Excellent service and a great location. Meal was good and the price was reasonable. Great ambiance. Booking process was efficient. I would recommend to others.

Good tasty food and friendly, attentive staff. Couldn’t ask for more. Never dissapointed with our visits to Cote. The a la carte menu and set menus have a good choice, something to suit everyone.

Fantastic choice and service and made changes to the dishes to accommodate dairy free needs. I would highly recommend this restaurant great value for the quality of the food

It was a very busy evening due to the Eisteddfod so there were a few delays and mix-ups , all dealt with with charm and good humour and our waitress was delightful. We all enjoyed our gin and tonics and thought the food was very good. Will definitely return!

I have had lovely meals at Cote in Cardiff Centre but I was a little disappointed with Cardiff Bay. The starters were very nice but the Sirloin steak was cold and dry like it had been left standing for some time and definitely didn't taste or feel like it had come from the grill. Its a shame the chefs didn't pay a little more attention

Service was not attentive enough, staff require further training. Run out of desserts on the set menu did not offer an alternative.management need to review service and revise accordingly.

It was an extremely busy night in Cardiff Bay and Côte was packed. The service on such a hectic night was fantastic - fast, efficient and friendly. And the food was absolutely great. Excellent value for money too.

Warming welcome on arrival, excellent service and interest in their customers by the waitstaff. Food was as described well cooked and presented. I definitely expect to visit Cote again in the future

Poor table service, specifically slow to remove the dishes, clean the table, and respond to requests. This restaurant follows the ‘fashion’ for supplying table water in bottles, filled on the premises. These containers are cleaned on site, and as it is not possible to clean and inspect these containers it it likely that quality control will be absent with regard to cleanliness. Due to the Eisteddfod, adjacent to the restaurant at this time the music, being loud, and restaurant windows fully open, talk at table was virtually impossible. Overall I will not re visit this place.

Excellent food, lovely service form friendly staff. A wonderful evening out, topped with the very kind gesture of a complimentary bottle of bubbly as we were celebrating my parents Golden Wedding anniversary. Thank you very much!

The evening we went the Eistedfodd was on in Cardiff Bay wihthmany noisy activities just outside the restaurant. All very busy and slightly hectic - but the staff coped very well, and as usual we had a reliably good meal and an enjoyable evening.

Great food, great wine. Duck was cooked pink - just like it should be. Friendly service. We weren’t made to wait long for our food despite it being busy. Will be back soon!

Very attentive service, and good food. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special on our wedding anniversary. I would highly recommend this restaurant which provides good quality food and excellent value for money.

Placed next to an extremely busy staff prep area . We asked to move and from the attitude of the member of staff this was an inconvenience. Food was fine but certainly not good value . A plain burger in a bioche bun with tomato and onion on the side and fries for 11.50 was not worth it ! Nothing to write home about . No return planned.

Lovely food. The set menu is quite good value. I particularly recommend the creme caramel! Staff are very friendly and attentive. Don’t sit under the air con units unless you have a cardigan!

Ok, but nothing special. I have been to many branches of Cotes and the steak frites is always perfectly served as requested - medium rare. This was well done. No basil detected in the tomato salad with basil. Yes, we did mention the above and there was a polite response. Overall underwhelming. Shame as Cote usually a favourite.

I feel insulted by the automatic tip added to my bill. Pay your staff a decent wage and leave me to decide if I wish to tip the waiter. Service was as expected, not exceptional.

Service was rather slow. Food was good especially the cod. Dessert ,peach crumble ,would have been better with fresh fruit. Coffee good. Drinks quite expensive.

Lovely meal, good staff, but very noisy, considering it was only partly full. Never appreciate the 12.5% gratuity added. Would prefer to give what we think is deserved. I know we have a choice to ignore it, but once it’s been added to your bill, the damage is done.

Good welcome, made you feel as though they were glad to see you. Service in general was prompt and staff helpful and pleasant, without being intrusive. Good menu choice, food was very enjoyable.

The potatoes were dry, the beans undercooked and the chicken arrived Ina greasy sauce. The waitress was very accommodating and offered to change the potatoes. I normally enjoy the food nut not on this occasion.

Amazing food. No-one at our table had a negative word to say. Every dish was delicious and the portions were perfectly sized. The creme caramel was one of the best I've had. The caramel was perfect against the smooth creaminess. Service was warm and welcoming and efficient.

We went lunchtime with friends. We all had an excellent three course meal. The service and staff were first rate. The surroundings are very comfortable and convivial. It all proved to be an extremely enjoyable afternoon. Would recommend Cotes Cardiff Bay unreservedly.

We were early for our booking but were accommodated without fuss. Good food. Good service. Good wine. What else would one want for a (49th wedding anniversary lunch?

Early evening before show at the WMC - restaurant naturally busy but staff efficient and service good. Was advised that as we had gone straight to mains the wait would be 20 minutes but in the end it was about 15 so no drama. Overall good standard just wish they would leave it to the customer to add any discretionary tip, not just add it at the bottom of the bill.

Excellent service and good quality food at a reasonable price. Cant ask for better than that on a busy Saturday evening. Won’t hesitate to recommend!

We booked for 12oclock today and discovered that breakfast was available until 1pm. We had a delicious breakfast, which included orange juice and a hot drink. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service was excellent. Very good value for money.

The steak in the fixed price menu steak frite was very fatty. The service was good if a little brisk. At one time felt we were going to be in and out faster than Macdonalds.

Delightful and convenient venue for Prix fixe theatre supper. Can't fault value for money. Cool but extremely efficient service . Overall experience very good. Have used before and will visit again.

Very busy and noisy in the restaurant which made conversation a slight problem. Acoustics are not good when the place is full. Service excellent as always. Both of us went for one of the main course specials ( steak au poivre ). Thr rib eye steak was excellent but both felt it had been ' over peppered ' which almost ruined the taste of the steak. It was eye watering !!! Excellent bottle of Cote de Rhone wine.

Fabulous food, excellent service. An outstanding night out. The only downside, if I’m being picky, is that it’s very noisy when full -but hey, that’s because everyone is having a great time.

Despite very good & personal service from our server we were disappointed with the quality of the cooking. The restaurant was very busy & we think that this may have been a problem
