We had the lunchtime 3 course menu. We had calamari, steak and chocolate mousse. The food was so good. There was plenty of it and the quality was superb. We felt very relaxed. The service was great. Will definitely visit again.

Service was very good and polite. We both chose the set lunch menu which was tasty and ample. The restaurant was very busy as it is a very popular choice!

Friendly, efficient service. Lively and enjoyable atmosphere. Quality of meals was-quite good. I have eaten more often in the Mill Street branch and the food always seems better than in the restaurant in the Bay. Over-priced wine list. Our Cotes du Rhone was mediocre.

Excellent food. Polite and attentive service on the whole apart from fact that waiter did not bring the second bottle of water requested. But we did not allow it to mar the overall quality of the dining experience.

Very welcoming from the moment you walked in. Service was second to none. We were there for lunch my chicken salad with walnuts was wonderful and my husbands burger was incredibly large and very tasty. Highly recommend.

Arrived at 6 to a very busy restaurant.Seated very quickly and order taken but at 7 we had only just had the first 2 courses which were delicious but service was slow.I wolfed down a pudding and we just made it to the show for 7.30.Check your bill - they had priced the pudding separately instead of doing it as part of the 3course.Would still go again.Good value but service charge is expensive.

Very poor. Supposed to be Prestige menu but my fish tasted as if it had been re-heated (and the after effects suggested the same!), while my partner's steak was fat and tough. Won't be going to Cote again.

Always reliable, never amazing, but never lets you down, the food is always cooked to a good standard although they seem to overcook the chicken. Their bellypork and fish is always good

As always, wonderful attentive service and good value I am not sure how Cote manage to get such good local ownership into a chain, but they manage it, which is fairly unique in this day and age

A Busy session pre theatre. We had 1 hour, but our table was ready, and were served quickly and efficiently. The food and wine as usual were first class.

Usually a great place to eat but my steak was extremely tough and half of it had to be left on the plate. The service was great and they gave us some money off the bill and apologised.

Lovely pre-theatre meal with family. Good choice of food and drink and everybody was happy with their choice. Attentive waiter. Would have preferred not to have been sitting next to the entrance to the bathrooms - but didn't ask to moved. Would do if seated here again.

We are regular customers of Côte at Cardiff bay. And on all our visits the food and service has been first class. If your visiting the Millennium theatre this is the place for your pre theatre lunch or dinner. Lovely unhurried atmosphere the staff are attentive but not overly so. The Breton fish stew in particular is truly wonderfull. Also watch out for their monthly specials.

last night was disappointing. male waiters were surly, and kept us waiting over 30 minutes after completing our main course to clear the dirty dishes. They were rude when requested to do so. It was impossible to catch their eye, they deliberately avoid you which is poor and frustrating, especially as we were entertaining guests from Canada. Food good as usual, but annoyed at the automatically added service charge .

A second visit in short succession to the Cardiff Bay restaurant. All 4 of us had excellent service and very tasty meals, mainly from the "Prestige" menu. The only criticism is that Cote gives each person THREE separate menus from which to chose. It would be much simpler to have a main menu plus one for daily specials

Service was a bit slow and my tuna was a bit dry. A little more attention to detail from the kitchen and a clearer steer from staff about what to expect in terms of timescales might help. Overall it was alright and the staff were very pleasant.

main course from £12 menu was good .We thought the dessert options were too limited. The service was poor and we felt rushed to complete our meal in time for theatre visit. we objected to the optional service charge was not fair and not deserved. we would dine again there but leave more time and be more selective with our choices.
