Excellent food and excellent service. Excellent value. Very Convenient after viewing Diana's Dresses Exhibition at Kensington Palace. Nice ambience, not too noisy. I would recommend.
Great Meal which was enjoyed by all of the party. Great staff, efficient ,polite and professional. Environment was good too. A really lovely experience all round.
Service was excellent. Complimentary wine is a good choice. Food not quite as good as usual - onion soup was a little too solid, cauliflower soup needed a bit more flavour. The main problem was the Maundy Thursday crowd making much noise!
Disappointed that two mains out of four were served lukewarm and one was the wrong meal completely. After apologies were offered, the wrong meal was correctly ordered and the two cold ones were promised to be redone. This turned out to be microwave reheating not starting again! This was proved to b the case when the accompanying fried bread still had a bite out of it!!
Great welcome, ambiance, service and food! Plenty of choice. We all had a great time prior to our visit to the RAH. Cote is consistently good but this restaurant was especially welcoming.
We went to the royal Albert hall and the mid week early supper menu was perfect. Quick service and delicious food really happy. Going again.
The waiter that was serving us was very helpful and very good. He made sure that everything is alright and never forgot about our table.
Côte offers a variety of food options at very reasonable pricing. There's even a list of daily food and drink specials. The service ,however , could be more attentive.
Lovely ambiance and attentive helpful staff. My food was tasty and good value for money. However, the cod wrapped in French bacon could have done with being warmer.
We're repeat customers (over many years) and always seek out Cote when we're in London. The service was phenomenal, food was excellent (as always) from starters to dessert and you'll not find a better overall value in any large city, much less London. The only reason they don't get 6/6 is their habit of serving red wine at or slightly above room temperature. While reds shouldn't be "chilled" per se, they should be at the warm end of cellar temperature, which is closer to 60F than 70F. They have a great wine list which reflects good value, unfortunately it's not allowed to shine due to this slight oversight.
Great service, food good (plaice special disappointing). However, it was too warm, needed the doors or windows opening or install a fan / air conditioning.
Fabulous night, food wonderful, staff friendly, courteous and very prompt service. Definitely booking again - in fact ordered same main course had last Saturday at the Cote in Richmond it was so delicious.
very friendly staff, lovely food and excellent service, very happy with the experience at would definitely recommend and was within walking distance of the Royal Albert Hall
Early bird three course meal £12.95 pre concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Great tasting food & fantastic value for money, only negative was the noise due to the restaurant being very busy.
An extensive menu of interesting dishes with also a a set menu. The food and wine was delicious, served by attentive staff in a fantastic location
Very like being at a fast food cafe Starters are delivered and you are expected to finish in 5 minutes before your main meal is delivered Been in this restaurant in Edinburgh and Glasgow and the service of food was great Very disappointed in Kensington branch
Great service, great food. Very happy with our business lunch here. This place is always very consistent and the level of service is exception for somewhere so reasonably priced.
Another excellent Sunday lunch at Côte Bistro, Kensington. The food, wine and service was very good - keep up the high standards you have achieved.
Very pleased with our meal here. The starter and main selection was good for the great value set menu. The restaurant had a good atmosphere too. Service was efficient and would return.
Met up with 3 girl friends. We had a great meal, lits of lauhhter and both food and service was tthe ops, no complaints. Sure to be back.
good place for a light supper Would have been better had quandoo not fauled to post our reservation We were lucky in that a table was found for us!
A very good dinner, the scallops were cooked to perfection! Excellent service and the staff were cheerful and happy to recommend. Good wine selection too.
The steak we shared was fantastic. Everything great except for the noise. Usual excellent service and of course we shall be back when we are next in the area.
Whenever I'm in Kensington High Street this where I usually have dinner Excellent service and great food and drinks and of course great staffs. Highly recommended
Excellent! First time dining at this Cote - very warm welcome from the staff. They were all friendly and efficient. The food was great and there was a lovely ambience at the restaurant. A really good location en route from High Street Kensington tube station to The Royal Albert Hall for pre-dining before a concert.
I just don't feel that Cote is quite as good as it used to be. However, the staff were very good and looked after us well.
Excellent, seasonal food, cooked to perfection! Service staff were extremely busy, but friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Extremely good value for money, 3 course set menu for £12.95.
Wonderful food and service yet again! Always quality ingredients cooked and served to perfection. We will be back. Awesome food staff and setting. So glad that one has opened in Peterborough
Cote food always good and problem with fougasse quickly corrected. Restaurant is noisy though and we couldn't always hear each other very well. We were near the bar and there was a lot of noise from making coffees including very loud banging of the portafilter to remove old coffee grounds. Experience was good but would have been so much better with less noise.
Very friendly service and nice atmosphere. Busier than our local branch but then it was a London branch. Not been to any ones in London before. Would definitely return as good food, friendly service and well located to get to The Royal Albert Hall to see a concert this weekend.
In a quiet street, and not packed restaurant like the one on Sloane Street where we usually go.Always reliable good simple food and very nice service. The lunch menu is very good value for money and steak+chips always delicious as well as my favourite Apple crumble.
the food and service was excellent. Good value for money. The toilets were clean. We had a three couse meal, The beetroot starter was lovely, the belly pork fabulous, and the dark chocolate pot sublime!
Very busy and closely packed making it hot and loud. . Mixed quality of food. Service was fine but just not a very relaxing experience overall.
Great food good service very friendly staff value for money and even got a free bottle of wine. Not bad for London prices wood definitely go again
This was our third visit to a Cote and each time it has been a very good experience. Pleasant environment, attentive service and high quality food. Our first visit was in Exeter and my only complaint was that the egg on my Boudin Noir was overcooked. I mentioned this last night in Kensington and when the Boudin Noir came, the egg was cooked perfectly. We also had the prawns (delicious) and the creme caramel (wonderful).
Food and value excellent. Only gripe was that our table for two was rather squashed. We couldn't push our chairs back and the lady behind me kept pushing my chair.
Nice food, but shame they didn't do the cheaper set early eve meal on a Saturday like the other branches do. Also, minute steak a bit chewey. Charcutierie board delicious
Excellent evening - as always - at Cote Ken Hi St. Good food, excellent service, comfortable restaurant with good friends all the right ingredients to make a great dining night out. Thank you.
Friendly staff, consistently good food, good value for money, good location and cosy French atmosphere, like steak frite, menu changing every month, some good some not to my liking
The staff at this Cote are consistently good and welcoming, always enjoy coming when in Kensington. Food is freshly cooked and tasty and served promptly.
Excellent service, food consistently good. Great place for pre-theatre meal. Seems that booking is essential as it was very busy even at 16.30. Highly recommended
Not my 1st lunch at the chain but 1st at Kensington Cotes. My chicken fillet was so tough, it was a brownish colour on one side. Confusion over Rewards promotion on website too. Staff weren't awful and sorted something out with manager but it was HARD WORK guys!😣
Really convenient for the Royal Albert Hall and efficient service. As always a typical taste of France. Good value for money and good quality food
This restaurant is just off Kensington High Street and is usually quite busy but they still managed to make us welcome and served us a lovely evening meal. There were diners sitting outside on the sunny day we visited.
Lovely meal. The staff were great. friendly but and didn't rush us at all , even when we were too busy chatting to look at the menu! Would go there again.
Welcoming and efficient when taking food order. A little slow in addressing ad hoc requests for preserves and ice. Good food and service. Value for money.
Great dinner tonight and every time I dine at Cote, High Street Kensington. Good food and nice staff. Great value for very delicious offerings. Thank you for another enjoyable dinner.
It's time they changed the menu because, even though we like the service and the ambience, we are running out of choices. And, on this particular occasion - Saturday evening at 2000-2230, it was like a creche. The next door table of 10 had four children, two of whom were under 3 approx with two large buggies parked between their table and ours. The parents/grandparents were up and down frequently with the two youngest running around the restaurant at times unsupervised. At one time, one child was put into the buggy and wheeled around and the other was piled high with coats etc. It was not conducive to an undisturbed dinner. The other two, boys, spent all the time on their handheld devices so were not a problem but, in my view, nice tough it is to see young children out in restaurants, there is a time and a place. Cote is off our radar for the time being and, even though I have registered for Cote Rewards, it will be a while before I earn any more points.
Lunch set menu was clearly a good value. It is very conveniently located just off Kensington High Street. Outside terrace is very pleasant if one does not mind the sun and dust. Lunch was very good though the service was a little slow.
Very efficient service given we were heading for the theatre. All five meals were thoroughly enjoyed. The whitebait was very tasty and the steak cooked to perfection.
