Really great pre show meal, great food and good service, value for money

Our favourite Cotes Cardiff Bay as overall the restaurant has a really nice feel and service is always first class

Excellent food-atmosphere really good until some customers started using bad language - staff ignored it. If in France we would have baguette throughout - we missed this since we are fans of France and this prevented us pretending that we were in Honfleur.

It was very busy,pre performance WMC- but service efficient , food very good. 😁

Fab evening, fab food served quickly and without fuss as we were a party of 14 there pre theatre. Picky eaters catered for and the chicken supreme and tarte au citron were delicious

Firstly let me start by saying the food & wine was excellent. However, my big bugbear is when the main course is brought out before the starter is cleared away. On this occasion my friend & I shared some bread & she was made to hold the board up out of the way whilst our mains were served - luckily we had finished but nobody had checked. Our main courses however were fantastic. We were kept waiting to pay our bill, infact we actually had to track someone down on our way out to pay - good job we're honest! Also, the toilets are not of a standard that I would expect. Clearly not checked regularly - blocked, lots of empty toilet rolls littering the cubicles & the hand towel station overflowing with used hand towels.

Really great food and excellent service. Unsure of the name of our server but she was great. She was friendly and efficient without being over powering. She was genuinely friendly and it made for a great lunch experience.

Pleasant ambiance, no noisy music, very polite and helpful staff. Food pretty good too!

Prestige set menu was top notch! Service great and lovely place. There were some Christmas parties going on and was quiet noisy, mentioned to the waitress as a joke, she brought us a glass of red wine each to apologise with our desserts. Thank you! We will definitely return 🤠

Arrived at 1215, soaking wet. Initially I thought the immediate attention was good - needed a drink - but in the end felt we were being rushed. We came for the theatre, like most there, and looking for an hour and a half dining, and like most, achieved the target. My wife had the tenderloin, which she loved. I was passed a taster, and agreed. I chose the grilled Poulet. My fault, don't usually choose chicken because I find it taste- lacking. Apparently should have a had the Breton chicken for flavour. Hey ho, it was my choice. Pleasant place to be, staff friendly and wine good. We would use the Cardiff restaurant again.

Food was good. Service was quick and our waiter very friendly and pleasant. The table we sat at was very draughty every time the door was opened. As the restaurant filled up we found the noise level increased.

Came here before a show at the Millenium centre. Overall we thouroughly enjoyed the whole time there. Staff were excellent, food was lovely, and the atmosphere was good too!

Food and service has dropped in quality in recent years. Pasta was too thick, other food was 'ok'. Service didn't make up for it either. Felt ignored most of the evening and that the waiter was too busy to serve us properly.

We were late arriving because our taxi dropped us off at the wrong place, so we were very stressed when we arrived. You’re staff were delightful and reassured us it was not a problem. Very thoughtfully gave us a glass of wine to settle our nerves! The food was the best we have ever had at any other Cote restaurant, it was on a par with some of the best restaurants we ate at. Wonderful meal. Catered to our every need and dietary requirements. Perfect spot for decadent evening out. Most extensive Gluten Free menu we’ve ever found. Will definitely be returning, feel like we found a real hidden gem!

Came as a christmas meal with work. We were sat & provided the prestige lunch menus as well as the a la carte menu. We had previously looked online and were hoping to either order from the Christmas menu, or the December lunch menu. We queried where the December lunch menu was and was advised by the member of staff that they only do the prestige lunch menu during the month of December. Upon leaving, I checked the menus on the outside of the door & found that the December lunch menu was clearly on display. I am disappointed in this service as this feels like a blatant lie told as the Prestige menu is more expensive than the December Lunch menu. We were within the time frames to use thsi one so I'm not sure why it wasn't put on offer to us. I would like to complain about this. Overall, the food was good but was not what we had planned.

All 9 of us enjoyed our meal. The service was polite, prompt and efficient.

First class, our meal was exceptional and the waiter (Antonio) and staff were a amazing they could not have been more accommodating. Very relaxed venue can’t praise it high enough will definitely be returning yet again, this restraints never fails to deliver
