Great service and food selection. Excellent value for money with the meal deals on offer. Portion sizes great, kids menu also great value for money.
Not been to this branch before but as expected the service was good. It was very busy but we didn't wait long for our meal which arrived hot and was delicious. The complimentary bottle of wine was of a good quality and just made our day!
This really is an excellent chain. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is spot on. The locations too always seem to be characterful
It was a wonderful experience and the food was great! My guest were impressed and the service was tremendous! I will highly recommend this to many people!!
Excellent service and delicious food. Highly recommend the 10 year anniversary menu which includes a complimentary glass of champagne. Will definitely return to this restaurant.
Not the first time my wife and I have eaten here, however the service and food was as good as ever. Excellent selection of wines too.
My Wife and I enjoyed a delicious meal. The food was served piping hot on hot plates and the service was excellent. Quite an achievement as the restaurant was incredibly busy. The staff were excellent, polite and very attentive, well done to our waiter, unfortunately I can't recall his name. Great work Cote, Kensington!!!!
The free glass of champagne wasn't great & wasn't served in traditional flute which was a shame. My main meal was burnt & my friends starter wasn't cooked well and was falling apart. The water for the table was warm. Our server was lovely, have his recommendation on our wine which we loved. Always came to check on us and aplogiesed for the parts of the meal we weren't happy with and offered to change it but it was so busy we didn't want to be a bother.
I love your menus, and for my friend and I, yours is the restaurant of choice, every time we go out. Your theatre menus are imaginative, the prices are what one would expect, the wine list is very good - and we can and do recommend you to everyone we meet. Keep up the good work - we’re guaranteed fans!
A wonderful dinner had on this occasion - and good service from staff as well. Lovely to try the anniversary menu and to enjoy a lovely glass of bubbly too.
Well situated. Staff were efficient and friendly. We had the early evening menu and it was great value for money, with well presented dishes and good quality food.
Thoroughly enjoyable experience after a Proms concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and helpful. Would certainly visit again when visiting London.
Another lovely meal. Consistently good food and friendly service at our local restaurant. The early evening special menu at £12.95 for 3 courses is exceptional value.
Location is great for anyone visiting the Royal Albert Hall. The wide choice of dishes means that there is something for everyone - all perfectly cooked and served by the great team.
First visit to this cote but we have been to many. The restaurant goes quite deep so even on a sunny day you might be far inside, although there are also tables outside. Food was good Cote fare, Calamari is big and freshly fried, too much for one as the breadcrumbs make it quite heavy, tasty. I had a chicken supreme with bacon, artichoke and capers which I really enjoyed. Good all-round experience.
Amazing place. Absolutely good value for money. Wine list is great and good reasonable prices for such good wines. Service is attentive. The whole experience was great. Been there many times.
The usual reliable Cote experience. Good value pre-theatre menu, excellent service, pleasant decor. Food perhaps just a notch below the top standard at Brighton Cote.
We had a long leisurely late lunch and were under no pressure to leave. Food and drink good as ever. We would gladly go again.
The service is good and friendly. The set menu is of very good value. We enjoy the starters and the desserts but we think the main course Belly pork should be crispy on the top.
Great food choice on both A la carte and August specials and great service provided. Will definatly go again and would recommend to others as well.
Quality of food was very good and the price reasonable. Service was attentive and general ambience where the 5 of us were seated was good.
The service was friendly and efficient. Restaurant itself not too noisy. The early evening menu is a bargain and changes every month so every reason to return.
Great food and great service. We really enjoyed our meal and kids were treated really well too. Loved my hake and chick peas and chocolate mousse.
A poor meal, although we have eaten here before and usually the food is fine. Tonight however, bad quality, luke warm and slow service. Very disappointed.
We love it here but this time there seemed to have been a complete change of staff and it looked as though a lot of instruction was going on. Our wine was poured for us twice by the waiter, which is OK, but he then took away the empty bottle leaving us looking a bit bereft. The table lost some of its 'decoration'
The waitress are very friendly and welcoming. The pasta is very tasty and the seafood are very fresh. We enjoyed our meals very much. Thank you
Had a very pleasant early supper here with friends on Wednesday 19th July. The food was delicious and the service friendly and efficient. I had duck confit and creme caramel. It was my first visit to the Kensington branch although I go quite often to my local branch in Blackheath for breakfast and lunch with my family.
Couldn't fault the food or staff, but restaurant was very noisy and cramped. We were initially seated at table 24, at which there was no room to put one's feet on the ground and was the main thoroughfare for staff and guests.
Service is good. Staff polite and efficient. Food excellent and prices reasonable. The lunch two course menu is very good value for money. Lots of choice.
A bit slow delivering our sweets which made our deadline at the Royal Albert Hall very tight. We made it but only just! Also it is a shame the pre theatre menu applies only Sunday to Thursday.
Superb food! Great service and great prices - again! We'll be back! Best and most convenient restaurant for the Royal Albert Hall. See you on Thursday
Appalling off hand service unlike other Cotes. Ruined the evening. There is nothing else to add except the food was not as good as the Marylebone Cote a few days earlier .
Worked like clockwork and the food was good value and served with a smile. Will definitely return. A small complaint and the item was deducted from the bill.
Have used this place several times before 10 min walk to Albert Hall. Staff very friendly and food good but its very busy and the tables are close together
mgmt always graciously accommodates issues very well. I was disappointed they changed the haddock Aug 1st. that and French onion soup were my favorites and they're both gone. so may not go back for awhile.
A friendly welcome and delicious food - a winning combination. The 10-year anniversary menu was good value. It's not far from the Royal Albert Hall - handy for pre- or post-concert meals.
Unusually, good service was not always to the fore during our visit yesterday. The restaurant was not visibly particularly busy but we were not alone in getting a little frustrated about poor service at one point or another. Every member of staff who spoke to us was cordial but there seemed to be a lack of communication between servers and things forgotten or delayed. The food itself was pleasant but, as regular customers of at least 2 other Cote restaurants, we were surprised at the need to remind staff of items not delivered at the appropriate time and also at the attempt to deliver items for the next course before everything for the previous course had been delivered.
Having booked, we were not impressed to be given one of the worst tables in the restaurant - by the door. We asked to be moved & were given a table at the rear next to where they were setting up for a larger group. This was fine because the noise from the other diners was muted. The waitress was very good at checking if we were ready, so the possible disadvantage of sitting away from others was mitigated. Food-wise, things were mixed. Starters were fine & my daughter adored her Duck with Cherries. My wife & I both had Confit Duck, which tasted fine, but was very salty - certainly not to everyone's taste. The chocolate fondant for dessert looked & tasted like something heated up in a microwave. We'd go back, not least because we were in & out in a little over an hour, which was necessary because we were off the the Royal Albert Hall. However, we'll probably try somewhere else first.
Excellent, first time here and brought three friends who were equally delighted at the standard of food and the service. We will come again definitely.
An early evening visit to Kensington Cote.Service was efficient and no issues overall .When we first arrived the male waiter was rather brusque but luckily our waitress was friendly and the food and service was good.
Service always very attentive and friendly .always enjoy menu and good selection of specials and wine . Only complaint the whole restaurant is very noisy .
Nothing really to write home about regarding either the service or the meal. We both enjoyed our food (salad nicoise and minute steak and frites) but the attentive service or personality of the staff was lacking. We ordered a fairly expensive bottle of wine but apart from the first pour had to pour it ourselves. Our request for a second serving of butter for our bread was not delivered and we had to ask again. We could have spent much more but there was no upsell.
Good value pre theatre offer as usual.. although very busy we found the staff especially attentive which makes a huge difference. This is my favourite Cote and great for trips to the Royal Albert Hall. The creme caramel is my favourite dessert ever.
Swift yet personal and friendly service - my daughter was delayed by 15 minutes but it wasn't a problem and I felt very relaxed. Tasty food at a reasonable price for London
The food was very tasty as always, the service was friendly, but rather slow, even though there were not very many people.will go there again though.
Friendly, efficecient staff. Good food, served well and very good value. Excellent facilities.waiting staff very much aware of needs of customers. A all round enjoyable experience. Thankyou.
We arrived late because of traffic problems and were in a hurry. Food was served promptly and efficiently so that we could get to our concert in time. Excellent service.
Not the first time I've been here for very good reason. Excellent speedy and polite service. Very varied menu with something for everybody. Nice to have very hot plates. Just the place to unwind after a trip to the Proms!
Treated very well. The steaks ordered were overdone. They were replaced cheerfully and with no charge. Friendly service from Massimo, Marco and the whole crowd
Saturday lunch time the restaurant is too noisy for conversation. Food and service good but we decided we would not meet there again because of the noise from other customers. It was impossible to find a quiet table.
