Wonderful lunch with family on a Saturday. The restaurant team is great: service was perfect, attentive and polite waiters. Ambiance was very good, busy as expected on a Saturday. We all had different dishes. The food was good. Not perfect. I was very happy with my dish, but 4 out of 6 in our table were slightly underwhelmed (bit bland, not hot- arrived tepid) were the comments. Desserts and coffees perfect. Overall very happy, food can be a bit improved.

We Had a truly amazing experience! The food was delicious. We were a group of four and each had a different dish, which we were very happy with our individual choices! Will be back for sure for another cassoulet :-) Thank you

Excellent food. Long wait and then reminder for gluten- free bread, but otherwise very friendly reception from staff, especially the Latvian girl. Happy to be there.

Excellent, friendly, quick service. Pleasant surroundings. Our Party was 9 people. The table we were allocated was in a corner, so I asked to be moved to another table which was done efficiently without any fuss.

First class service. I booked online but then called to see if I could put some special touches in place as it was my friend’s birthday. I asked for a table in the window which was ready on our arrival. We were then each served a glass of complementary pink fizzy wine- very nice. Our food was delicious and served quickly. Then before we ordered desert all the waiters came to our table and presented my friend with a beautiful desert with a candle and sang Happy Birthday. All in all our experience was first rate and the service was top notch- thank you to all concerned!

Group of six, great service and good selection. I do wish there was a better vegan/vegetarian option for set menu. Nice free cocktails too and all food extremely tasty.

Highly irregular marking out of SIX stars, so if I give you 5 routinely others consulting the web will think that is a 100% score. Thus, I am giving you only 4 stars because you are subverting the usual UK system and urge you to conform to it. Having said which, Cotes Kensington is dramatically reformed for the better since my last visit in 2019.

I never fail to enjoy a meal at Cote! I have been to a few different locations up & down the country & they are unfailingly excellent from all angles!

As always we experienced extremely friendly staff and on the whole good quality food.

Overall an okay experience, but the food was a let down this time. The smoked haddock croquettes had no smokiness to them and the minute steak was extremely chewy to the point that about half of it was inedible.

You did a fine job for my 80th birthday party! Everyone enjoyed the food and the service and I appreciate especially the manager and waitstaff. The reservation system worked well, and everyone got their correct dishes Congratulations, you have a great team! Colin Taylor

Love Cote and this is a particularly good branch.Staff very attentive.Had the offer with orange cocktail and ordered the Chataubriand which was fantastic.Food in Cote is always of a very high standard and very good value.Highly recommended.

We booked for a pre-theatre dinner and chose the 2 course set menu which worked out perfectly. Standard of the food was good, but what really impressed us was the excellent service ... really professional and friendly, especially the lady working front of house.

Great little Restaurant just off the high street and close to Kensington High Street tube station. We were on our way to the Royal Albert Hall which was a gentle 10 stroll way. When booked a table for 5.30pm the restaurant was quite empty at the time and were greeted by friendly staff. We took some time to decide on our menu choice and were given plenty of time not being hurried in any way. Service was prompt for each course the food was very good, hot and very reasonably priced. The restaurant did get quite full towards the end of our meal and the only slightly issue was the time it took to order our coffees at the end of the meal. Otherwise I cannot fault the quality, price or service and have put this as our No 1 restaurant of choice when on the Kensington area.

While the food was tasty and the atmosphere good, sadly our experience was ruined by unfriendly and unhelpful staff. The man taking our orders looked as if he'd rather be doing anything else. I had to ask four times for the bill, even going up to the front desk twice with my credit card in hand, only to be sent away to wait at the table again. I then had to sit and watch the woman who assured me she would be 'with you in a moment' tend to several empty tables and then stand and do nothing for 10 minutes. I even caught her eye and she did nothing. Eventually I had to ask someone else another time and finally managed to pay. We were trying to leave quickly as we had something to get to and the total reluctance even to acknowledge our table (the largest in the restaurant at the time) was extremely rude, frustrating and stressful. Disappointing.

We were a small group, three in number, and had dinner on both Friday and Saturday evening. The food was excellent and the wine good quality at a reasonable price. The ambiance was, as always, attractive with a relaxed atmosphere. The service was good.

Great place, nice people, good reliable food, usually get a table at short notice

I was there with my two daughters. One of my daughters found she had some mud in her salad when she crunched knit and had a mouthful of it. The Manager compensated us for it, for which we were very grateful. I found out she came from Romania but did not get her name. This is very different to the treatment I was received at the Cote Brasserie at Hays Galleria recently. I went there with relations and we realised that not enough had been paid as we were given the wrong bill. We realised when we had left, I went back in and related what had happened. I was barely given an apology and had to pay the extra. I was disappointed in the reaction. So much for honesty. I would interested in hearing your comments.

Fast service, great reasonably priced food and drinks. Very good pre-theatre food offer as well.
