We love Cote in Amersham. Great menu choices. Good staff in a lovely village

We would thoroughly recommend Côte Amersham. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Good always good too :-) We were informed that this branch of Côte was going to be undergoing a “revamp” and we’re looking forward to seeing that on our next visit

Always a pleasure to eat at Cote, the prix fixe menu is very good value and delicious. Have been coming here for years and never had a bad meal.

Looked at the offer for a child's meal and took our granddaughter for a meal. Sadly the choice for a child was not as good as we thought. Otherwise all very good.

Issues with changeover of ownership. The brand Cote is great but this franchise in Amersham needs substantial improvements before we return.

Monday night -few people. Devoid of atmosphere. Service dreadful, had to find someone every course to take order. Food very slow indeed arriving. However waiting staff very pleasant when they did arrive.and food delicious as usual.

Lovely seat by the window, sunshine not too strong so a pleasant place to sit and eat. Just 2 courses and very nice. My fries were not so hot but were alright. Service good and being a Friday evening, it was a little nosier than usual but not obtrusively so.

Restaurant busy so service not as quick as usual. Food good and with 10 of us the meal was convivial. Always happy smiling staff.

A very nice table for 2 in a quiet area but within the body of the restaurant. Glorious sunny evening but restaurant just right temperature, no chilly air con. Food and service very good, we enjoy eating there.

A good place to meet up and chat with friends in a reasonably peaceful restaurant. Good food and plenty of time to sit and chat.

As previously noted, the prix fixe menu is quite expensive and the choice is even more limited than before the prices recently went up. For a group of 8-10 Cote is still an attractive venue in terms of table size but a discount for regular diners would be welcomed.

The food offering on the a la carte was good but as noted before, the prices have gone up. Overall a very nice evening with good food and drink. At c£100 for 2, outside our normal price range, but three courses were nice.

Food and service are always good at Cote Amersham. SOMETIMES the noise can be a bit of an issue if the restaurant is busy tho.

Although the 2 of us ate from the Prix Fixe menu, it would be nice if there was a little more choice of starters, mains and desserts. I always find Cote Amersham to be excellent on service - attentive but not OTT. If seated in the rear section of the restaurant and it's busy - the noice can be a bit too much and that can spill out into the front part of the restaurant.

Another enjoyable experience with lovely food. Service from the friendly staff was excellent as usual. Always a pleasure to pay a visit.

Very enjoyable lunch on Mother's Day. As expected it was busy and this did impact service slightly but staff were friendly and apologised for the slight delays.

A get together with the family was delightful because of the good service at Cote.

Been here many times before but this was the first time enjoying the brunch. The food was excellent and a glass of champagne just adds something special to the mix. Service was good and the staff were friendly and helpful as always.

Quite quiet for this visit and not too crowded. A new manager who was happy to chat about a new Menu. probably about time as the current menu could do with some vitalising!!!

A new Menu or rather a revamped one! I didn't like the new one and thought the old one better. The prix fixe menu has shot up by around £4, can this be justified? Overall still good atmosphere and friendly helpful staff but come on Cote, you can do better.

Main was sent back as muscels were not cooked/open. Alternatives were sold out so had the cheese selection.

Lovely lunch with my Mum to celebrate her birthday. Excellent food and pleasant friendly service.

Because the main was a long time being served we weren't able to have a desert. We had aloud two hours in the car park which was not enough.

First visit back to Côte Amersham since lockdown in March 2020. All up to its usual high standards. Menu has changed with everything now on the one menu (used to be a separate menu for the prix fixe) The 1, 2 & 3 course set menu prices have gone up, in my opinion, a fair bit! It was a pretty hot day on our visit and the aircon was on….. with the front door open- defeating somewhat the benefit of aircon. We asked if the door could be closed to help cooling, which it was and it did!

We sat outside in the sunshine – very pleasant. Food was delicious and service and ambience good. Slightly pricey.

Ordered mussels and each one had not been scraped properly and as it is a dish I always order was inferior to normal quality. My crab starter was very wet and normally is quite solid but not this time. As I was visiting on a complaint voucher as they messed up my husbands 60th birthday, felt better not to say anything.

As expected following previous visits pre COVID. Staff very friendly.

We were greeted at the door and shown to our table by a very nice gentleman. We had a very nice waitress who looked after us from the start of the meal to the end.The food was good just as I remembered it before the lockdown.

Excellent food and our waitress Danielle was very attentive and looked after us very well. Felt very safe and all the Covid rules were adhered to . Will definitely recommend to my friends when we are allowed out again !

Had a lovely family meal at Cote. The service was friendly & efficient. It was quite busy with buzzy atmosphere but the service was still efficient and friendly. Delicious food, especially the ravioli and creme brûlée

Excellent evening, started with a very friendly welcome and brilliant service delivered efficiently and with panache. Food was outstanding, the fillet steak done exactly as requested. Only slight fault was the praline crepe was a bit chewy as though prepared earlier and reheated. Look forward to returning when tier restrictions are over.
