We had a wonderful meal here! The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Can’t wait to return 😊

Really enjoyed - the coup noir was out of this world!!

Great restaurant but as it was busy we had to wait 50 mins for our food and as we had a young baby with us he started to get restless because of the extremely long wait . It was a shame that this delay of food service spoiled our eating experience as we love the restaurant and the food is delicious.

We arrived late having been stuck in traffic and had theatre reservations and a 40 minute slot to eat. The restaurant was full but we were seated, advised on the meals that could be prepared quickly for us, we chose accordingly and the service was swift and professional, we were very impressed, thank you Cote!

Food and service were outstanding thankyou , this restaurant has never let me down and will b returning very soon .

Food and service were fine for the most part but although I had warned the restaurant that I was allergic to gluten and confirmed it twice before ordering my starters and main, I was given an ordinary menu for me to order my sweet course and had to ask for the gf menu. Then the gf desert I was given included a cake which was not gf and had to query that. I feel that is negligence and could have caused me to react badly.

It’s always a pleasure to visit Cote in Cardiff Bay. The staff are so friendly and the food is always very good. The creme caramel is the best we have ever tasted. Looking forward to our next visit!

The food was cold. The pork loin was a lump of potato with the meat plopped on top. My sisters chicken was tough. The brioche was sweet, horrible & didn’t taste fresh. I just ate my side order of chips which were soggy because I was hungry.We were going to order a desert but the waiter took so long to come & ask us what we wanted so we gave up, paid the bill & left. No one asked why I hadn’t eaten my food, or apologised. Disgusted.....You have the cheek to request a 12.5 gratuity tip, which I can imagine some people don’t notice, no one deserved a tip for the really bad experience my sister & I had. I will not be recommending anyone to visit your restaurant. It’s really gone down hill.

Brilliant food and service as usual at Cote restaurants. Recommended.

A return visit to our local (and favourite) Cote restaurant in Cardiff Bay. 4 of us ate an early lunch at 12.30 from the Daily Menu All 3 courses were delicious and the service was prompt and courteous, as always We will return shortly for their lunchtime Christmas menu!

Wonderful food and atmosphere - an enjoyable time for my birthday. Look forward to returning soon.

Great pre-theatre dinner for our group of 10. Starters were excellent as were desserts and coffees. Our only criticism was that all three rib-eyes were a little hard going, more sinewy and tough in parts than we had expected/hoped. Not enough of a concern to prevent all of us coming back soon.

Beautiful meal for my son and I, fantastic food which was fabulously done and really efficient pre theatre.

Brilliant friendly service, delicious choice of breakfasts, lovely quality ingredients and flexibility with the order. Lovely coffee too and fresh juice! I havent been to Cote for breakfast before but I will definately be back and recommending it to my friends and family.

Always nice, bit overpriced and the added service charge is a bit cheeky

We was very well looked after from start to finish. It was my wife’s birthday and the staff gave us the best table and made a fuss but were there when we needed assistance and out of the way when we needed privacy. They helped make are celebrations start on the right foot.

He went above and beyond to ensure we had the most pleasant evening, which we were so grateful for, especially as we were celebrating a Birthday. We had our meal early evening after the opera.The 4 people in the group chose the chicken which was tasty and nicely cooked but the potatoes were undercooked and one other vegetable on the plate would have added to the meal. It was quite an enjoyable experience but not of the usual standard which we have previously experienced. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere lively and bustling.

Excellent service and delicious food. We went for the fixed price 3 course meal and it was great value and was perfectly cooked to our liking. Brilliant choice and my steak was done just how I like it.

Lovely food, reasonably priced. Staff very attentive, new guy/waiter started there this week from London extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly.

The service was great, the food was tasty and the drinks good as always. UNFORTUNATELY both of us had food poisoning following the visit and spent the rest of the day on and off the toilet. Such a shame. Normally this is one of our favourite restaurants. We will give it another go.

Enjoyed a pre-opera lunch with my partner and our daughter.A lovely busy atmosphere,good food and what really clinches it for Cote are the staff;attentive,pleasant and professional. The food is good French Brasserie style,well executed and presented and dare I say good value for money.

Waitress was very polite & friendly. Food was very good. Overall was a very pleasant experience.

On arrival I discovered that I had sent in a pre-order form from 12 mths ago. ! It could have been a disaster. Luckily I had a hard copy of the correct one with me. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, and took it all in their stride. Everything was served exactly as ordered at just the right time, and our party of 16 had a most enjoyable evening. We'll be back.

Staff very pleasant but, as it was busy, we seemed to get overlooked a little. Food was good but would return on a lunch time or a week day. Saturday night too busy for us.

Our favourite restaurant in the Bay. Automatic choice when visiting Millennium for opera, ballet and shows. Never been disappointed.

Atmosphere was great, staff were very friendly. We spent an hour and quarter having our meal. We didn't feel hurried but the staff were always attentive. Food was delicious.
