Lovely food and very good value, especially the set lunch menu. Excellent service, as always just a bit noisy which is the only reason for not giving the top score.
The meal was excellent as usual. I had the sword fish 'special' as main course, which was particularly good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Staff friendly, food good, prices reasonable, waited ages for order to be taken (restaurant was packed) but once it was service was good, will come back.
I always enjoy going to Cote. Their menus are both innovative and delicious; wherever I am in London and wish to go to a restaurant, Cote is always my first choice. The service at Kensington is always exemplary; they always try to accommodate any diner’s wishes, and make any evening spent there a truly satisfying occasion. I would not hesitate to recommend Cote to anyone, and indeed have done so, on many occasions.
Yet another wonderful meal at a Côte Brassiere. 10/10 Food, wine, atmosphere were up to the usual high standards. The staff were polite prompt and attentive.
We were disappointed that, due to a technical error we didn't get our free glass of Kir Royale (although we did get an apology for the techy failure), but we were looked after famously. When we arrived we were seated promptly with orders for drinks following. Our light, early supper of Cod Jouson was served promptly and was delicious and we left with enough time to stroll to the Royal Albert Hall for our evening concert - thank you for looking after us
It was just a quick visit to this Cote restaurant after an evening performance at the Royal Albert Hall, but we enjoyed it as usual. The staff were all very nice and efficient, and the starters we ordered came very quickly together with a complimentary Kir Royale. The place was quiet and so my sister and I were able to catch up without any interruptions. I can definitely recommend this place.
Great atmosphere for family mothers day lunch. The food was great and the team were really helpful to ensure our meal was as enjoyable as possible.
Excellent service and a good menu. The food was good, without being outstanding but as for value for money, it was, as always, outstanding. Pleasant ambiance
Great service and thank you for miy husbands birthday sweet, much appreciated we will be back again when we are next up in town thanks again
WE arrived little but were warmly greeted, no delay to sitting down. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a pleasant start to the evening. Would not hesitate to return , or indeed to recommend
I am Coeliac and need to eat gluten free. The restaurent take this very seriously and the manager took personal responsibility for my order which was very reassuring. They had a separate gluten free menu and I had choice of 5 desserts! A rarity. Very impressed.
Relaxing, friendly staff & a wide range of dishes that are always reliably great, with a good wine list. We go to several other Cote Brasseries, but the Kensington one is our favourite.
As with all the Cote Restaurants, the atmosphere is very cosy and you feel you are in Paris! The staff at Kensington Cote were very friendly and helpful particularly with helping us chose the best wine for our food within our budget. The food was high quality and delicious. A little slow at the end when we wanted to pay but then our table had just been chatting and laughing for ages so I think they wanted to leave us alone to enjoy ourselves. Would recommend Cote to anyone.
enjoyable dining experience at Cote Kensington. food was very good and ample servings. staff very pleasant and efficient. would recommend the restaurant to other people.
Great food and service. Excellent duck and pork. Gin and tonics were good. Reasonable price for the quality and location. Great for after a show at the Albert Hall.
Friendly staff, efficient service and good food. Have visited several Cote restaurants and have seldom been disappointed but Kensington branch merits special mention. First class.
Excellent meal and service. The staff were very friendly, efficient and didn't rush us. Thank you. All the Cote restaurants we have been have been good.
Many thanks to Erandi, our waiter, for looking after us very well. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was tasty and good value for money
Very busy at Kensington Cote, but staff were friendly and service was prompt. Couldn't fault the food, as always. I had the duck breast and it was cooked perfectly and was really tender.
Once again a very pleasant evening meal, good service and ambiance. Menu does not appear to change so, havin* been several times need something differet
our table was ready & waiting when we arrived. All the staff were very friendly & welcoming. Food was served efficiently as we were in a tight timescale. Fantastic gluten free menu too!
We have had delicious meal. Staff were very attentive, even though the restaurant was extremely busy. Our third visit and we shall be returning. Thankyou
This was a lovely experience, delicious food, warm welcome and perfect service. We were entertaining guests coming to London for the first time, they were impressed!
Once again we have experienced good food and very prompt service. The monthly set menu provides a good balanced meal and represents good value mid-week, well done Cote.
Pooe service. Dry chicken. Overall a disappointing evening. The waiting staff were border line rude, not attentive and loaded with attitude. Will not be going back
Good food reasonably priced, with great selection on the menu. It was very crowed on the Saturday we went which shows how popular it is.
Helpful, friendly staff. Food arrived very quickly and was delicious and so reasonably priced. We also took advantage of the free Kir Royales in March - a very nice touch! Thanks.
Good food, good service. I always use Cote when away and this one is handy for the Albert Hall, pre or post performance. Good value
The service was excellent, the food fabulous, tasty and so well priced, good offers and would definately come again. Caters for all ages and groups. T
good and very tasty meal - The restaurant was quite fully booked so the service was too long. Nice place, lovely decoration. I recommand it.
Excellent service, really attentive and polite. The food is simply delicious. The table was slightly cramped as was I in a corner! Overall would definitely visit again.
The pork belly is one of my favourite dishes and was really nice and crispy. My guest had mussels which were excellent. The staff are always very attentive and the whole evening was, as usual, really lovely.
Our experience at Cote was brilliant. The food was excellent but it was the service that really stood out. We came on a mother’s day Sunday for dinner, arrived 40 Min late due to traffic and had a 7 month baby with us. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Super meal and amazing service. All staff were so helpful and friendly. Food was perfect I cooked and tasty. Extremely happy and had a lovely evening!
It was a Bit disorganised the waiters were running around and service was quite slow they must’ve been short staffed. Food wasn’t as good this time round sadly
All five of us thoroughly enjoyed the meals, service was relaxed but efficient, especially as there were some big groups in the restaurant. Very handy for the RAH. Staff friendly.
The staff from all over Europe and Brazil were excellent (my wife and I both voted Remain in the EU election!) and the prices were sensible. I had one of the best glasses of Muscadet and a potion of Swordfish that I have ever had.
Excellent atmosphere, bistro French. Good range of dishes and good service. We will be going again next time we are in west London. Menu prices reasonable but service charge of 12.5% added automatically is a bit cheeky.
Could not have asked for any better. Fabulous attentive service, wonderful food (and very hot) and as we chose the early bird menu it was also extremely good value for money. Highly recommended.
Food and service good, but tables too close together and so hard to converse because of too many other conversions going on right on top of you.
The atmosphere is warm & inviting, the service is always friendly & efficient, but the food is sometimes a bit hit & miss. It’s worth asking for the lunch/early dinner menu.
I enjoyed the meal as did my partner. The food is consistently good. The service could have been a little faster but was sufficient. The restaurant was full as it is conveniently located for shoppers on a High Street Kensington. And, the price is right.
Service was very slow. Food was terrible. My tuna was overcooked (menu says medium rare), a friend's salmon was cold and the calamari was all batter (tasting of cold cardboard). My white wine was room temperature. Seriously disappointing as we chose Cote because we thought it was reliable and reasonably priced. This has changed our minds, there are many other restaurant choices.
We really enjoyed our Sunday brunch here before strolling to the Royal Albert Hall for a matinee. Nice atmosphere. The french breakfast, crepe, and french toast were all delicious and the service was friendly. Coffee was too tepid for our liking, so knocked a point off
The restaurant was very busy, meaning that the service was not up to the usual high standard. The soup should have been hotter. Very noisy, as always - conversation very difficult.
As always we had a very good meal with our favourite table! Duck breast is always good and my guest enjoyed her cod goujons. We are going back tomorrow night - it is by far the best place to eat after Royal College of Music.
Cote's usual good menus in cosy atmosphere, taving tried several other locations we were concerned that this was a smaller 'Bistro' setup, but it still feels roomy. Excellent service throughout.
Relaxed and tucked behind the high street. My children and two teenage grandchildren hadn’t been before. All very enthusiastic about the variety, quality and value in this great French brasserie.
Brilliant food and kind service with a great ambience in the restaurant. In a very nice part of London, would definitely go back to dine again.
