Very clean, well presented and friendly staff. Special menu very good value , portions a little small and food could have been hotter. Very relaxing experience.
Had booked for pre-theatre early 2 course set price meal. The staff were helpful and the food was tastey and hot. One small point is that the main course is served with potato but no other vegetables. We ordered additional veg at an extra cost. As the 2 course meal is so reasonable this was not a problem.
A great restaurant and always our choice pre- theatre! The staff are always friendly and helpful, the service is quick and the and the food is delicious.
Food always good and service excellent. Always consistent. Great location by the oval basin. Lovely for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A good choice. Close to the millennium centre.
The starter was lukewarm, the main course hake was overcooked and dry and the dessert was also lukewarm. I informed the waiter and he mumbled an apology. Service was good though
Lovely food . Excellent service . Free wine. Can’t beat it . Although always busy the staff go out of their way to make sure your experience is enjoyable
Excellent food, staff and venue. I have already recommended this chain of restaurants to many of my friends and family. We will certainly be visiting again. Thank you.
Good pre-theatre food. It was quick and tasty. It meant we could have a delivious 2 course meal before heading over to see the show.
This is a great restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is very delicious and well presented. Well worth a visit if in the area. Would recommend to others. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent service & value for money. We will be visiting again as it is close to the Welsh Millennium Centre & therefore convenient for shows.
Excellent food at Cote Cardiff Bay. Warmly welcomed, we had the three course set menu which was delicious and very reasonably priced. Great service too.
Lovely staff, great food and atmosphere. Reasonable price and selections for vegetarians, Fillet Steak was also perfect! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a French style meal down the bay.
Excellent service from really nice staff, good ambience, good food and good choice of drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning.
The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was lovely too. I would recommend the restaurant to family and friends,I hope to be back soon
Another wonderful meal at Côte Brasserie in Cardiff Bay. The restaurant was full to capacity pre theatre early evening, but the service and quality of food was, as always excellent. Will return again and again at this lovely restaurant.
A great early meal prior to a millenium show. Prompt and attentive service with a happy atmospere. Good price and an interesting menu Will certainly return
Great location for pre theatre dinner. Food nothing to shout about but adequate. Staff very pleasant enough. Would probably use again when going to theatre.
excellent service and good food what more can you ask for. i had the duck with the cherry sauce which was very good only downside was it was very noisy which meant my partner got creme caramel for dessert instead of creme brulee.
Very nice food, good atmosphere. Possibly a little over rated / over priced. Tables close to each other so don't expect privacy.... but overall very enjoyable experience and will certainly return and recommend.
Great night as usual. Soup and salad delicious, steaks good and best cremes caramels ever ! How does Cote manage to produce such good food at such reasonable prices ?? Service always first class despite how busy they were with pre-theatre crowd.
Disappointing Caasoulet main course and rather dis-interested service. The first time we have ever found Côte fall short. Maybe it was because it was so busy.
The Cardiff Bay Cote is a friendly place to visit and we always enjoy the food. Ideal for a pre-theatre meal as the service is quick and efficient.
Amazing food and great staff. Had a three course meal and loved every last bit. Can’t wait to go there again. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend.
Excellent dining experience! The food was of high quality and very tasty. It was served hot by a very good team of waiting staff, who saw to your every need. Highly recommended
Overall good. Could do with a large thick curtain over the entrance as the draft is bad each time someone comes or goes. Good selection of dishes, but got feeling of being left under heat lamp for too long.
Food was good, and great value on pre-theatre, starters were quick but took a long time to get our main course and too pay, so nearly missed theatre.
Excellent lunch with friends. The service as normal was excellent as was the quality of the lunch. The atmosphere and the staff make for a very pleasant occasion.
First visit to this restaurant, had pre-booked table for 2 for pre-theatre meal. Lovely welcome with no waiting. Prompt but not pushy service and attention. Excellent meal although the garlic bread appetiser didn't have much garlic flavour, if any. But well cooked and vey tasty main courses; I had chicken my wife cod goujons, and beautiful desserts. Will definitely visit again when we are in Cardiff Bay - we live some 25 miles/40 minutes drive from Cardiff Bay. No hesitation in recommending.
Excellent atmosphere and brilliant food. The roast duck was the best i have ever had. My partner had steak and that to was delicious. Very highly recommended☺
excellent food as usual, service at the beginning was a little slow, our designated waiter delayed taking our food order owing to him being monopolized in conversation with 2 customers, staff should be trained to break away politely, we waited perhaps 15 minutes for our order to be taken, therefore from first entering to first course was about 1 hour. Unusual compared to our many previous visits.
Great evening, gave us time to have a drink before choosing our menu, service excellent, food excellent and help us choose a decent bottle of wine to go with meal. Will return. Thank you
Good quality produce served efficiently in a friendly environment. 2 of us shared the cote De boeuf, which was flavourful and nicely presented. One other had a rib-eye steak and our final diner enjoyed lasagna. All washed down with some Cotes du Rhone. Delicious.
This is a well located friendly restaurant. The staff are committed to providing good service. The menu is excellent and varied with monthly specials. Have so far been twice and can find no fault.
excellent food, good helpful staff, nice atmosphere in the restaurant if you book online at short notice, they may not get it- ring them directly
Excellent service. Very efficient staff. The food was superb and wine selection perfect. Very enjoyable lunch, considering it was a busy day with many people visiting the city for a Rugby international.
Excellent food and service. Friendly staff, did not have to wait long to be served. Food of high quality, filled the plate and reasonably priced.
Disappointed limited drinks on menu and no children’s pudding. Also prices have increased a lot since our last visit. Pierre Bistrot offers better value for money.
I think the fact lowing points apply to Côte good family friendly atmosphere. Great location Great food Fair pricing Service is a bit lazy Poor parking
Food was superb and the service excellent we all cleared out plates. Puddings were delicious followed by floater coffee. Will be returning very soon thankyou
We had a very enjoyable supper at Cote Cardiff Bay. The food was fresh and flavoursome. Only criticism was the noise levels very high - could use some soft furnishings to help absorb the noise.
Good food. Service a bit slow but good food. Very loud and optional service charge a bit annoying and bumps the cost up. But good overall.
The cod goujouns were over cooked which ruined the meal ( we had 2 of them ) and had spent over £200 that evening in your restaurant
Very good service. The Staff were very polite. Food tasted good.It wasn’t, too expensive .Would recommend this restaurant.Quite pleased that it is so close to Millenium Centre
excellent service and food despite one meal having to be returned due to a steak being so tough but replace with no nonsense and with a smile ( it was as tough as old boots ) the replacement was just right .
Family visit for a birthday great time, excellent service good choice on the menu food very very good, quick service too of to theatre afterwards plenty of time to spare
Our favourite restaurant before a performance at The Wales Millenium Centre, whether it be a matinee or evening performance. Fab food. Fab staff. Fab atmosphere.
Excellent value for money. Good service and well presented dishes. Our next show in the Millennium is in 3 weeks time. Booking our table at Cote Brasserie today.
As usual thr steak tartare was perfectAwesome cassoulet has suddenly arrived on the menu. A FANTASTIC BOTTLE OF MERLOT. Wonderfull afternoon dining and looking forward to my next visit
Wonderful, really excellent. Thank you. Joint birthday event and we felt so welcome and well looked after. Meal and service super. All of us loved it.
Despite the fact that we were late due to traffic, and the restaurant was pretty full, the staff were welcoming and friendly and had us fed in time to go to the WMC for "Beautiful" (where all the other diners seemed to be going too!). Only slight hitch was our forgotten starter, but dealt with so charmingly and so delicious when it arrived that it was easy to forgive. We will return!
