great meal the enormous sharing desert plate really made the evening special regularly go to cote... only twice has cote food let us down Valentines menu made a very effective meal
Pleasant staff, good food, excellent coffee and a comfortable environment makes this restaurant our first choice for lunch when we are in Camden, visiting our daughter. I also like having "optional" service added to the bill, which saves all the business of asking how to add a tip when paying by credit card, or routing around for enough small change etc. On this visit, one of the starters (which we had all ordered) wasn't available. The waitress didn't know this when we ordered and the manageress had to inform us afterwards and give the menus back, so we could choose an alternative. We like Côte generally and if we come across a branch, we will always use it for lunch, breakfast, or just coffee, wherever we are in the UK
Absolutely amazing food! Kudos to the chef! Also, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and the service was fantastic! Will definitely recommend to friends and return often!
I took four friends to Cote for my 75th birthday and we had an excellent time. Our server was called Vanessa and the other server, a young man, were both attentive. Very good food, and I got the table that I had requested. Thank you Cote, Parkway.
A perfect evening from start to finish! 5 star service from attentive, experienced staff and the al acarte menu was rather spoiling. We will definitely return to this candle lit cosy Côte in Camden.
This was a very pleasant occasion. Excellent meal with extremely good service. Thank you for the Kir Royales. Thank you also for the little birthday cake, complete with candle. This was a very nice touch to the end of a most enjoyable meal.
We had a wonderful night out! Staff were very attentive and we got a very quiet table just as we requested. Food was coming at perfect time, and the whole experience was fantastic
great place for dinner with friends - service food & wine are all fab
Very sad that this restaurant has now closed. It was by far my favourite Cote.
I came with my niece, and we had a really good meal.A good way to start the New Year!
Excellent food and service. A delightful evening.. good atmosphere. One of the best value restaurants in the area. You wouldn’t know it was a chain
We come here because the service, ambience and food are consistently good; we have yet to have a disappointing meal and the menu has a wide range of brasserie type food. Lunch time menu is especially good value.
The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and I would love to come back and to recommend this restaurant to friends.
Very nice helpful staff and great food - what's not to like? We had some friends with us who were hard of hearing and they found us a quiet table. I've been to Cote many times so that speaks for itself.
Great place, delicious food and good service. Would recommend anyone who is looking for a cozy place to spend a quality time with friends or family.
Really good food, explained we were in a rush and they were super fast
Unusually quiet for Côte but maybe it’s New Year. Food consistently good as always but service a tony but sluggish at times. Shouldn’t have sat at the back!
Delicious food, lovely decor and setting. Think their lunch set menu is amazing value. Definitely recommend coming here with friends or on your own. I’ll be back soon.
A great location off the main Street in Camden. Set menu was superb and service exemplary.
As always I enjoy our visits to Côte camden the food is very good and perfectly suits our taste and we look forward to the January menu
Four of us visited the Camden restaurant for an early dinner on NYE. We ordered from the set NYE menu and my guests opted for the recommended wine pairings (one glass with each course). I was the only non-French person in the group. My guests were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and especially the wine, which according to them, was as fine as any wine in France. They were also very impressed by the quality of the food, the freshness of the fish and the melange of flavours in each dish. They were convinced that the chef was either French or trained in France. Thanks Cote, for making me look good! I ordered Crab Mayonnaise, Duck Confit and Chocolate Fondant with Cinnamon ice cream. I found each dish to be lovely and the entire meal was very filling, which I was pleasantly surprised by. Our waitress (a young black girl with a lovely charming way about her) gave us excellent service, but her shift finished before we could thank her personally - that was our only regret for the night! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Food was OK, but service a little slow. On first arrival i was standing for a minute waited to be seated, and being as there was no actual reception desk at the door, was just waiting in the middle of the restaurant - most uncomfortable. Once seated with a menu it was 10 minutes before my order was taken, despite the restaurant seemingly less that 50% full. The French onion soup was very tasty, but on the cool side. When my main arrived (Duck) i found it to be barely warm as I ate the first slices and peices of potato. Credit to the the restuarant, they took it away and (hopefully) prepared a fresh, warm dish which I then enjoyed. Overall not impressed, but if the food is served propmptly and not allowed to cool it is very tasty.
In the Brighton Cote we were offered the Early Supper menu. In Camden I had to ask for ask it. Very good value!! Lovely staff.
The service was attentive while giving us time to have a leisurely evening. Our order had quite a few mistakes, they forgot my chosen sauce for my steak and my coffee at the end. I choose not to mention this as by this point it was too late. They were friendly and the welcoming. The food was good. Thank you.
First visit to this branch of Cote having been to many others . Quiet Tuesday evening and welcome and service was very good . Food the usual high quality and came out quickly .... maybe a little too quickly since we were in no hurry. Plenty of polite and cheerful attention from the lady manager . Would recommend this restaurant although I do think it’s time Cote generally had a decor makeover to lighten it up a bit.
Very disappointing.I booked for a celebratory lunch for four. We waited a very long time before anyone took our order. We waited another long time before the two starters arrived (two of us were just having olives) . Then a long wait before the mains. Two had roast duck breast which looked very nice, and was said to be very good. Spinach and mushroom crêpes arrived for me (as a 'starter main'), and that was delicious. The fourth member of our party had ordered fish parmentier which did not arrive . Eventually we pointed out that he had been left out and were assured that it would arrive very soon. lt in fact arrived, after further nudging, when three of us had long finished our main courses. The manager apologized to us and said he would not charge us for the fish parmentier, which was decent of him. Time was beginning to run out on us, though we had arrived especially early - 12.30! We thought we'd at least have a look at the dessert menu, so asked for it - a waiter came and took out some dessert menus from just behind our table and went away.... We waved and waved and eventually managed to get him to bring menus to us but by then it was so late that we decided to go without as it would take another age to put in the order and then more waiting for the order to arrive, if ever! All a pity, as the food when we got it was really good but the service utterly appalling. A jolly meal ended up feeling bad-tempered and thoroughly unsatisfactory. I've always liked Cote but this was awful ,and I did not pay the 'optional' 12% service charge.
We both enjoy our meals in Côte and we love that one of our favourite starters has come back in the December menu . The warm Roquefort salad which is delicious
This Cote has a very nice ambience the staff are very helpful I use Cote a lot for Lunch Or Dinner but this time I used them for Breakfast they have a wonderful selection and I enjoyed it so did my friends
Good atmosphere. Service is good. We enjoyed our meal very much
Very good service, lovely atmosphere and wonderful food. We had a very good waiter serve us who was very patient as we all had catching up to do before ordering. The noise level was perfect, we could all hear each other and it was buzzing but not so loud so that you had to shout. The only slight issue was my decaf coffee tasted horrible but after I mentioned it to the waiter he made another and it was great. Overall I have a fantastic experience and would recommend this restaurant for a family get together.
Brilliant food and outstanding service, I highly recommend cote. We've been going there years
A favourite restaurant of ours to visit. Went at lunch for the first time and was noisier with children and service wasn’t as efficient.
The food was great as usual and the service was too until it came to the bill. I'd booked for the special offer of 2 courses with wine for £35 per couple. It hadn't registered on their system and they just refused to honour it. Very surprised and a bit disappointed. It's not the money, it just wasn't very Cote!
Enjoyed the November starter the terrineit was very tasty and to be recommended and I welcomed the return of the Toulouse sausage cassoulet delicious was very tasty
A friendly welcome to a busy lunchtime. A good selection on the November set menu, enough to ring the changes next time we come for lunch.
Lovely atmosphere. Incorrect dessert served then had long wait so had to cancel it. Manager gave free coffee so that was good. Fish over cooked but was tasty.
Waiter was a UCL masters student, professional, friendly & made us felt very welcomed. However if you don't like smoke that drifts into the restaurant, don't sit near entrance.
Very pleased with our experience. We had a quiet table at the back, which is what we requested. The meal was very enjoyable as ever.
Fantastic set menu. Great location. excellent service. what's not to like?
We always enjoy our meal at Côte camden and find the food and the staff are of the best quality and they contribute immeasurably to the pleasure we have.
What an amazing team . They all gave.me the best night . I just wanted a quiet table where to catch up with my friend and we did over a bottle of Bordeaux
As always we had a wonderful meal and everything was as it should be as far as I’m concerned it is the best restaurant /Brasserie in camden
Our group of four celebrated a special birthday at Cote, Camden. We were warmly welcomed and the service was excellent. I had taken a birthday cake with candles and the staff brought this to our table and sang 'Happy Birthday'. The food was enjoyable too!
Calm night - service and food was good with a reasonable prix fixe menu and good selection of wines - able to chat and enjoy the evening
Quality of food, service and overall cost were very good. Also the wine was reasonably priced for the quality. Choice of liquers was limited. No Sambuca.
Had a very successful supper with friends at my local Cote, food was great and the vegetarian menu a welcome addition for one of my guests. Overall a happy evening in conviviial surroundings.
Has been a grate experience very friendly and helpful staff Twh complimwbtary filter water was suggested when ordered still water it’s usualy not happen. This way but yes thank you cote
Another very nice evening out at Cote. Loved the August menu, with lots of fresh ingredients, and the complimentary G&T which was a great way to start the meal.
Service was good but food was not up to it. We had to wait for fries and they forgot us, then charged us for it, no knife for the steak, and it was not even busy. Wont recommend it, there is plenty of good French restaurant out there, don’t to to that one.
Another lovely breakfast at my local, enjoy the food and atmosphere and especially love the friendly service we received when i visit. Would recommend 100%
