Good food and good service always an enjoyable experience at Cote
Our entire experience from booking right through to leaving was excellent. I thought the staff were incredibly efficient and friendly, and given that the restaurant has to cater for a sudden rush of people going to concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, they do it so well. The food was amazing and authentically French. It doesn’t feel like a chain restaurant. My only criticism would be that the wine we were given as the complementary wine for signing up to the newsletter was not of a good enough quality for the restaurant. It was virtually undrinkable.
Lovely restaurant near the Royal Albert Hall perfect for pre concert meal. We were greeted by Alberto who was a delight, friendly and courteous. The food as usual was superb, service excellent and the staff were lovely! Definitely recommend.
Table was ready on time. Two of our group ordered moules and had to leave a high % of them as they were unopened and the linguine was over done.
The service was good and friendly, our cream spinach was watery and the green beans were not at all good, we couldn't work out what they had done with them, but it shouldn't be repeated. They were taken off the bill.
Our waitress was lovely and very attentive. The meal we had was very enjoyable.
Fantastic establishment! Great last minute find with quality food and service.
Busy time led to wrong cooking instructions on my steak and because of the crowd we were squeezed in by the bar. Not really appropriate or acceptable. This was however an unusual situation given our strong history with the chain. This too will pass.
Wonderful welcome by the Maitre'D, very friendly and efficient waitress together with a good valued meal and bottle of merlot! Will certainly return again in the future.
We are long term CÔTE enthusiasts and last night's visit confirmed our anticipation of an excellent meal in pleasant surroundings attended by professional, congenial staff. (not to mention the smoothness of the complimentary French 75). Merći CÔTE Kensington.
We are regulars at Côte. As always, excellent food, very good value for money and lovely service. This restaurant has a special formula, which works!
As always a very enjoyable evening. The food was your usual very good standard and the service was excellent. All the staff are extremely pleasant and welcoming.
Great food, nice friendly efficient staff, cute French atmosphere. Set menu is a great deal. We were noisy but the rest behaved. Nice that every table gets a jug of water.
Great service and food but can be a bit noisy
Reliable well cooked food. Lovely service. Good value menu
Good welcome staff very friendly. Food delicious but drinks bit expensive. Nice relaxing evening, nobody rushing you. Quite a walk to the loo! Very nice evening
Great cosy ambience, very friendly attentive staff even in such a busy 7pm crowd, particularly Giuseppe. A great variety of dishes and food is consistently good.
Excellent restaurant in Kensington. Good choice of French dishes, Decent wine list and fair prices. Staff very helpful. Not our first visit and we’ll go again when we are in London.
The food was very good . However overall experience spoilt by being wrongly charged for a free bottle of wine, despite being assured by the waiter that it was all dealt with.
Everything was excellent, just a few occasions when service could have been faster. We shall continue to use Cote Kensington for our six-monthly Old College get together.
Calamari starter good, asparagus risotto over-cooked and tasteless, peach crumble truly awful, no flavor and literally boiling hot. Drinks very expensive. Pleasant staff and good service.
This is the best spot for lunch in Kensington. It's a deal, it attracts a great crowd, the staff team could not be more helpful and lunch is delicious.
The food is good value and the staff are friendly and welcoming. However the restaurant is very noisy with a poor acoustic, which detracts a little from the overall experience.
Lovely staff, friendly host, amazing food, manager brooding on girls from the bar was a bit unsettling and unprofessional. Would come back again. Overall great cozy place!
Great food and lovely, friendly staff in one of the better Cote branches in London. Had a relaxed feel to it and didn't feel packed in like some Bistros in London. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.
Always good but tonight particularly good! Maybe it’s the June special châteaubriant which tipped the scales. Delicious dinner and great service. Highly recommended
Great food, really good choices will fantastic staff. First time at this restaurant but will be going back in a few weeks.
Excellent food, quality and service, as always. Cote is always great for a meal or just a drink. My friends and I are regulars. Love it!
The lamb shank was just just what was needed in such cold weather and cooked just as I like it. We had a very nice bottle of wine on the house which went down very well after Dry January! Although we were an hour early we still managed to have our favourite table.
Food was slow to arrive. Staff going through the motions.
Love going to Cote! The service is always the best and food is so delicious!
An enjoyable eying with excellent food, the chateaubriand steak was superb.
Buzzing warm ambience, consistently good food and value for money. Excellent staff, always welcoming even very busy.
Truly a great French restaurant! We are often there for lunch (love chicken walnut salad) or dinner (our favourite is roasted seabass). We are happy to have it in our neighbourhood.
Lovely lunch - would have been perfect if the white wine we chose had been chilled ! Apart frim that service was great ! Food always the same good standard
Good meal as usual, BUT..... Just one problem as some of my veg was lukewarm. I did mention this when paying, but not whilst eating (as I didn't have time for a hold up if it was sent back) They apologised, but perhaps something more could be done when the food is slightly under par? Discount for next time perhaps?
Alberto (I believe that's the name of the amazing manager) made our evening very special with his amazing hospitality, thoughtfulness and kindness. The waitresses were very helpful, smiley and lovely too dispite it being a very busy evening! We had a lovely evening and left very happy! Thank you so much!!!! Kristina and Lewis
As always, great quality food, ambience and delightful waiting staff. Recently went to highly rated Brasserie at twice the price and half the quality and value. And next door to a Cote.
Great food , great service . It was a bit loud , the tables are a bit too close together but the staff make up for everything.
WE always book Cote Kensington for dinner when we visit the Royal Albert Hall. Yesterday was after a matinee performance, as always was very good.
It was excellent, no complaints. Food was well cooked and service was very efficient. Happilly recommend to anyone who wants good value for money food
Everything was fabulous. The food delicious and of high quality. The staff are very professional. Music too loud and poor choice, something soft and gentle would be better
Great service. My guest did not like her appetizer and the server was happy to exchange it for something else. Always a great dining experience at Côte. Happy to be a frequent diner.
Food was delicious and the service was good, however ran out of limes at the bar and unable to make cocktails. What bar runs out of lines and can’t make a cocktail?
A prompt and delicious lunch - very friendly service, well done Cote!
Excellent menu, quality food with charming French accent. You always feel like at home in extremely friendly atmosphere. Staff is very attentive and helpful. One of the best places in London to have a Sunday lunch with your family or/and friends.
The food as always was excellent and good value, and the service exceptional. I was presented with two free glasses of kir royale because it was close to my birthday, and a charming birthday card with a chocolate truffle!
The staff were extremely attentive and the food was excellent. We had a limited time as we were off to the theatre and the staff were very accommodating and the service was really quick.
As always, reliable and tasty food in great surroundings with fantastic service.
Really lovely evening with good food, great service and great value for money. We definitely will be back again. The birthday candle and the simaging was the icing on the cake.
