A good atmosphere Very friendly staff And a delicious lunch. We were impressed how busy it was with others clearly enjoying the experience We would definitely go back when next in the area
Another lovely meal. There was a slight problem with one of this dishes and this was put right immediately. There is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff are always friendly and attentive. The gluten free menu is excellent and we have confidence that care is taken to avoid cross contamination. We usually book in for a meal when we are in this area of London and will continue to do so. This trip we also called in for breakfast, which was also very good.
Starter was nice. Atmosphere was nice. Main was dead dull but we were not charged for it and the staff were lovely so not a total disaster then
Excellent food and service. A great place for anyone with a gluten allergy as they have a gluten free menu and all the dishes are labelled with a little 'Gluten Free' flag to avoid any confusion
Great atmosphere, service, great food and with the offer we had - a free drink as well. All of us agreed we had a really enjoyable evening.
Booking online was easy and efficient. Had to change time cos my guest from out of London was stuck on tube. Change was effected very easily. Service was cheerful. Food was really tasty. Price was reasonable. We had the two course menu @ £11.50 per person. Will definitely go back and will recommend it to others.
Superb dinner from starter to dessert. Excellent filet with au poivre sauce and crepe Chantilly. Service was friendly and attentive yet relaxed. We would definitely recommend Cote Bistro!
Normally we love Côte, its food and helpful staff. On Saturday though it was not the case and the Mgr had to get involved so we get served as waiter totally inefficient. Hopefully a one off. Food as good as ever.
First class meal and very friendly and helpful staff. We often come here for a meal when we are in the area and are never disappointed. A+++++
The food is always superb and the service attentive and polite. As a disabled person on a restricted diet, I appreciate enormously that they will always help with slight adjustments to the menu. And the disabled toilet facilities are always scrupulously clean and completely accessible. I am always happy to return - it’s a firm favourite of mine - and many friends, to whom I have passed on its many attributes.
It’s a comfortable restaurant; the servers are pleasant; the menu is good and value for money is reasonable. On the other hand, it took almost an hour for food to arrive; one of the meals was wrong and the server wasn’t much inclined to fix it; a customer sitting on the terrace near the door was smoking a cigar - the breeze brought the smell into the whole restaurant.
A very enjoyable experience. Good food and good service with plenty to chose from the menu at affordable prices. Altogether a very welcome change form some others.
Food was good and staff excellent. Ambiance was good on a very hot summer day. Will be back again in the near future. Well done Cote
We went to Cote before going to the Royal Albert Hall for a Concert - great quiet location, with great food and excellent friendly service. Could not fault any part of the experience.
Food was nice, however, service slow after the original taking drinks order while distributing menus. We arrived 5.45, 30 minutes earlier than we had booked for. We were given a table for 2 straight away yet having ordered from the 2 course menu, my husband had his starter and main, I had a main but no time for dessert as at 6.55 I had to get up to find a waiter to bring us the bill so that we could pay up and have time to get to the Royal Albert hall in plenty of time for the 7.30 performance. Shame. We pointed out the lack of time, the waiter just told us that most of the other people were there to attend the theatre too, as if that made the situation better! We saw another group from the restaurant being shown to their seats during the second half, they obviously had no desire to see the whole show as we had.
Excellent service and delicious food, including steaks, fish, and deserts. We were lucky enough to have a table outside and the waiting staff were attentive and helpful with our wine choice.
Food was good, good ambience, friendly staff always make us feel welcoming, good value for the quality but a bit slow as being very busy last night
Easy online booking process. Convenient location after a walk in Hyde Park. Cote offered a very varied menu for all tastes. The food was good, the service was good and the prices were reasonable.
Great location, lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, we found the staff very friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. Saturday lunchtime, it was busy but everyone was efficient and we weren't rushed at all. Very good, thanks.
Very helpful staff - they identified my booking on arrival without fuss. Service was very attentive and food was very good. Very good value set menu for lunch.
Great casual place for a tasty and elegant meal. Convenient location with a great staff and a calm ambiance. My wife and I have enjoyed it as just a quiet dinner and with friends
This is a great place where you can sit inside or out. It is off a side street in Kensington not far from Kensington Palace and the Albert Hall. Food is great. Staff are wonderful. Always five stars.
Service was efficient and friendly. We chose from the new prestige fixed price menu that offers good value, bigger portions than the usual early evening fixed price menu. Great location as we went on to Opera in Holland Park.
Good food as in all branches. Staff could be a little more attentive and less chatty with each other. Nice surroundings and great location. Special menus are very good value and very consistent.
As usual staff were very helpful & we much appreciate that they always give us our preferred table (away from any music). It’s my restaurant of choice (no pun intended) in Kensington. Diane Choyce
Friendly and welcoming service. The only issue was the wine that was complimentary was put on the bill but this was swiftly corrected when pointed out. Food lovely as always.
It was a lovely meal - good service and tasty, reliable food. very nice location... good outdoor space. felt more like france than uk with all the lovely french being spoken all around!
Great value and lots of dishes to choose from the pre-7pm menu. Good, friendly service from the Cote team in a lively, Friday evening atmosphere. Overall, a very enjoyable evening.
Our food was delicious. Staff is friendly and service was superb. I go here at least once a month. One of my favorite restaurants in Kensington.
Food was nice but our waiter was pretty poor. We had just sat down in a mostly empty restaurant, one of the diners had popped to toilet and he was standing over our table which was quite uncomfortable, even after we highlighted we would be a while to order. No concept of personal space. Only 3 diners, table set for 4, didn't clear the 4th space, service was slow to pay even though wandering around with nothing to do.
It was my third time at cote in Kensington, my family was visiting and I brought them there. They literally love it! The place, the staff and food, it won't disappoint you.
As always, great food and service. Always a pleasure to eat here
I loved the food and I loved the rose wine. I always look forward to Cote! Very nice helpful service too which made our children feel very included. Until next time!
Great restaurant, lovely food, good price. Great location for us as we visited Kensington Palace so it was only 15 minute walk or so from there.
Food was great. Service was pretty good until we had to wait 25 minutes AFTER we got the check and showed the credit card until the server was close enough to flag down with a wave to bring the CC machine over. Put a downer on the end of a lovely time .
A really enjoyable meal with faultless service. We deducted one mark because the chicken in one of our dishes was a little dry. Otherwise excellent and will certainly return. Also, great value!
First time at this restaurant and what a great find! Excellent quality food at amazingly good prices, especially for this area of London. Two course dinner for £11.95? Unbelievable. Great friendly service too! One to remember.
Côte continues to deliver good food again. It doesn’t seem to matter which branch we go to. Also the service is always to a good standard.
I've not been to the Cote in Knsington before but have loved other branches, so it was an obvious choice. Happy to say, great service, lovely food and good atmosphere....Cote is consistently good!!
The food remains as consistently good as ever but I feel the basic lunch set menu is being scaled back a little now there is the prestige menu also. The problem with the Kensington branch is it became rather cramped when they put the extra tables in more than a year ago now and it continues to be too hot at all times of the year.
Food good but service not up to usual standard. Gather busier than usual for a Monday. If it was first visit you wouldn’t go back
I added guests at last minute. Team was most welcoming, food excellent as we dual and price friendly. A sure place to have a great dinner experience
Very nice food, delivered in good time. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked to move tables. Excellent service. Will definitely be going back.
Service bad and food very moderate, we go to Cote quite a Bit but but last night was not very good . Chicken and pork was very dry and the steaks were tough and tasteless.
We enjoyed our visit but unfortunately we were pushed for time so was a bit of a quick meal. We should have liked to have been able to spend longer but we had to be elsewhere by 2 pm.
Lovely food well cooked and presented. Waitress attentive and helpful. Atmosphere typically bistro. Hard surfAces makes echos for those with hearing aids, otherwise hearty recommend.
Food lovely. Service very good. Only drawback was table with crying baby & 2 rather rambunctious under 4 yr old children crawling over seats next to us.
Happy with the food, but expected the garlic bread to be served a little bit earlier than the starters.. it came about 2 minutes before the starter was served
Very busy, took 1/2 hr to get a basket of bread. A simple dinner turned into a 3 hr affair. The restaurant wasn’t full. Need more serving staff!
Good food tonight - in a very full and busy restaurant. As a result, not enough staff to greet you as you stand there by the door for a while looking like an idiot. But individuals make the place welcoming, once they have been greeted warmly themselves by the customers. And charming they became once they realised that they were looking after normal human beings. Service slow because not enough staff, but very smiley, and food better than usual. A happy evening. Thank you.
