Myself & my husband took my parents 86 & 89. They love going to Côte down the Bay sitting at table 44. The food was excellent & the staff were welcoming, warm attentive and friendly. Lovely evening out.

Service was slow and disinterested . Food was ok but overpriced adding sides to make main of over £15-17 . Dessert was good. We won't be trying again

Excellent meal, pork belly was delicious, my friend's steak was great! Great staff, very attentitive and all reasonably priced. Always a good atmosphere in Cote at Cardiff Bay. Well done, I'll be back in a few weeks to do it all again.

Friendly welcome, attentive service (but not over the top), and the right time left between courses. We had a pre theatre sitting and arrived earlier than most, so felt we didn’t have to rush, or wait too long between courses. The noise level crept up as the restaurant filled and the acoustics made it a bit noisy - as expected. Delicious food! Portion sizes just right (we ate from the set menu). We will definitely return and recommend.

We really enjoyed the visit. The food was excellent, so was the service from the friendly staff,and everything was reasonably priced.

Food was over seasoned when it arrived. Ordered dessert at start of meal as we had a leave quickly, and then we were asked to reorder at the end of the main course forcing us to cancel.

Always reliable staff friendly and efficient. Food definitely one of the best multiples for quality and presentation. Great value for money.

The service was incredible as always, But this vistist we left a little disappointed as the food wasn't usually the standard we'd expect from cote which is a shame sadly.

Yer always love Cote in Cardiff Bay. Consistently excellent food and service. Exceptionally good waitress tonight as well. Slightly disappointed We didn’t get the table I’d requested when I’d bkd over a week ago, but it was very busy so hey ho, still, another great meal in this superb restaurant.

Service was excellent really lovely waitress, but the tables are far too close to each other, could not have a private conversation. Also there was a terrible draught when diners entered. When I asked for lime cordial I was told there wasn't any! In an establishment as big as yours I thought that was a poor show. No complaints about the food though.

Excellent venue, menu and service as well as value for money

The food was very nice and their was a good buzz about the restaurant. The staff were terrific! Our waiter was fantastic and when I asked him about doing something for my girlfriends' birthday, he brought out her dessert with a candle in it ! it was a nice touch which she appreciated. Would go again.

Another great supper at Cote. Delicious food, nice wine (as it was their January sale diners were offered a complimentary bottle). Unrushed attentive service. Reasonable price. What’s not to like?!

Great stop off before a show, food as always top class with attentive friendly efficient service

We have always enjoyed our previous visits to Cote, however tonight we were very disappointed with the vegetarian main meal that was served cold. When replaced it was not fully satisfactory on taste or presentation and out of sync with the rest of the table. However the front of house personnel worked hard to recover the situation by showing empathy and trying to rectify the situation. We will return to the restaurant in the future.

Excellent service from start to finish. We didn’t wait at all. We were served our 2 courses and coffee - all in plenty of time to visit the WMC after. Faultless!
