We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. It was my husband’s birthday and he was delighted when we were presented with an aperitif. We both chose different meals and wine but tasted each other’s. Our clean plates indicated how pleased we were with the food. The service was friendly and efficiently.

Food superb and service faultless, a lovely evening had by all 15 of us. Just a bit of a faff at the end with our (huge) bill. But the staff were absolutely amazing. Thank them from us all

Great welcome. Beautiful tasting food. We had the weekend special chicken with added finger carrots, followed by profiteroles which had vanilla ice cream filling and a chocolate and hazelnut sauce. Ended with two lattes. Yum! Excellent waiter / waitress service.

For a party of 5 the service was extremely slow. We had 2 courses all starters and mains, with the service taking 2 hours in total. The food was all very nice and of good quality, however the slow service did let the whole experience down.

Enjoyed lunch with friends, with excellent free wine for signing up for emails. Our fault that we didn't read the small print about not including the set lunch menu, but actually really liked the huge gluten free choice on the a la carte. I loved the crepes with cheese sauce, mushroom and spinach as this is rarely available GF. Also mega impressed with staff training re: serving gluten free dishes. Other places I have been might serve 'no gluten containing ingredients' but then server contaminates through poor hygiene practices. Very pleasantly surprised, will definitely be back.

I have been to this restaurant many times but last night found it very cold. Air conditioning left on too long, Party of five ladies needed to put coats on.

I booked a booth but it was still occupied when we arrived. The staff handled it so well - explained why there was a delay , gave us menus and glasses of fizz to keep us happy- which we were !

As always Cardiff Bay Côte excelled, great food and service!

5 stars for the food. Excellent as usual. Really enjoyed the crab mayonnaise, moules frites and the creme brûlée. Also enjoyed the free aperitif. But the noise level increased as the restaurant filled up to a very uncomfortable level. Some people next to us even moved outside because of it. Also a visit to the Ladles toilet was quite unpleasant with lots of toilet paper over the floor, the hand towel bin was overflowing and at least one toilet without any paper. These factors would seriously affect our decision whether to visit you again on a busy weekend. 🙁

We love all of the Cote restaurants we ever visit. But Cardiff Bay is The Best!!!!

Really hot day but nice and cool inside staff, food and service could not fault hope to come back soon.

Had a fabulous lunch the only thing that slightly let it down was the waitress who was a bit grumpy and we had to ask someone else to clear our table and for the bill.

lovely evening at Cote Cardiff bay. tried the French Onion soup for the first time was really lovely.

It was a celebration of my Grandmothers 80th Birthday and the staff were extremely lovely, going out of their way to make the meal special. they even placed a box of chocolates and a card on the table for when we arrived. The food was okay however the vegetarian mozzarella and mushroom salad was disappointing, it looked unappetising and it was basically just lettuce with one greasy mushroom and a ball of mozzarella - was very tasteless.

Customer Service 10/10 - Fish Parmentier was swimming in oil - this was very unusual for Cote Brasserie. There was no fuss the staff took the dish away and offered me an alternative. This would not stop me visiting the restaurant in the future.

The staff arranged a lovely birthday surprise for my daughter. They were very efficient and friendly. The food was great. Best pre-theatre lunch in the Bay.

A great place to eat before a night at the theatre. Lovely greeting on arrival, great service and a very well prepared steak! We will return soon!

Good staff great food a bit slow with the main course but l would definitely go back for another visit
