Excellent two course lunch at a reasonable price. The cream caramel was delicious!! Very nice ambience in the restaurant and the staff were very attentive. Will definitely go again.

Great menu, suited young, middle and older folk. Food was perfectly cooked and well presented. Excellent efficient and friendly service made for a most enjoyable experience.

First time ever eating in Cote and found it very relaxing, food delicious and we were not rushed to leave early either. Infact the waitress was very good indeed and I can see us returning in the future.

Good food as usual, but service a bit slow, very busy and noisy-6 Nations match day, Wales playing at home in Cardiff so this was understandable

Pleasant meal. Consistent quality. All four of us were pleased with our choices. Service good, but let down slightly by a mistake in the bill although this was quickly rectified when the error was explained.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal last Saturday, for my family birthday celebrations. The food was very good and the service was also brilliant. Although didn't get the opportunity to refuse the 12.5% service charge which was a bit steep. However, we were very happy to tip the waiter.

Food was absolutely perfectly delicious! Even tempted us into desert which was sensational. Restaurant itself is beautiful. Staff were lovely. A little crammed in there, could do with spacing the smaller tables out a little. And staff could be a little more cautious. Lovely evening though! Definitely recommend. It might be a big chain but the food is to die for.

Excellent food as always.A good welcome and pleasant staff.The restaurant in theBay is well appointed and located and while we are Cote regulars it was our first visit to the Bay. The day of our visit the branch was not busy due to the awful weather and our only small niggle was that for the number of customers service was a little slow.

Ample portions, quick service and pleasant team. Great location for meal prior to evening at the WMC. They seem to add the gratuity in automatically though..

Despite being very busy service was efficient and food up to standard and staff pleasant. Croissant a bit burned on the bottom but did not affect flavour.

Really friendly staff who make you feel very comfortable and welcome. They cater to gluten free customers brilliantly, with a large gluten free menu and the food is delivered with a little flag reading “gluten free”. I find this very reassuring. Food was delicious and will definitely be visiting again!

12.5% optional gratitude that I didn’t want to pay, not happy, it’s upto me if I want to tip waitresses, don’t take without saying to me, won’t be coming again after that. I want my 12.5% back.

Sadly tonight they seemed unwilling or unable to cater to individual dietary requirements. Muddled service. Orders forgotten or wrong. Not the usual standard. Buck up Cote!

Food was lovely. A few problems with drinks being ordered and not arriving, and having to ask a second time. This happened twice. Staff pleasant. Restaurant quiet so not overly busy.

Excellent food, great service. March specials of fish soup, fillet steak, profiteroles were beautifully cooked. Excellent bottle of Pays d'Oc chardonnay. V busy but all worked well.

Menu has good choices from specials and a la carte menu.We used both.The food was well cooked and the service as ever was first class though very busy.It was excellent value for money.What's not to like?

It was nice as always. The service was quite good, and the food was served fairly smoothly. My friend ordered a egg benedict, which was placed just on a plate, without green veg or any relish. She said it tasted good, but I felt the starter a bit blunt. Mains (sea bass) was excellent.

It is a very nice place .The pre theatre meal i had was poor the other Al la Carte dish was very nice.We like it there is a nice ambiance in this resteraunt.

I went to Côte Brasserie Cardiff Bay with my friend in the evening of Friday 23rd February. It was our second visit and we enjoyed it as much as on our first. We were greeted warmly as we arrived and given the option to choose our table. The staff were friendly and attentive without making us feel hurried. We had 2 courses each which were well presented and delicious. We will definitely go again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Love this restaurant, good service , lovely food and great atmosphere. Booked prior to going to the opera and it was really busy so a little bit of a wait in between first and second course but not an issue. But you must book as very very popular . Will always recommend 😀

Lovely early evening with friends before the opera. Great food and lovely setting, but a bit too hot and overheated. Also, do not begrudge 12.5% gratuity added to bill, but still have little faith that it will actually get to the front of house staff.

Very busy but excellent service and delighted with quality of food. We had time pressures as we were going to the opera at 7 but we were told to relax and enjoy and there would be no problems being served in the time we had. It all worked out very well without even feeling rushed, Dispite restaurant being full staff managed well and did a great job. Very happy with our French Onion soup and minute steaks and chips and always like the Breton Cider!
