Party of 24, served promptly with no confusion or errors - excellent food, hot and well presented. Attentive and professional service from all staff.

Eat here regularly ( lunch again on Monday) only decent place to eat down the bay. Lovely staff . Just think it’s a bit expensive plus drink prices when you add the service charge are definitely overpriced. However appreciate the regular offers you send via email.

Excellent family meal to celebrate a special birthday.... We had three courses, three bottles of wine and bill came to about £30 a head. The best dishes were the chicken liver parfait, Breton chicken with various sauces and the superb creme brulee. Only complaints were toast with the parfait was a little over done and the side order of French beans was also overcooked.

My Wife and her sister both enjoyed their meals at 4:30 pm Saturday, and also my brother and I had a great time at 7pm. We are all looking forward to coming back again. Our thanks to all the staff Regards Phil Lewis

Excellent meal my ribeye steak was one of the best I’ve ever tasted! It’s always a pleasure to visit Cote in Cardiff bay staff always make you feel welcome.

We enjoyed a very tasty pre-theatre lunch which was excellent value for money. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy, the service was excellent, our waiter was very pleasant and polite.

As always, a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere with nice helpful waiting staff. A pity 2 of the the 3 advertised main course specials were unavailable; especially so early in the evening..

For the first time ever I was disappointed in a visit to Cote. We booked a table for a meal after seeing a performance at the Millennium Centre. The service was, as usual friendly, prompt and efficient and the atmosphere was lovely as it was between performances at the Centre, a very busy time. My husband had the three course set menu and was really happy with it. I always have the Roast Duck with cherries from the a la carte menu, and was horrified to see that it was no longer on the list. I always choose this when I visit Cote because I love duck and there are very few places that serve it and also do it so well - I was once served overcooked duck breast that had obviously been cooked on th same griddle as beef, it tasted of barbecued steak. I then chose guinea hen balontine from the specials menu. Beautifully cooked but so salty, perhaps because of the bacon it was wrapped in, that it burnt my tongue and I was unable to finish it. I checked on your website and the duck breast is still available at other locations. A big disappointment - I had been looking forward to the meal as much as the show - Les Miserables! I'll keep my fingers crossed that it will be restored to the menu.

The meal was lovely, but I was a bit disconcerted/disappointed that a couple were seated right next to us, when the restaurant was virtually empty. I felt we were on a table for four, instead of a romantic night out for two....I was very uncomfortable. I didn’t like to say anything, in case I appeared rude...

Acknowledging the restaurant had been busy due to Christmas and the Les Mis performance that night, a few items on the menu were unavailable at only 19:30 and service clearing the table after each course was slow. The quality of my ribeye was also a little poor being flat and chewy! The desserts were however very good with the majority of our party of 6 choosing creme caramel.

We had a lovely meal but did not receive the free 125ml drinks that were stated on the New Year’s Eve menu. With it being a busy time of year it was a little noisy but the food was delicious service a little slow at times but overall enjoyed the experience and may go again in the new year.

It was a very busy pre theatre service, but our waitress Kriszty was absolutely fantastic. She was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, helping to make our overall dining experience very enjoyable.
