Côte Kensington

In December, it's a busy time of year with Christmas parties etc. but the service coped well and looked after our special request with tact - it was real customer service at its best. The December menu meal was excellent value. Chapeau Côte, Kensington.

We only had time for one course but we all enjoyed moulds and chicken before rushing off to a concert. The noise level is fine in front of house.

Not quite as good as usual mainly due I think to it being over busy (time of year and a Friday) Their previous meat supplier went bankrupt I was told and they are struggling finding a reliable replacement. To judge by my rather tough steak they have not found one yet. Will return in the New Year.

We had a very pleasant meal before going to the Royal Albert Hall. There were 14 of us, so a large group, but we had excellent service from the waiting staff; drinks, meals, coffees etc all delivered swiftly and accurately. We'll be back!

We visited Cotes High Street Kensington before going to the Royal Albert Hall. The service was quick, we were never left thinking we might be late. The food was delicious and service excellent. Would definitely dine there again

The service was friendly and efficient and the menu adequately catered for our needs and the chosen food was delivered to the table promptly. We are a regular visitors to Cote Restaurants in other parts of the country and will continue to be.

Despite arriving 40 minutes early we were warmly welcomed and shown straight to out table. We were asked straight away if we would like our complementary cocktails prepared, which was a nice touch. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant as perfect for any visiting the Royal Albert Hall or Hyde Park.

We have dined here twice in the last week and enjoyed it both times. Food was great, service excellent and ambiance really friendly.

Nice atmosphere - buzzy without being frantic. Excellent menu, choice of two reasonably priced set menus as well as a la carte. Good portion sizes and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

We did enjoy ourselves and had a delicious meal! The potatoes Dauphinois are delicious as was my dish of pork belly. The service is very friendly, professional and altogether top notch - always. It's also a great location, situated in a lovely cul-de-sac off Kensington High street at Kensington palace end, close to the Royal Albert Hall.

My friends and I come here every six months. We have tried other restaurants but this Cote is perfect for what we want.

We love Cote! This experience was just below par. There was nobody to treat us at the front reception, so we had to stand around to try and get noticed. The kitchen ran out of green beans, we had ordered 3 portions only to receive 1 and a 15minute delay before a waiter said the kitchen had run out., so we wouldn’t be getting the other 2 portions. Everyone had essentially finished their meals so no other sides were of consultation. The tuna nicoise was such a thin steak it had been cooked through, not pink. The bill came and we only paid 50% of the service charge, much to a look of confusion and almost disgust on the waitress face.

As usual we had a really enjoyable evening - my pork belly was delicious and just right for this cold weather. The complimentary Kir Royals were lovely as well!

Booked via Cote website, which was straightforward (bearing in mind I'm 76), although I could have telephoned if necessary. Welcome was friendly, service was efficient, food was tasty and the price was very reasonable for central London. The noise level was a bit high but this ws mainly down to some toddlers who weren't very happy. have used other Cote restaurants in outer London and all have been good.

Food was excellent just a little slow on the service but we were in a hurry for the Albert Hall also

A great experience. All the staff were geared to deliver excellent customer service to customers in a very busy restaurant filled with people that were en route to the Jools Holland concert at the Royal Albert Hall. . We use Cote a lot because of the quality of the food and the value you provide but the people that looked after us at your Kensington restraint were exceptional and clearly worked very much as a team. So congratulations to the management team for instilling this customer centric focus and rest assured we will be back . Indeed already looking for another concert to attend at the Royal Albert Hall to which we will add a pre concert meal at your restaurant. Good ambience, great value for money, and food is consistently good with variety each month and excellent service

Even though we booked a week in advance we were offered a table right in the main walkway between front door/kitchen/bar and the main restaurant area. This is irritating. We ask for a different table and were taken to another acceptable table but there was a note of annoyance their attitude. Everything else was very good.
