Lovely food and very good service. Whichever Cote I've visited they have all been consistently good. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. Looking forward to our next visit.
Good location next to busy thoroughfare. Service attentive Food quality very good Prices acceptable and service quick No feeling of being rushed Premises give feeling of relaxation
Great service, perfect location and, as usual, the most amazing food! The only downside is I cannot stop eating there, despite no pressure to do so, and I feel rather stuffed whenever I leave! Don’t wait, just go!
Fantastic welcome, warm and friendly immediately. Delicious food and very efficient, staff interaction. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you
Staff are very welcoming and efficient. We had our drinks order taken and served quickly as was the food order. Had to wait a while for the food to be served but when it arrived it was delicious.
Lovely food, but incredibly slow service. The table was booked for 18.15 and having only ordered main courses, we struggled to leave by 19.25. This was booked to eat prior to a show at the venue across the road, and should be standard service for this restaurant.
as usual food and service excellent. value and quality of the food is always top notch . wherever we are we look for "le cote"
Great service, fantastic food and a lovely experience! The staff were all very helpful and made our special night even more special. We would love to visit again when we are back in Cardiff.
Food was amazing! We felt very welcome. Service was good. My child’s crayons had fallen without me realising and the waiter pick them up from under the table. I would definitely recommend it!
Lovely meal, great service and value. Perfect pre theatre meal, but didn’t feel rushed at all. Reliability we have to expect from Cote. Will visit again.
Excellent food and service . The Staff were very attentive, the food was superb and it was a lovely atmosphere. I woumd thouroughly recommend to anyone.
Quick service and good quality food. The staff were friendly and attentive. Good selection of food and service was quick. Perfect when you are catching a show after.
We visited the restaurant today and so glad we did !The staff were welcoming and attentive, the wine was lovely , but the best was the fish stew ! A really tasty dish which we througly enjoyed . Looking forward to our next visit !
Arrived 5.45pm for pre Theatre meal. Orders taken at 6pm when we found out preferred dish not available. Main course arrived 7pm so we had to bolt it down or leave some in order to get to Theatre on time. Despite multiple requests to staff there was a 35 minute gap between dishes for starters being cleared and main course arriving. We had to leave in a hurry. We all paid the costs of our meals minus service charge and minus 1 ordered desert which we didn't have time for. As I approached the till area with the tray of money, the manager ( who I had earlier found off hand and bordering on rude) turned and walked away. I left the money by the till and we ran to the theatre. We were a party of 8 from a very large community group who have used this restaurant in this way a number of times. Howerver we won't be doing so again.
The food was good service wasvery slow on a quiet Tuesday lunchtime . Staff were very pleasant and helpful . We were charged £5 for 4very small slices of bread and 10 olives !!
Even though we were booked at 6 pm so we could get to the theatre at 7.30pm, our order must have been forgotten and our food didn't arrive in time . We had to leave before eating .....enough said.
Had a very poor steak frites meal tonight. Have had this meal before and it has been good. They seem to have changed the steak to a large slice of beef that was over cooked and tough. Staff were very good but good standard not up to scratch.
The service was fair. It took an hou to get our main meal. The rib eye steak I ordered as medium was first rare and then when cooked ended up well done. The waiter took my main meal off the bill
We had an excellent meal at Cote. The staff were very friendly and efficient despite the restaurant being very crowded. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed everything we ate - pissaladiere, crab mayonnaise, steaks, frites, lemon tart. We usually go before visiting the Millennium Centre and will certainly continue to do so.
Excellent table just as I had requested. Staff very busy but still attentive and polite. The meal was good and the overall experience was extremely pleasant.
Very good an d efficient service and good food. Excellent before a matinee Thank you to all the staff. It would be helpful to accept this without minimum wording
Excellent choice all served before the theatre. Polite staff with first class service. Would definitely come again soon. Choice of different menus to suit all tastes.
Really enjoyed my experience at the Cote Cardiff Bay. Despite the restaurant being very busy the service was excellent . All choices were available and the food was very good . Highly recommend.
Vibrant ambiance. Polite pleasant and efficient service. Meal served so able to get to show at the Millenium centre in plenty of time. Would recommend to anyone.
Lovely food with a good atmosphere - we have been to COTE at Cardiff bay and have not been disappointed on any occasion. The staff are very friendly and helpful
Buzzing - even at 6pm. Even though we were early, table available. Perfect steak frites, creme brulee and delicious wine. Friendly and efficient waiters - a place to visit again and again!
Excellent service and very good food Consistently excellent in all respects which is why we are regulars and look forward to going back every time.
Good excellent, service not good. Waited half an hour for plates to be removed and to get the desert menu. Maybe because it was easter
We had a very enjoyable time the food was excellent. I will be coming again to Cote in the near future. Will recommend to all my family friends as I am sure they will enjoy the food also.
It was staff shift change which left us without the waiter who originally served us. it was also quite busy food was as usual good,we would certainly go again to this resturant.
The Cote Brasserie is in a lovely location n Cardiff Bay. The food from the lunchtime special menu was lovely and because it's my Birthday this month, my daughter and I were given a free glass of kir royale each. The staff are very friendly and attentive and we didn't feel rushed at any point. We felt very relaxed and well looked after. Thank you xx
Great service, wine & meal. We were very well looked after, we could not have wished for a better experience on for our wedding anniversary
From the moment I walked in the door, it was held open by the manager who instantly saw me seated. Our waiter was attentive without being over bearing. The food was excellent. Having paid the bill, the waiter wished us a good day as did the female manager. The restaurant was well attended and the satff were busy, but I experienced Cotes at its best.
Lovely food apart from the sirloin steak which was tough, would nt put me off going . Ambience is good. Staff are friendly. Will visit again
We enjoyed a lovely fresh delicious breakfast and attentive staff. The portions were generous. The table had a great view of the Millennium Centre. I have had breakfast here previously and both times it was excellent.
fab brunch at cote in cardiff Bay. the food was delightful. Quite happy to accommodate you if you want to change some of the breakfast items.
Great service the staff were polite and friendly, amazing breakfast there were 6 of us and every meal was excellent , good value for money!
Service good, relaxing restaurant, our first time visiting this restaurant and certainly won’t be the last. Good food and very attentive staff, a nice evening.
Good quality food and good service. Good variation of choices. A good formulae that should not be tampered with too much. The Cardiff Bay restaurant a good quality venue in the chain.
Good Friday visit, and restaurant was busy but we discovered a varied menu, offering Lovely food which was served piping hot, and all delivered with attentive service. Thanks, will come again.
great food well presented and not rushed, even though it was a busy Saturday evening . Staff were all very helpful pleasant and attentive. We will return
We enjoyed a really lovely relaxed lunch. The food was excellent with a wide choice of dishes and the staff were very attentive. We look forward to returning soon .
Excellent in every respect. A great experience. The free wine was of good quality. The creme brûlée was not adulterated with fruit. Service was polite and efficient.
I was particularly impressed by the extensive gluten-free menu. Otherwise, an excellent meal served with the correct balance of formality and friendliness. thoroughly enjoyed by the whole party.
Great food and friendly staff. We love the garlic bread and the specials too. Good table and didn't feel rushed. I've been here a few times and look forward to going back.
Very good food inc mains, overall good service at a busy time. Very accommodating of our group which had two small children in it, which of course is appreciated. Would visit again.
Enjoyed the meal salad and veg was a bit sparse . When asked if we would like bread and olives I was surprised at the price for each
