Côte Cardiff Bay

We booked a table for pre show dinner and I cannot speak highly enough of the service that we received. From the initial meet and greet, to the food, the waiter (Joao Pinto) and the manager (Kamil), everything was over and beyond our expectations. Great value for money, well presented and delicious!!! We will definitely return and will not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Cardiff Bay Thank you

Food good as always. Service not so good as restaurant very busy. Vintage of wine on wine list not the vintage on sale.

As always service was fabulous. Our food was lovely for the most part, my steak frite wasn’t the best but this was taken care of. It was my boyfriend’s 40th and when I booked I asked that two kir royals were ready for our arrival and they were served as we sat down which was a lovely touch and I’m very grateful. I have nothing but praise for your service and the quality of your food every time we come. Thank you

The staff and kitchen were obviously struggling. We waited ages for our main course food which arrived 10 minutes after your email. It wasn’t very good either. Our waiter was elusive and did not engage or respond when we asked him how much longer we would have to wait. The restaurant was busy but that is no excuse for poor service, long delay etc

We always enjoy eating at Côte Brasserie before going to the opera. This evening the food was excellent however service was very slow, which was unusual. Other customers were also concerned by the delay in serving courses and the time available to get to the opera. The manager was very apologetic. We still enjoyed our meal.

No onion soup. No pork. No rib eye. Very disappointing. Waiter was kind and helpful. Nice kir royal. But menu limited.

All went very well and greatly enjoyed. Slight drawback was that there were six dishes on the menu that were unavailable

crispy pork wasn't crispy,glass had a chip in it ,bill in correct free cocktails on bill , no crab bisque ,october special !!!!

Lovely food.swift service. Having asked for a disabled friendly table position our needs were catered for prior to our arrival.Staff were also attentive and helpful throughout our meal. Cannot wait to go again.

Côte has this uncanny ability to be both elegant and relaxed at the same time. Six of us went there on a rainy night to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The atmosphere inside was warm, inviting and full of energy., but perhaps a bit noisier than I expected as it was almost full. Our servers could not have been nicer. The food? Just amazing - fresh and cooked to perfection. I ordered the ribeye steak and it was heavenly. We ordered drinks, starters, french onion soup, main mail and desert. We paced ourselves as the food was delivered like clockwork. They knew when to bring the food to us and the service was immaculate. All the guests at our table had a lovely time.

On a very rainy evening we felt welcomed into a warm inviting atmosphere. Our banquette table for 5 was lovely and the food choice was varied and delicious served by a waitress who wanted us to enjoy our meal!

We went there after a visit to the Millennium Centre. It was perfect for that after show meal. Made to feel very welcome and the food, as always was amazing.

Friendly welcome but a noisy restaurant. Cocktails are very limited but the wine list is decent. We found the food a bit inconsistent, some very nice but others not well executed. I would say it’s “ok”.

We were seated promptly, service and food were good and our waiter was great.

excellent service, very good starters however the pasta fish main course was bland & was sent back, however the duck main was superb
