Excellent service and really tasty food. Speed was brilliant as well. Would recommend eating there as venue is lovely with a great atmosphere. Desserts are amazing.

The staff were excellent. The meals were average. We chose from the veggie menu and the choices looked excellent but the reality was less good. My meal was supposed to have puy lentils but they were red. The portion was a bit skimpy. My wife's meal had sausages and far too many potatoes.

Good atmosphere. Service was ok not all our meal arrived at the same time! Steak wasn’t the best and don’t forget to check your bill at the end! They charged us twice for the item they initially forgot when pointed out it was quickly rectified with apologies.

A good service for a late booking on Fathers Day. Busy and a little noisy so difficult to meet with old friends but a reasonable meal

Our table wasn’t ready but the manager was very apologetic and we were offered a free round of drinks. We didn’t have to wait long and had an excellent meal as always.

We had a lovely warm welcome and were shown to a nice table by the window. The food was up to the usual high standard and the choice was excellent. We had a three course lunch from the set menu and it was extremely good value. On a miserable Wednesday afternoon the restaurant was packed -a sign of how good it is. The waitress was helpful yet unobtrusive. We will be back!

booked for an early dinner with work colleagues and we were as usual, delighted. Excellent quality of food - and a fantastic waiter! didn't get his name but he was wonderful! we weren't rushed at all. a very enjoyable experience!

We enjoyed a delicious relaxed meal, served by 3 charming staff members, with lovely views of life passing by along Mermaid Quay and lots of banter going on between the many diners who were looking forward to The Rolling Stones concert later. Good food, good wine, good service, nice ambience, no real major problems. I had the grilled sardines followed by the sea bream. Server was Emma - kind, courteous, laidback.

Very pleasant staff,food good. Bit tricky with pram for waiting staff. Toilet hygiene could be improved and provision of mother and baby changing facilities would be very helpful. Would return.

Service was unusually slow, although the food was up to the normal high standard. The free bottle of rose wine was not offered but needed asking for.

The Cote at Cardiff Bay is in a good location and has a pleasant if at times noisy ambience. The staff are invariably courteous and friendly and offer good service. The menu is varied but not excessive and the quality of the food served is very good. We have dined there at least three times and have always enjoyed the experience. We therefore fully recommend it to others.

Have visited London (various) , Windsor, Liverpool and now Cardiff, Cote restaurants offer good food and are always great value for money with excellent service, professional friendly staff. I can't wait to visit again.

Generally fine, but I think that some croutons for my sister-in-law and a cousin were excessively hard, my cousin-in-law had to wait too long for her main ( I think ) course and I had to find a member of staff to ask for side plates for bread and for more wine. But generally fine.

Booked for my husbands birthday - we were given a great table with lots of space and complimentary Kir Royale. The food was all delicious and the staff friendly, helpful and efficient. A delightful birthday meal.Highly recommended!

On a beautiful sunny morning Cardiff Bay is a great place to be and a good breakfast always helps. My partner and I are frequent visitors to Cote but today I decided to go for something different, the vegetarian breakfast. The meal west excellent with really fresh flavours that left you satisfied but not overloaded.the service as usual was terrific!

It was our second visit with in 10 days after visit to the Mellenium Centre, we were really pleased with the quality of the food and of the excellent service of staff. We will definitely be visiting again and recommend to friends.

A very nice evening prior to the theatre. Food was nice in a lovely position near to the Millennium centre. Not an inexpensive meal, but reasonable quality. I feel the portion sizes need to be looked at for the price though especially the fries, that come with the steaks, very small portion? The prices are really bumped up by the sides, which you'll definitely need at least 1..!

Great food and atmosphere. Plenty of choice on menu. Staff were very friendly and efficient and our waitress gave us good advice on our wine choice. Would return again

Our food was excellent, but the service was a little slow - quite possibly contributed to by the fantastic weather and the number of people out and about.

Swift service, plentiful starters with calamari and crab mayonnaise followed by Breton fish stew and pork belly washed down with a very acceptable Sancerre. Attentive yet non intrusive service - waitress appeared and topped up wine glasses sans fuss. Go here and enjoy!

Lovely food, would highly recommend. Lots of lovely dishes on the menu, food was quick, very hot and tasty. The bread was over looked, but that didn’t spoil our experience.

As always the food was excellent and well presented. The service was good despite the restaurant being very busy. I would suggest that people book, especially if you are eating pre theatre.

Excellent meal and service except when I was presented with the bill I was not told there would be an included 12.5% service charge. I found it too embarrassing being in company to send the waiter back to create another bill. It is excessive and should have been pointed out to me when I requested the bill I know if no other restaurants in Cardiff who employ this practice

The service has been lovely. Good service. Food was amazing although can be served warmer. Drink is amazing. Good selection of choices of dessert. Overall a good experience!

A perfect meal before going to a show. Staff are always efficient and friendly and food fantastic nothing is ever too much trouble and we look forward to dining here again soon.
