A brief visit, as we had to go to the theatre, but the waiters were friendly and took our orders with good humour. The food arrived promptly and was very tasty. Never seem to be disappointed with Cote. Reliable chain.

Great as ever - good 3 course meal for 4 and a couple of bottles of nice red for less that £100 - can't argue with that !

Great value French-style cuisine, properly served by cheerful polite staff. Attractive restaurant just off the High Street in Kensington, and surely the best value in the area.

We were up to London to see the Gypsy Kings at the Royal Albert Hall. Parked dead opposite in the London Royal Garden Hotel (NCP) so conveniently placed. There were four of us - and we had a cracking meal - starters of fougasse and olives, mains of beef bourgignon and a very nicely prepared duck dish. Two bottles of very drinkable Merlot, an excellent waiter who was most attentive and also amusing - result, 90 minutes of convivial relaxation in a very pleasant restaurant and a service charge which we are assured goes to the staff and as a result were more than happy to pay it. If we go up again (we're from the wilds of West Berkshire!) we'll definitely be back.

Very extensive menu. Good food and well cooked. Helpful and friendly staff who moved us to another table away from a speaker. (One of our table is noise sensitive). The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Thank you.

Six of us had a lovely meal one saturday lunchtime. We were warmly welcomed and never rushed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of menu choice, we chose different meals and all equally enjoyed them. Starters ranged from fish soup to pate, steak tartare or goats cheese followed by nicely cooked fish stew, steaks or duck. We had a most enjoyable time and would certainly return.

Very convenient for The Royal Albert Hall. Set menu is good value with a good choice. The service was excellent. The menu does not display cost of wine by the glass so it would have been helpful if the waiter had pointed out that for three large glasses, it would have been cheaper to buy a bottle,

This restaurant is a favourite of ours in Kensington and indeed all over central London. The service is brilliant and they have an exceptionally reasonable early menu which you can get before 7pm definitely worth a go. Their breakfasts are amazing too. A must try.

Disappointed with table as had booked a week before. Service quick and efficient - We had the pre theatre menu . Food good- best steak frites we had had in a Cote restaurant, creme caramel as good as ever and excellent bottle of Malbec. All in all perfect for what we wanted which was a quick meal before a concert. Very good value.

We are regular diners at this Cote. The welcome and atmosphere was as friendly and warm as usual. It was my friend's birthday and they treated us to complimentary kit royal on arrival. Another great experience, and the reason that we love this bistro.

Excellent food, terrific service and a very welcoming/attractive venue. Having eaten in three different Cote establishments (York, Chester and Kensington) I am delighted to give the maximum rating available. If there was a 10 then I'd award it!

The staff were very welcoming and the service was very attentive. We chose from the set evening menu and the choice was extensive and the value was very good and the food was cooked to perfection. We had a very enjoyable evening and would visit again but would recommend Cote Kensington for the staff and the ambience. Thank you for making our evening.

Fabio looked after our table of four with charm, flexibility and kindness. A good meal for us all. But the one huge drawback is the heat in that restaurant. I am a local and have been there many, many times. But I no longer go in the summer because we just melt in those premises: it could not be a more uncomfortable experience to eat food whilst sweating. I remembered to bring a fan last night, but the other three people did not. Far, far too hot - why oh why is there no air conditioning? I believe that the windows cannot be opened because of neighbours' complaints, so air con is an unavoidable requirement. My companions enjoyed everything about the meal, but they say that they will not return to boil again. I cannot invite people there now. Please, please invest wisely in air conditioning.

Wide choice of food, well prepared and presented, not overly expensive and friendly helpful service. Only minus would be that tables are quite close together and when a group of eight men arrived at the table next to us conversation up and down their table was too loud (always a problem with larger groups); however our waiter allowed us to move to a vacant table further away and helped transfer our food and drinks.
