Never fails to please. Food and service always excellent and friendly
Good choice of menu and great service from efficient staff
Friendly and efficient service as always and the food was delicous.
Never disappointing. Food always excellent and service good as ever.
Second breakfast I have ever had at Cote. It was delicious. We will be back soon
Great service and food at this Cote. I had not been to this one before and was suitably impressed. We will be back soon
This was an excellent pre-concert dinner. The fish stew was good, if a bit salty and my partner's pork belly was excellent. The house rose went down nicely. Prices are now quite high. Service was perfect.
Very happy with the staff, ambience and quality of the food , will be coming back
All in all a great place for dinner after an afternoon visit to the Royal Albert Hall. Excellent service, food and ambiance. Well done to all concerned.
My wife and I enjoyed a delicious meal. A special mention for the seared tuna cooked to perfection. Attentive and charming staff too! 😉👍
slow service, 20-25 minutes for table water to appear, never mind getting our drinks or placing our food order. The food: Cote are changing recipes and not for the better, why? Calamari used to come with nice classic tartare sauce, now it comes with poshed up 1000 Islands, not an improvement according to the 2 who ate it. Breton fish stew, ordered by 2 of us, this has been changed to a tomatey & somewhat spicey dish, definitely nothing to do with Breton any more, could be Italian? one of them said never again, the other said didn't mind but probably wouldn't order again. I had duck, haven't ordered before, was relatively tasteless and with dull vegetables. It's a pity....
Yet another delicious, well-presented meal served in a busy restaurant. The Sirloin Steak was delicious. Well done to all the team!
A very good pre-concert meal. No complaints about either the food or service at the price.
Another good meal although service was rather slow initially. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed.
good welcome on arrival, we respectively had duck (very good she said), lamb (bit tasteless but nice ratatouille), tomato tart (he said more like a starter, disappointed)
attentive service both from staff and manager Pana, they were all determined to give us a lovely time, potk belly was best ever, properly crispy skin
3 of us, 2 had breton poulet and we both left half as dry and tasteless, other had breton fish stew and was disappointed too, also no sparkling mineral water available, not Cote's finest hour
Amazing service and delicious food, I will definitely come back!!
the food here gets poorer and the portions smaller every time I visit. The goats cheese and leek tartlet needs renaming as a leek tartlet with tiny specks of goat cheese. After very many years I think I must give up as taking someone to lunch here is embarrassing.
we enjoyed ourselves, very relaxing, and tasty meal, our favourite banch
Great service and good atmosphere. Food was varied and set meal very good value
Lorry with food delayed so no food in restaurant for over an hour Decided to stay and eventually persuaded manager to give us a complimentary bottle of wine Probably should have got more from the restaurant! Felt strange knowing that all their food came pre packaged from a central depot!
my monkfish came without the usual generous helping of mussels, apparently restaurant had no mussels, was not told this at time of ordering, so paid full price of just under £22 for 2 pieces of fish in a sauce (one of which was very tough, either under or over cooked, anyway not nice); service was fine, and my friends enjoyed the fish pie
staff kindly swopped graperuit complimentry cocktail for french version of prosecco, much appreciated, went very well with chips as nibbles pre main meal
Excellent service and food - as always. See you again.
We are regulars at other Côte restaurants. First time at this Côte following a visit to the Royal Albert Hall. Excellent food, service and ambiance . Extremely accommodating and pleasant staff who sat us a a table in a cosy area towards the back of the restaurant. A really nice server. We could not have asked for a better all round experience. We would both highly recommend this restaurant and we will certainly be back.
this branch of Cote has moved up a gear, really good service, a revamped wine list (we had the Fleurie which was lovely), and while the food was not amazing, the smiling service made up for it
Tucked away this is a hidden gem great food breakfast is terrific deal lunch or dinner is always a treat excellent service always friendly staff
lovely time! we all enjoyed ourselves and our meal, thanks
always great value for money and great place for a weekend lunch
good value for money and place to have lunch on a Sunday
service was good, my monkfish main was a bit tough (overcooked?) and the calamari starter was tasteless, dauphine potatoes were delicious, no pud
Not a great Cote which was disappointing. Service was ok if a bit slow slow, quality of food not as good as other Cote restaurants. Overall, it was ok, but not great
We did have a very nice lunch, food was excellent. The service was great!!
This was a get together of family prior to concert at RAH. Good table, excellent service, nothing too much trouble. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed food from a very varied menu. Can’t wait to go again.
Sadly not one of the better Cote chain restaurants. Service initially was exceptionally slow, quality of food taking into account the Prix Fixe was only average which is not normally the case. A shame as all the others we have visited since re-opening have been exceptional.
what a difference a change of chef makes! the 3 of us ate the same as on our previous visit some weeks ago; it was so poor that we vowed never to go there again! but we thought we'd give it one final try: yesterday the food was tasty, well prepared and presented, we were all happy with our mains. we had desserts too, which were a bit of a disappointment, probably give that a miss another time
The service and food were both excellent. It was Friday lunchtime so the restaurant was very busy and therefore rather noisy!
we 3 regularly eat at this Cote; but not any more! one friend tried the new paillard salad, left the chicken as so tough, salad itself was good; another had the fish parmentier, very hot in the middle and cold elsewhere; I tried the new monkfish dish, tasted only of the creamy mushroom sauce, plus fish was not moist enough, mussels also tasteless. And poor service, 15 minutes at least to place our order, another 40 minutes before any food appeared, not easy to get bill either
Lovely waitress. Good food. Air con could have been put on as we were hot in our corner table
we both had pork belly, very tasty, but served in a large pasta bowl (weird); service was a bit random however maybe they were understaffed on a bank holiday; overall enjoyable
Great place to meet up for a girlie lunch. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our food and drink as well.
A quiet coffee and lunch for me, which was perfectly lovely and I was well looked aftet before the lunch rush. Delicious crunchy fresh bread, classic french onion soup in a rustic bowl, refreshing tomato salad. Coffee could be improved as I'm spoilt by barista standards now but was very generous.
new menu, new wine list, new prices! Cote has upped its game, but it is now head to head with restaurants that do it better. food good, but not sure vibe matches pricing now.
our favourite dish, breton fish stew, has a new recipe - heavy tomato sauce with lots of tinned tomatoes, no potatoes, impossible to taste the seafood - and new presentation - big bowl, bread balanced on top instead of basket (use table for bread? I don't think so); we were both very disappointed and will not order again
we all enjoyed our Breton fish stew, our table was in a very noisy part of the restaurant which made conversation difficult, but the food compensated
Another good and pleasant meal, at a restaurant handy for the Albert Hall.
Always a great place for dinner with plenty of atmosphere; friendly staff and good food.
we tried the prix fixe menu; I had whitebait (tasteless but crispy), toulouse sausages with lentils (sausages ok-ish, lentils very good), and the tart (fair); my friend had the mushroom soup (nice), chicken (fair) and chocolate mousse (good); the olives beforehand were very tasty
service super slow, we thought we'd been forgotten, they even forgot the mineral water till after the food turned up at last, but actual meal enjoyable apart from stale bread
