Great service and food, I had terrine, prawns and my partner had goats cheese followed by sea bass.

We had a truly wonderful meal. And were very happy with every aspect of it ! Our waitress was lovely so polite, courteous, friendly and very informative. The restaurant is in a superb location. It was all just wonderful! We are looking forward to are next visit!

All round lovely experience . It was my wife’s birthday so we were given complimentary glasses of delicious sparkling wine. The waitress could not have been more attentive and had good knowledge of the menu. It wasn’t to busy so was the service was quick. Highly recommended .

The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and really well presented. The tea was rather weak but this was our only criticism.

Although the restaurant was busy we were served within the time I believe staff should react to their customers. We had two courses prior to our theatre experience, with a mixture for starter and main meal by all our party of 3. The moules as a starter were just warm and I’m sorry to say no bread to ‘sop’ up the juices, all in all I’m afraid I will not be ordering these again, the other two starters were excellent! The main courses had been in the hot cupboard for too long and garnish was limp, more thought must be taken when ordering food in future.

The best steak I’ve eaten - highly recommended. Great meal all round.

Fantastic location, gorgeous food and very professional, attentive, friendly staff. A big shout out to Greg the manager at Cardiff Bay who was very helpful from replying to my first email to ensuring our Christmas tradition family meal was one to remember. Definitely will be returning.

We have been to Cote several times over the past 6 months and thoroughly enjoyed. We switched from "Pierre" to yourselves. However we had a meal on Friday at 5.30pm. Granted the restaurant was busy but I had the prawns which were tasty but unable to flag down our waiter for bread. I then had my usual "vegetarian crepes" and it came mushed and pulped and nothing like it has been in the past so did not enjoy. My friends also commented on the "bony" looking chicken which had little meat. The waiter but was friendly and polite but the food let us down on the visit.

Excellent in all respects, what more is there to say !

Service was poor: we had to ask for one of our drinks a second time; one meal had been missed off the order; had to ask for a spoon to eat the fish stew. The portions were small for the price. However they did not forget to add the (optional) service charge of nearly £30 to the bill, needless to say we didn't pay it. Overall a disappointing experience, will think twice about returning.

Calamari very overcooked but changed quickly and was as good as always, chateaubriand was amazing

We had excellent service. The food was good. The wine was excellent. It was a friendly relaxed atmosphere and becasue it wasn't noisy, we could have a conversation and be heard.

Came early , but still had lovely welcome & good table & lots of time to choose food. We opted for 3 course special which was beautifully cooked & very very tasty . Must compliment you on your staff , they make the meal memorable.

Service good but lacking in Xmas atmosphere and our waiter disappeared partway through meal. Difficult catching attention of other waiters for further service.

We had a really lovely meal before watching a show over the road in the Millenium Theatre. We can't fault in any way the food, service or the restaurant and we will definately be back. Thanks and well done to all of those staff making this place amazing.

My daughter and I had an ok meal at the restaurant,a little bit overpriced for a lunch time menu. The optional service charge is ridiculous for lunch,needless to say we didn’t pay it,we left our own tip.

Always enjoy a visit to Cote Cardiff Bay but a bit disappointed today 1) steak frite was not up to usual standard and 2) our table was in a draughty and cold position.

Service and food were excellent. Quite noisy. No soft furnishings to absorb the sound is my only criticism. Anyone with a hearing loss would find it difficult to hear.

One of the party had to return her steak as she asked for medium but it came rare.

We were a group of10 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food which was excellent value. Friendly efficient staff. Full marks all round apart from noise level which, bearing in mind that it was the run up to Christmas and there was a large table with noisy guests opposite us, was to be expected. Otherwise excellent service and value as usual.

My partner and I ordered from the Prestige set menu. The meal and service were both great. We really enjoyed ourselves as always. We have been to Cote on a few occasions now and have always had a most enjoyable evening. Their breakfasts are really good aswell.
