Very enjoyable evening. The food is great and service excellent. We ordered starters and a main course with coffee to follow. Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Great atmosphere and staff were spot on despite the restaurant being packed. We.visited for early evening pre theatre. The food was as delicious as usual and we will visit again asap!

Excellent food, excellent value and excellent service. Visited before going to a show at the WMC, and received excellent service that was conscious of our need to leave by a certain time, but didn’t rush us at all. Thoroughly recommend it. Can not fault it at all for quality or value.

Pleasant atmosphere, lots of space and friendly staff. Not always super quick but lovely if you're not in a hurry. Always good quality food and drink.

Good food (early bird menu), service & location- close to theatre. My only criticism is high price of soft drinks- a coke was almost £3!

We are regulars here; frequent visitors to the Millennium Centre, we always dine at Cote before performances. We used to eat at Ffresh in the Centre, but repeatedly had such bad experiences that we looked elsewhere, and have never been let down by Cote - however busy the restaurant is. WNO evenings are especially full and early booking clearly necessary. The menu is a bit formulaic, that's the nature of chains, but the cooking is dependable and the staff are absolutely wonderful. There’s so little of any quality in the area, Cote is, albeit mute, a beacon!

The restaurant was great the loos do need some attention, they were quite smelly particularly of urine. It was a disappointing experience however the food was as good as always

Good service and nice food. A little bit expensive but pretty good overall. More bread needed with starters. A common fault at most restaurants- you order pate for example and get a load of pate with a tiny amount of bread. However it was all pretty good. Thank you!

Poor service, cold food which was sent back twice. Unimpressed. Used to a much better experience when visiting other 'Cote' restaurants. Not a great start to the NYE festivities.

Foremost the staff are wonderful and create a totally welcoming ambience. The menu is varied and comprehensive and the quality of the food is always superb.

Fantastic food as always with excellent service. The atmosphere in Côte is always very relaxing, the staff are always attentive. We go every Xmas eve to kick of the celebrations.

Cote serves really nice food and there is a good selection. The staff are very cheerful and helpful. There is a really good atmosphere too.

Another lovely evening spent at Cote. Good food, service and atmosphere. Whichever Cote I have visited the food has always been of a very high standard and quite reasonably priced.

Both the Meal and service were excellent, the Calamari was one of the very best i have ever had --the main course of fillet of sea Bass with mussels in a cream sauce was to die for, both courses were fabulous and the staff amazing, friendly and bang on -- the complementary bottle of wine was top class, i choose a french Merlot which was lovely soft fruity --great bouquet--excellent value. Great service great offer ---well done --will definitely book again Jon & Liz

A very nice lunch, good atmosphere, pleasant staff and we were warm!! My only small criticism has to do with the coffee, not that hot... and maybe a small chocolate to go with?!

From greet to receipt the service and food were excellent. The crème caramel was definitely the specialty which was 1,000,000 times better than other crème caramels we had before. We booked here for our pre-show dinner having been guests many times before for birthdays, celebrations or just in passing and it always exceeds expectations.

Lovely restaurant and staff. We went Saturday before the matinee and it wasn’t too busy. My daughter had the half chicken which was tasty but quite dry. I had the steak frites which was nice but small portion. I was shocked that my single glass of wine cost nearly £9 and a service charge of nearly £5 was added. Given that our meals only cst £11.95 each, I feel ripped off.

Usually have good experiences here, but this time wasn’t plain sailing. The waiter took our order and we ordered a bread basket, out mains arrived and our bread basket never, fine no big deal. Then the waiter came over and asked if I had ordered the Poulèt Grille, I responded with yes and he proceeded to tell me I had been given Duck. Not sure how this happens, nevertheless I enjoyed the meal, just wasn’t what i ordered unfortunately

Food is always consistently good and the special menus is great value. Easy to book online and the confirmation is a good reminder. Great position in the bay

This place never lets us down. OK, it was Saturday. The place was packed from 5:30 on, as there were shows on at the Wales Millennium Centre, but we still received excellent service and beautiful, freshly prepared food. One staff member recommended booking well in advance as Christmas approaches, and I think that is good advice judging on how busy they were on this “normal” Saturday night.

We were two adults and one ten year old. There was a lovely atmosphere and the three of us enjoyed our meal. My son had the calamari off the main menu as a starter and then the children’s meal for main plus some bread, the main meal from the children’s menu would not have been enough without the starter. Whilst we all enjoyed I have dropped the score mainly that I did not feel that we had value for money and whilst we usually leave a tip £8 service charge was added to the bill.

Lovely meal with friends. Food was beautiful, well presented and the service was excellent. We accompanied our food with a good bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Well done Cote Cardiff 👍🏻

Delicious crispy calamari followed by Breton half chicken and fries, couldn't eat it all so took it home. As always fantastic quality food, well presented and cooked. Such good value for money. Never had a disappointing meal at Cote

Today we came for breakfast looking forward to the casual atmosphere and professional service we always have at lunchtime and dinnertime and we weren't disappointed.Delicious croissants a selection of toast and preserves accompanied by the aroma and taste of cotes coffee we were set up for the day
