Good food snappy service and reasonable cost. Great location for Millennium Centre. Not sure about including "optional" tip on bill would prefer if tip was entirely voluntary. Who gets the tip I wonder?

Food excellent as always, helpful friendly staff, service a little slower than usual today, but the restaurant was very busy. Would always recommend this restaurant.

Nice food good venue staff are attentive but not in the way. Would go there again . Good value lunch and early diner menues with extras if you want to add a bit more.

Fantastic place to eat. We love coming here and have never ever had a bad meal here. It's one of the best chain restaurants there is.

This is a great place to eat! The staff are totally professional - friendly without being gushing, attentive without being over familiar and superbly well organised and calm. The food was excellent - really tasty and cooked exactly how we ordered. Somewhere in this chain is top quality management and training -

Excellent service and lovely meal however we had to send back both a bowl of olives (very dry and odd tasting, looked like they had been left out for hours) and a bowl of grapes from the cheeseboard (they had mould on them) both hastily replaced by the lovely server though.

A lovely meal, friendly staff and prompt service. Would definitely visit again. We all had food from the 'weekend specials' menu which was good value and delicious.

Excellent food, had the August 3 course menu which was gorgeous and such good value. Staff are friendly and very attentive. Would recommend a visit.

We really enjoyed our meal for five, late afternoon mid-week. The food was very tasty and well cooked. The staff were helpful and friendly without being overbearing.

Excellent service by polite staff. Good and very varied choice of food. Pleasant ambience with view of the Bay beach. Useful location near the theatre and the cinema.

Food was actually very delicious. But I resent the 12.5% gratuity charge. I get that it's stated on tbe menu, and clearly defined that all tips go to staff. I'd still rather decide in my own tip. TAble for 4 was too small for us. Felt very squashed, but as mentioned earlier, food was great, and we would return.

Visited for theatre trip. Arrived 5.45 needed to be out by 7.20 latest which restaurant knew. Ordered 3 course celebration menu. Mains took so long that we had to forgo desert despite paying for it. Pretty poor. They offered us our desert after the theatre ended but no one wanted it at 10.15! Cote had our money but didn't deliver. Unusually poor service.

Wonderful Birthday lunch. Friendly service. Beautifully presented and tasty food. The prawn starter was delicious and the duck main course was perfectly cooked. I will definitely return.

Yet another excellent meal at Cote Brasserie in the Bay. Had 3 courses each and all 6 plates were pretty much licked clean and all washed down with some lovely wine! Thank you :)

Favourite restaurant and as always Côte delivered. Dined at the Cardiff Bay site and wasn't disappointed. Highly recommend, the food is brilliant and reasonable price as well.

Great atmosphere, great service, great food. We had a really lovely time celebrating our anniversary, and were looked after very well. The lunch menu was great value.

Generally love the steak frites at Cote but on this visit like boot leather, no sign of pink. Set back, they were happy to change, but really no better, although did take off the bill. Overall disappointing.

I ordered the belly pork, it was really disappointing, very fatty and not much actual meat. I know belly pork is a fatty cut but there was so little meat in my portion it wasn't worth the money in my opinion. I mentioned this to the waitress and she apologised but that was it, no offer of anything in return. Overall the food was ok but I won't be rushing back there.

From the moment we opened the door ,the service and professional delivery of awesomely tasty food and delicious wine was a delightful and refreshing gastronomic experience.

The Cardiff Bay Cote Brasserie has a lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and delicious food...I also feel it is good value for money considering the menu and cuisine - two of us had three courses each and a bottle of wine for just over £75 - including service charge! We had booked in for date night and had a wonderful time - will definitely be back again!

Attended the restaurant to celebrate my husbands birthday. We seated promptly and given plenty of time to make our choice. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our food was hot, well presented and delicious. We chose from the celebration set menu which was excellent value for money and the champagne included was cold, crisp and delightful. The creme caramel was the best I've had in a long time (and I lived in France for 5 years). We would definitely dine here again.

Lovely food and excellent service. Had the early bird meal, which as always was great value for money and good choice. The only reason that I haven't given the evening top marks is that the restaurant is very noisy - so conversation is a bit hard.

Great service and lovely food! They offer a gluten free menu too, which is amazing and has a wide variety of choices. Atmosphere also great with friendly, welcoming staff.

Disappointed with lack of attentive service during the meal. Our main course never materialised but FULL MARKS to the manager who put his hands up and said there had been a cock up in the kitchen with our order. We didn't get charged for the food - he was very sorry. I can deal with honesty - it hasn't put us off going to Cote. Score of 5 for the way the manager dealt with things

Always has lovely food , the seasonal specials are exactly that, and the waiting staff are pleasant. The fish soup starter is gorgeous, and a complementary glass of kir for my birthday just adds to the pleasure.

Food was great, waiters were lovely and kept asking if we needed anything. Only downside was that it took us ages to get the bill and when we finally got it it took them ages to come over with the card machine.

As always every thing excellent ...welcome.food.ambience .staff very attentive. Visited other Le Cote but Cardiff Bay is our favourite for at least 5 yearange ando visiting Windsor soon

The food was lovely, however I think they mis-represented the Camembert starter. we were expecting a small camembert each but what cam out was a flat pitta bread with too much onions and only a tiny bit of camembert. overall brilliant £13 for three courses, you can't really go wrong.

Set menu good value and well cooked as ever. Service good if a little slow on this occasion, however, it was busy for a mid week lunch as Cardiff Met. Uni. had just held a Graduation Ceremony across the square.

Can't fault my 3 course was beautiful my partners half chicken was a bit dry for his liking Chocolate mousse is to die for and poullet grille hit the spot! Thank you

As nice as any of the chains. A busy day, food was good but service was slow and people who came in after us were served more quickly. Coffee served before desert, which always irritates me.

Lovely breakfast. The food was well presented and delicious. The English breakfast tea could be improved as that was quite weak. The coffee was good.

Good imaginative French themed menu. Authentic dishes well flavoured, prepared and presented. Plenty of choice for most palates. House wine is very pleasant. Great service and response to all requests. Excellent environment and atmosphere within.

We had a great meal and service at Cote in Cardiff. Very speedy as well which suited us as we were going to the theatre

Booked table for dinner before going to theatre. There was a very good choice of food served by friendly and efficient staff. Would certainly recommend.

Food and service was excellent but it was very noisy. I had asked for a quiet table which I Was told was in quietest part of restaurant but it was still very noisy. Spoiled the meal. I do not have a hearing problem
