Highly recommended! At relatively short notice (few hours) I requested a well-lit table for two in a quieter corner of the restaurant - they were superb and despite being very busy the service was very good. Food superb. Ambience great though why do they have to dim the lights at 7:30pm? My guest and I are Deaf and need enough light to see to lip-read clearly!
Excellent service and food we had the 3 cours set menu for £12.95 fantastic value for Kensington High St. 2 adults 3 teenagers in our party and good choice on menu for all.
Food very good, despite a little wait at the beginning . Staff very pleasant. Nice atmosphere and plenty of time to talk without interruption. Good experience.
Superb food, Great dining ambience. Good waiting staff. Very good location, Even though it was a busy mothers day and the restaurant was full, the service was excellent
Great location, cosy atmosphere, the staff provided excellent customer service - they were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Would definitely go back.
Good restaurant for pre-theatre dinner. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful (especially as we were running late but also needed to eat quickly before going to concert)
Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. Côte is a really lovely restaurant in Kensington. I had the blood orange and fennel salad for my starter and the seafood linguine for my main. Both were superb, but the creme caramel for dessert was sublime! My only criticism is the temperature of the restaurant...turn the heat down please!
Another pleasant evening at Cote Kensington. The food was up to its usual good standard, service this time a little slower than usual, but it was exceptionally busy, and wait was not unacceptable. Staff are always pleasant and efficient, and make you feel welcome.
We had a very nice meal with very good service. The manager was most helpful as I asked for a quiet table and he found one for us.
I love Cote and have always enjoyed my monthly visit. But this time, two things disappointed me:- 1. I had, as usual, asked when booking "Window seat, if possible". This was the first time they couldn't do it (no problem) but they gave me a TF2 which was against a curtain or something, so that I felt hemmed in on one side and a bit claustraphobic. 2. My starting fish soup was only luke warm.
Staff seemed disinterested. Ordered apple juice and it didn't come, had to ask again. My boyfriend is gluten intolerant, there was no menu available for him and his toast was barely toasted. Don't wish to be unfair and we normally love Cote but i have to say this was not a great visit.
Excellent location, excellent value offering and wonderful service. Perfect in every way for dining prior to an evening event. Have used before and will definitely use again.
Very good restaurant with efficient service. Room did get hot. Excellent service from attentive waiter. Also, good value. Will use again, especially when going to Royal Albert Hall.
Having visited the Diana Dress collection at Kensington Palace Cote was very convenient and the service was excellent as usual. I would recommend. As usual the service was excellent and you are never rushed.
Restaurant was busy on arrival, always a good sign. Given a table towards the back by the window which was great. Staff extremely attentive and friendly. I had the Charcuterie board to start, plentiful and delicious. Pork belly main course was incredible. No room for desert. First time at this Cote and would happily return.
We visited at 5 o clock before going on to the royal albert hall for a concert. My husband ate off the early bird menu which was good as well as good value for money. I ate off the a la carte which was also good value for money. I would certainly return. I must add that when we got the Royal Albert hall I was horrified to find I has left the tickets in the restaurant. The Royal Albert Hall were very good and sorted us out, I then looked at my phone and realised the restaurant had desperately been trying to ring me but I has not heard my phone which was in my handbag. I rang them to thank them and they said they had also rung the Royal Albert hall. It was great to feel that they had taken all this trouble and were relieved that we had got in. I call that going the extra mile. Thank you
Lovely restaurant. Great food and great serivce. Recommend for those seeking a pleasant dining experience with tasty food. No trouble booking and looked after very well. 👍🏻
Warm reception. Attentive but unfussy service with excellent food and a good ambience at what appeared to be a busy lunch period. This is not our first visit to this particular restaurant and we have never had anything other than a pleasant experience.
Unfortunately my guest's mother was suddenly taken ill and she needed to be able to get news of her. This meant that she had to keep leaving her meal to go outside and try to get a signal on her phone. Mobile signal is also a problem at your Wimbledon branch. At our sort of age, where we have aged parents to take care of, it's a shame that we cannot be reached when family emergencies crop up. In all other respects, we had a very good experience, as usual.
The staff were efficient and friendly. The food was served promptly but we were not rushed. The bread starter was scrumptious. Delicious mains and great choice of wine.
First class restaurant. We stuck with the fixed price menu for two out of three of us and the third with the a la carte and got a free bottle of good white wine for joining the Cote membership scheme. The location is very pretty and I would recommend the restaurant to everyone.
Delicious Nicosia Said with perfect piece of fresh tuna. Nice quiet table and good service. Friendly staff. Good location for public transport, buses and tubes
Excellent food, with a good choice of cuisine. Service was excellent as well, which was friendly and attentive without being overpowering. A surprising but perfect beginning to the evening, highly recommended
After a hard days works it was wonderful to be treated with respect by courteous staff & have a fabulous meal. Although not in London too often we always make sure we visit the Kensington Cote Brasserie and are delighted to find a branch has opened in our nearest City of Worcester!
Just had early dinner @ Kensington High Street. Lovely food and friendly staff. Efficient service and good value too. Whats not to like?? Glad we booked!!
Very friendly reception, order for both a drink and menu selection was very quick even tho very busy We enjoyed the main courses and desserts and not hurried to vacate our table. Will go there again when we are in London for sure
Great food, excellent value for money and a really great location to eat if you are attending a conference or event at the Royal Albert Hall.
Good Food we had the specials menu, very good value, the minute steak was great. Good buzzy atmosphere and friendly staff. would definately recommend it
One dish of mussels was not cooked properly but the response from the waitress and the manager was prompt, efficient. So overall a pleasant lunch with friends
Cote has the perfect combination for a successful restaurant, good locations, excellent and affordable menu and good service. A venue I feel comfortable recommending to friends.
...all the serving team are very courteous, efficient and welcoming, although it's all cliche, it's still very nice to hear on arrival!. Food-wise, all is of a high standard and the choice is good....a wide menu with reasonable prices and the wine list too is the same. Best bonus is the Americano coffee...the quality and taste is really good and.....exceptionally, the cups are filled to the tops and the coffee is hot!. Geoffrey Helman
Great food, lovely staff. Honestly couldn't be bettered. Outside tables or booths inside are perfect. Prix fixe lunch was excellent value. Highly recommended - go!
Very Friendly staff and lovely food :) set lunch menus was very nice with lots of choices . Nice environment and Great day with my family .
Great value if you sit down before 7pm. Lovely attentive staff. Highly recommended I've eaten at several and they very consistent. 3 courses for £12.95 how do they do it?
As always a great place for any meal. We usucome for lunch or dinner. Our favourite dishes are the fish stew, chicken walnut salad, minute steak, to name a few. Very tasty fresh, crispy and tasty baguettes. Happy to have it in Kensington.
Service was fantastic. Even though one member of our group was unhappy with their meal it was dealt in a fantastic way with free and quick replacement and we all left happy and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience.
Decent basic French fare. Attentive service. Gluten free menu and good gluten free issues knowledge by the staff. Gets busy during Sunday lunch. Decent place.
Good Bistro food as usual at a reasonable price but very crowded. The recent refurbishment has created more seating, some where there is not room for it. A shame!
Overall good prompt service. Some staff warm & friendly. Menu selection good. Food very tasty, some starters were smaller than others. Wine very good, liked that ice bucket was offered without having to request it.
Food high quality for cost (good value). Wine list is decently priced. Nothing outstanding, but solid everyday choices... much like one finds in a neighbourhood french bistro. Service can be a bit variable, especially when restaurant reaches capacity. Staffing levels are optimized at 3/4 full.
Great value for Kensington. Staff were friendly and service was efficient. Will definitrly go back! The steak au poivre exceeded expectations and is particularly good value.
The food was great, the service was polite and attentive, the restaurant had a lively atmosphere (a little loud for the hard of hearing but great vibe)
The service was generally very very slow. Food was at best, average and had little seasoning or actual flavour. A poor meal that wouldn't make me hurry back
We visited on a Tuesday evening. The food was very tasty with generous portions. Great value for money with early dinner 3 course meal deal for £13.99. Friendly service and nice ambience. Recommended!
Cote seems to offer a reliable formula. Can be a bit noisy sometimes - they turn down the lights so maybe they could turn down the music too? The trick is to try and find an area with a few soft furnishings and keep well away from the coffee machine that waiters insist on knocking seven bells out of before making a cup of coffee. My steak was excellent - perfectly cooked and the wine reasonable value at under £20. Staff a little distracted at times but generally good.
This is a fantastic restaurant, the staff are wonderful and friendly always remembering us and taking good care of us. The food is consistently of the best quality and one of my favorite things is it is always hot. Cannot say enough about this restaurant would highly recommend.
Excellent food but two things that were not good. The wine was very expensive and taking my elderly parents out to lunch none of us appreciated being called 'guys' the whole time by an otherwise good waiter.
Excellent food and lovely ambience. If I could criticise anything it would be the service was a little on the slow side. However, this was noted by a particular waiter who sprang in to help !
Great food, great service. Good menu choice and all served quickly and super tasty. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. A super evening and will definitely go again.
Had the two course set lunch with a glass of wine. I had whitebait followed by a French shepherds pie. Both were delicious and the service was great. Definitely would recommend.
