cramped in - too many tables, not enough room. Definitely recommend for location if heading to the millennium centre.
Attentive staff, definitely recommend booking if pre theatre, very easy to book online, good choice of menu and excellent value. Recommend the calamari. Consistently good in my opinion
have been to this restaurant many times have always found the food very good and staff very profesional will continue to visit if the current standards continue
Great food, great staff thanks. Lovely menu, enough for everyone. Busy and noisy but well organised and efficient. Good service, we all enjoyed the food.
We had a great welcome, swift service & well cooked and presented food.
We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meal! The staff were warm, friendly and efficient. We shall certainly return.Thank you!
Good evening enjoyed good service rather pay my own service charge
Great food and drink. The carb bisque was very good and the veal special was exceptional. Would highly recommend for the food, service and atmosphere.
Great atmosphere and service. Meal was superb. Highly recommend. Booked an evening meal before the theatre. Steak was the best we've eaten. Calamari starter was amazing.
We always come here prior to a show in the Millennium Centre. The food is always good and the set menus are real value for money. It can be a little noisy as everything is a hard surface so sound just bounces off - especially if it’s full of women going to see Calendar Girls. That can sometimes affect the conversation especially if there are any members of the party that are a little hard of hearing. That aside, the staff are always friendly and the customer service is always excellent. Booking online is also convenient and I would recommend as it can fill up quickly. We are regular customers and will continue to be as long as the quality remains. We are yet to have a bad meal. Well done Côte Brasserie.
Thank you for a beautiful evening at Cardiff Bay. We had a wonderful time celebrating our Wedding Anniversary with you. The food was divine and the service was fantastic. I’m sure we will see you again soon.
Rib eye Steak and duck to die for ... with creamed spinach and wine ... what more could you ask for !! Service and atmosphere fab’
Cote is our favourite restaurant as always food was wonderful.
Wonderful food, as usual, and good value for money too.
We could not fault any part of our experience. The staff were all helpful and friendly as always The food was excellent and a free bottle of wine was included. First class. One of our favorite restaurants. P & B
Delicious food and fantastic service, the food arrived quickly and we had the set menu which is excellent value for money. The ratatouille goats cheese starter was amazing!
A lovely treat before going to theatre. The service was good, food excellent and a good choice on menu. I went for the set early bird menu.
Perfect food & service. No lunchtime menu on a Saturday but food was great.
Faultless service, excellent food. No more to say really, we always have a wonderful meal at Côte. The staff took the time and effort to wish my husband a happy birthday too. Thank you
Very good experience, good service. good food and great atmosphere. We booked a pre theatre meal and it was excellent plenty of time to stroll over to the Millenium Centre.
Our first time here and we were impressed by the courtesy of the staff and quality of food. Excellent service and a great atmosphere. We look forward to going again.
Excellent service nice friendly helpful staff nothing is to much trouble, without crowding you, food on off excellent and reasonably priced with plenty of choice, would recommend for pre theatre food
Excellent food and service. Pre theatre I need to allow extra time so I can enjoy dessert.
Absolutely fantastic service - it was my fiancées birthday and the staff couldn’t do enough to make her feel special! Highly recommend! Service and food were impeccable!
Never been before but as I was going to the theatre with a friend, thought it would be good to try as it was so close. The food was lovely and the waitress was friendly and helpful. The only downside was some of the tables that seated two people were very close together and as it was quite busy, you did feel like you were in the conversation with the people on the table next to you.
The staff was great and overall service was fantastic. The food itself was pretty good (particularly the starters) but the mains, while ultimately satisfying, could be improved upon
The service was very good. I had the beef Bourgogne But it was a bit dry as if it had been waiting for a while before serving. The other three guests had a good meal with no negative comments.
