Côte Kensington

As a frequently returning customer, I am happy to report that the standard was just as good as on my last visit. Tried the 2 course Prestige menu- the baked crottin was delicious and the ribeye steak a large juicy step up from the minute steak on the lunch menu. Friendly attentive staff as always.

Excellent service, good reliable food and a buzzy atmosphere without being too noisy.

I organised a dinner for a delegation of 25+ Chinese government officials visiting our team and everyone at Côte Kensington was amazing! There was an evident language barrier but the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and make sure all orders were correct, we all left at the end of the evening having enjoyed a lovely outing.

Always a pleasure to eat at a Cote. The free cocktail gets things off to a great start. Then the atmosphere is lovely - not noisy, so you can chat to friends more easily. Food really delicious and so reasonably priced. Am always impressed with the staff - very above average. We were late for our table but not made not feel bad! All in all I would have absolutely no hesitation in re-booking and would recommend to friends.

Helpful staff when one of our party was in a wheelchair.

Overall we enjoyed our lunch, the staff were very nice and friendly and the food was as usual very good.

It was a disappointing dining experience tonight - have been very pleased with Cote Sloane Square & Cote Old Amersham. However we dined at 6.30pm on the special Day Menu, but the Sea Bass was already OFF - sold out we were told after busy lunch hour! So we chose the Breaded Chicken which was okay but the vegetables were not - Creamed Spinach had a strange bitter taste which I discovered was Pernod!! Why do you use this flavouring it was difficult to find the spinach taste with such a strong Pernod taste? Also I had the green beans (which I have had last week in Sloane Square) which were so tough it was very difficult to cut them let alone chew them!! A great disappointment all round really.

Very good service, it was a good location for breakfast meeting.

Always great food, wine and great service. So nice to know that real food is still available at very affordable prices in the heart of London.

Not only Cote Kensington is convenient being in my neighbourhood, it’s position is lovely, the food very well cooked and the service, always polite, efficient and flexible. Well done and keep it up!

Excellent specials menu available during September which enables you to have a free cocktail.

The service was excellent, although they gave us a table too close to the staircase/ in the middle of the passage, so we often had to move to let other guests walk past.

I like Cotê, I eat in lots of Cotê restaurants all over the country, but that was one of the worse plates I’ve had in a Cotê. I had the Poulet Grillé. The chicken was dry and tasteless and when I eventually found the meagre amount of gratin potatoes hidden under the sauce they were hard/rubbery to the point of being inedible.

Great varied menu, and friendly efficient staff. Great ambience and lighting.

Overall good but my companions fruit crumble was brought to the table uncooked and had to be replaced

Set lunch menu was excellent value. Despite being a party of six, food came out really quickly. Was perfect for a mid-week lunch before going back to work. This will now be our go-to place!

We like Cote's style, food and value. My wife's salmon was not as good as we had the previous week at Cote Charlotte Street, but nice to be outside on a very hot day.

A slow start... to service! However, things improved. Excellent starters: thin sliced pork tenderloin ('delicious and full of taste'); and smoked mackerel with (slightly overdone) poached egg and correctly cooked peas. Main courses: mussles linguine with good chilli and garlic sauce. Not a French dish (but we did both order it), and it was well done. Overall, we will be back!

We were going to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall and had booked at Cote for 5.30. You had lost our booking but it was OK and we ate outside. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent and very good value. We shall be back!

Always enjoy eating at Côte as food always very tasty and plenty of choice for everyone. Although three of our party opted for the à la carte menu, mainly because two of us wanted the Breton fish stew (which was delicious), there were also two other set menus with equally great choices and one of our party chose one of those as they always find the Breton half chicken very satisfying and that happened to be on one of the set menus as well as the á la carte! We had a lovely rosé and the staff were all very attentive.

Delicious food, brilliant service & great value ...you can’t beat Cote for the perfect dining experience.
