Food and service was really good, however due to volume of noise coming from a nearby table we were unable to have a conversation on our table

I love this restaurant - great food and atmosphere - I have marked it down today as two of the December specials weren't available - which meant I couldn't take advantage of their pre 7.00pm deal - bit poor - one was French Onion Soup.

Usual standard , we eat here whenever we are in Cardiff Bay as it’s far and away the best place to eat , superb every time

Well worth the visit excellent meal good steak and wine paired by cotes ,pepper sauce best I have had in years, will be my destination next visit to cardiff

Visited with my husband as a pre theatre meal. All courses were beautifully cooked and very tasty. The creme caramel was delightful.A very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return.

The service was excellent. We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our table very quickly. The waiter was very attentive. Food was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Good service during a busy lunch Christmas time. Menu was a good choice for a set menu and good value for money. Service charge is included in the bill so check carefully.

Went here and had the 3 course set menu which is very good value for money. We both had the steak frites which was fine. Would visit again.

Lovely restaurant and service with it, didn’t have to wait long between meals, main meal was hot when served and delicious, definitely recommend it to others

Steak was tough, could taste fat. French waitress made us feel as though we should hurry up & choose our food, we could see you were busy. It wasn’t the usual stress free atmosphere. The soup was the best part of the meal. Will go back to city centre next time as I don’t think The Bay is as good.

As usual first class food and service. When visiting the theatre wouldn’t eat any where else. Classic French bistro food reasonable priced and good house Côte du Rhône.

Excellent lunch today with my friends in Cote Cardiff Bay. Lovely food, good quality and well judged portions. The service was attentive and timely. The free Kir Royale for my birthday was a nice touch.

Staff were very friendly, made us feel welcome and relaxed. Great food and feel of the restraint was relaxed. Would recommend to anyone. We will be returning

Food tasted good but could have been hotter. Whole experience felt rather rushed. Very convenient for the Welsh Millennium Centre and parking in multistorey car Park (A little expensive). Set three course menu is good value for money.

Massive choice of food - this time of year there was a Christmas special, the standard a la carte menu and a specials board. The food was piping hot and very tasty. We use Cote a lot!

We regularly visit the Cote Brasserie in Cardiff and would always rate a 5 star both on service and quality, but our visit to your restaurant in the bay was very disappointing. My mum ordered the Lamb Parmentier shepherd's which arrived burnt and was very dry as was the two other chicken breast meals. This is such a shame as we have always enjoyed visiting your restaurants, it was extremely busy and I must say the service was friendly and efficient.

The food was excellent as usual. All the staff are always friendly and helpful and atmosphere is relaxed. Will be back on many more occasions.

This is an excellent restaurant. Staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food is always amazing and gluten free comes with a gluten free flag which is so reassuring. We eat here a lot for this reason as well as it being so good.

Very good food and wine with excellent service. We visited on a busy Saturday, would highly recommend eating here. The menu was varied and had something for everyone.

We had to wait a long time between the starter and main course. We had made it known that we were off to the theatre but it made little difference. The main course had to be eaten quicker rather than taking our time. No dessert as we needed to leave for the theatre. I love cote and the food but the timing of the food arriving has been off in the past 2 visits.

Pleasant experience. Staff friendly and helpful. Good choice of menus to suit all tastes. Service reasonably quick although we were a little rushed to get to a concert for 7.30 having arrived at 6. Food of good quality.

Decent food, nice ambiance, dessert a little overpriced. Steak not cooked quite to my liking. Service charge of 10% added to the bill based a table of 2 seems a bit excessive. No real service provided!

Service was excellent. Both my wife and I ordered fillet steak medium - rare - Mine was bloody when cut into but my wife's was fine. I suppose I should have complained but I did not.

Went for lunch on a Sunday. We received a warm welcome, ate excellent food (no complaints from any of our party over 3 courses!) and the service was fantastic, all in a very relaxed environment. Couldn't fault it.

Cote Brasserie is usually our first choice - either in the Bay or in the City Centre - when we're going to a concert or show. Their 'early evening' two-course offer is a real bargain, and we've never been disappointed - the food is really delicious, whether on the 'offer' or from the a la carte menu. The wines are also excellent. The staff are invariably polite and helpful. Can't fault it in any way.

The food was good as it always is at Cotes. The staff were very pleasant and respectful. The service however was slow and not a patch on the sister restaurant in the City centre.

Cote provides a consistent quality of food. Cardiff Bay service was rxcellent - it was attentive when needed but the waiters gave us space to enjoy our meal.

Food is lovely with a good selection. We went for the Christmas menu which we enjoyed and thought was really good value for money. Staff were helpful and friendly. You must book to avoid disappointment. We will be returning soon.

Really enjoyed our time at Cote Brassiere on Thursday evening. Very quiet when we first got there but it soon filled up and the atmosphere was great. The service was very good and the staff very attentive. Food was first class.

In the main the food was good and the staff very welcoming and attentive. However we were disappointed with the Cassoulet which was a November special. Not very authentic and too dry and the croutons a little burned. Also your entry door has a problem and does not close properly and the draught was very uncomfortable. It was a very cold night!!!

French themed brasserie, pleasantly situated in Cardiff Bay. Food and service are good, but not outstanding. We had the boudon noir and calamari to start, the former a little overdone. The calamari was fresh and well cooked, however. We had beef fillet for mains, both cooked to order although not the best cuts, or tastiest. Desserts of coupe noir and chocolate fondant were ok.

Great food - loved the November set menu. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere as usual. We were eating pre-theatre and the service kept pace with our schedule.
